Politics / Re: Plateau Killings: Questions Fayose Is Asking Buhari On Attacks by babilicious: 5:07pm On Jun 27, 2018
Belluchii:
This Fayose is at it again, he takes everything as joke, i don't know why he uses every opportunity to hit on the government. he is acting as if he has the interest of this country at heart. its glaring that he is just happy that this has happened, at least he has seen something to attack with, he is so heartless, using a very terrible situation to pursue a career. I don't know why he is judging, he should focus on his state and let the FG do their job. He was not the one who advice the FG when they introduced operations across the country that comes out successful, he should stop making people have a negative impression about the Government
if this is your response to a man (Fayose) calling out the president of his country (Buhari) who is suppose to be accountable to the masses but rather folds his arms while they are being slaughtered like animals in retaliation of 200 cows killed by them then You are more than evil... Fayose stands out as one of the politicians if not the only politician who still calls out the president for any wrong doing orchestrated by him ...people don't need Fayose to make them have a negative impression about the government ...people already have a negative impression about the government because the government is a massive failure in all ramifications.

The Malachi card grin grin grin Why am I not surprised?

Bros, see the light. Our endtime "Men of GOLD" have hoodwinked us into thinking the Book of Malachi was written for us, when in all honesty and as proven by the Bible, it was addressed to the errant Levites and Priests!

The first question you should ask is that who was this message directed at? The answer lies in the book of Numbers 18 : 25 -28 which states that “the lord commanded Moses to say to the Levites when you receive from the Israelites the tithe that the lord gives you as your possession, you must present a tenth of it as a special contribution to the lord. This special contribution will be considered as the equivalent of the offering which the farmer makes of new grain and wine. In this way you would also present the special contribution which belongs to the lord from all the tithes which you receive from the Israelites. You are to give this special contribution for the lord to Aaron the priest”

From the above it is clear that it was the Levites that were directed to pay a tithe of the tithe they collected from the Israelites to the priest who represents God and not the people of Israel. It was this Levites that were being referred to in the book of Malachi as those who rob God. A thorough study of the book of Malachi would reveal that in those days the Levites were collecting the tithe from the people of Israel and not remitting a tithe of it to the house of God, hence Malachi’s statement which is now being quoted out of context.

To understand what tithes really means one would have to understand the social reasons and cultural / religious setting within which it was situated this concept of tithes was properly explained in the bible as stated in the laws of the tithe which can be found in the books of Leviticus 27 : 30 – 34, Numbers 18 : 25 – 31 and Deuteronomy 14 : 22 – 29. Upon reading this passages one would understand what tithes really means, but unfortunately most pastors prefer to neglect these passages that tell us the true meaning of tithes and emphasize on Malachi 3 : 8 - 10 which was directed to the Levites of that time to remit the priest’s share of the tithes they collected to him. It is worthy of note that Malachi does not even define what tithes is and how it should be paid. The definition of tithes as practiced today was manufactured by modern day pastors to suit their purpose as it is completely in contrast with what is in the bible and it only seeks to manipulate Christians to believe that God requests 10 per cent of their gross income from them.

Another point of note is: How come out of the 613 biblical laws of Moses which were handed out to the people of Israel, it is only an adulterated version of the law of tithe that is still being practised today, apart from the Ten Commandments?

How come we are no longer required to offer burnt sacrifices? How come we no longer stone people to death for sinning?

The truth is that only tithing was dug out of the laws of Moses because it presents material benefits to the collectors of tithes. Given that most Christians do not study their bibles and depend on their priests to guide them through, it was easy for pastors to pick a passage in the bible (Malachi 3 : 8-10), quote it out of context and use it to manipulate the flock into parting with 10 per cent of their income.

Furthermore, it is worthy of note that neither Jesus Christ nor any of the apostles ever preached about or collected tithe. In fact, in the bible, Jesus Christ only spoke about tithes in Luke 11:42 which states that: “But woe unto you Pharisees! For ye tithe mint and rue all manner of herbs, and pass over judgement and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.” Here we can see that Jesus Christ is rebuking the Pharisees for laying emphasis on tithes instead of the more important things of the spirit, like our pastors are doing today.

In Acts 15, we find outlined what the apostles all agreed was necessary for the newly converted Gentiles to practise, and by inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God, tithing is conspicuously missing. Yet, what is one of the very first legislated duties taught to Gentile converts by the Church today? It is that they must tithe their annual salaries to the Church. Where did this unscriptural law of Christian tithing come from?

Notice this telling bit of history from the Encyclopaedia Britannica (1963, volume 22, page 253, ‘TITHES’). “Tithes in Christendom—The earliest authentic example of anything like a law of the State enforcing payment appears to occur in the capitularies [Ecclesiasticals] of Charlemagne at the end of the 8th or beginning of the 9th century. Tithes were, by that enactment, to be applied to the maintenance of the bishop, clergy, the poor, and the fabric of the church. In the course of time the principle of payment of tithes was extended far beyond its original intention. Thus, they became transferable to laymen and saleable like ordinary property, despite the injunctions of the third Lateran Council; and they became payable out of sources of income [not just farming and herding, but other trades and occupations and salaries paid in the form of money] not originally tithable.”

The Catholic Church knows its own history. Here is how tithing got back into the Church after being absent for nearly five centuries:

“As the Church expanded and various institutions arose, it became necessary to make laws which would insure the proper and permanent support of the clergy. The payment of tithes was adopted from the Old Law… The earliest positive legislation on the subject seems to be contained in the letter of the bishops assembled at Tours in 567 and the [canons] of the Council of Macon in 585.”—The Catholic Encyclopaedia.

They “extended” their base of tithe collecting to eventually include all forms of income. All Christian scholars know that although money was in wide use in ancient Israel, it was never a titheable commodity. But modern pastors don’t want tithes of goats or oil or corn, they want money–cold, hard cash! God has a word to the “shepherds of the sheep”, and it is the very same message that He had for the Levites in the book of Malachi. And it is this:

“My people have been lost sheep, their shepherds have caused them to go astray” (Jer. 50:6).

My people, shine your eyes shocked shocked shocked

i am glad that you are highly equipped with lots of scriptures ...i am glad you also used Numbers 18:25 ....." the Lord commanded Moses to say to the Levites when you receive from the Israelites the tithe that the lord gives you ..." thereby admitting that the Israelites are to pay tithes...All Christians are regarded as Abraham's descendants and he is the grandfather of Jacob ( also called Israel)...hence we (you and i are Israelites) and from the scripture you quoted we(you and I )are to pay tithes...
Going further to literally interpret the scripture you used ...Numbers 18:25 "the lord commanded Moses to say to the Levites when you receive from the Israelites the tithe...) One can rightly concluded that Levites (priest or Pastors or whatsoever we call them presently) are to be given our tithes since the scripture you quoted says ..... THE LORD COMMANDED MOSES TO SAY TO THE LEVITES WHEN YOU RECEIVE....
Please i ask you...if i am to adhere strictly to Numbers 18:25 which you used to explain or counter the scripture quoted by me (Malachi 3:10 ) .. I am suppose to give...handover my tithe to the Levites (priest or pastors) and don't have to bring it to God's house or store or temple (as written in Malachi 3:10) ..meaning i can give it to them anywhere and at anytime...Please does this way of tithing seem appealing and right to you?
Please what of Matt 23:23 where Jesus said , "Yes" we should tithe...was he also referring to the Levites?
while you are pondering over these questions please let it be known to you that i don't oppose your views or any other person's views about tithing (I am NOT GOD )....all am after is that we shouldn't compel or convince another to accept our views because the bible says we should not do anything if it causes another Christian to stumble as you may have faith to believe that there's nothing wrong with what you are doing ( and the other christian may not have your kind of faith thereby making him/her to stumble) rather keep it between you and God (you don't owe anybody an explanation neither is it a must to convince anyone)...hence you will be guilty of sinning....Romans 14:21-23(read)
this is and will continue to be my stand on this issue....i have made my decision and its between God and I.

Nobody is leading anybody astray. Did Jesus ask tithers to pay in money?

Secondly, why would you quote a verse to suit your narrative and when I quote another verse from the same book, you scream old testament?
in response to your first question:- Please what is the one-tenth of your crops? i believe you are not a farmer ( but if you are please you can bring one_tenth of your crops to the house of God).....i believe you work and your salary is paid in cash and not with crops...So it is one tenth of your salary in cash you are expected to Give same God who availed you the opportunity to have your job in the first place. The issue is that when we make all these arguments concerning tithing we all know the truth and what to do but decide to act others just for the fun and purpose of the argument.
in response to your second question:- please where/ when and which write-up/post did i ever respond to you by saying you are quoting the Old testament...Please it is Babilicious that is responding to your post ...don't mistake me for another and please don't avoid the vital points i have raised by bringing sentimental and imaginary words or sentence that never transpired between us

God asked us to bring out tithe to his house and store , how dose this mean giving it to pastors?

Go to Judaism and see how they tithe then come back let's talk
Where is God's House or store....Please interpret this with all sincerity to yourself void of every emotions and sentiments.
who asked you to give your tithes to pastors?
it is only logical that when you bring your tithe to his house (which you and i know is the Church )....you can either put it in the tithe box or drop it on the altar (if you feel your giving it to the Pastor during the church service when tithers are called out amounts to giving it to the pastor for his personal gain)
but if you ain't satisfied with the above options and still feel like you are giving it to the pastor...please drop it on the floor of the church that way you maybe interpreting the scripture in Malachi 3:10 literally....its your decision

If i quote verses from the OT, you will scream it's Old Testament and Jesus has cleaned us from it but he didn't remember to clean Malachi which Pastors use to collect tithe and he also forgot to clean Proverbs and other verses used for their advantages. But when inciteful verses are quoted then it's becomes OT even when Jesus said in Luke 16:17 that every law will come to pass
Also read Matt 23:23 and please read the whole verse ...down to where Jesus said Yes you should pay your tithe ( that's a new Testament scripture..Right?)...don't read it like Daddy Freeze who selected only the first part which suits his argument. i still recommend you read Romans 14 :21-23....so that you will understand the implication of leading others astray with your opinion. keep your opinion between you and God as instructed in Romans 14:22 so you don't lead others astray

I dare you to quote a bible verse that ask you to give men of God your tithe

There is only one part in the bible where instructions on how to tithe is given in the whole bible and that's deutronomy 14 from vers 22 read Down

You where advised to use your tithe to buy anything your soul lusted after including strong win and bring it to GOds house and eat and ask the pastors and poor to join you

When you and do this there is no way the pastors can go hungry and that's what mal 3:10 was talking about

in as much as God asked Christians not to argue concerning his words ( 2 Timothy 2:14), i will make an exception for clarity purpose. in Malachi 3:10, God asked us to bring our tithes and offerings to his storehouse or temple...(we all know this refers to church) as temple in the bible is used to describe either our bodies as Christians and/ churches. It is your duty to obey this not to question how it will be used. God is God Himself and does not need your help to fight or punish pastors that use tithes for their selfish reasons . Can't remember God recruiting your services when He punished Eli for the sins and atrocities committed by his sons Hophni and Phinehas ( Didn't see your name in the Bible as God's executioner ).
If you simply don't want to pay your tithe because you have an opinion about tithing please don't pay and keep it to yourself ...don't drag others or lead them astray because of your opinion for ROMANS 14:21 SAYS....."Don't do anything if it might cause another person to stumble...you may have the faith to believe that there is nothing wrong with what you are doing, but keep it between yourself and God....for you will be sinning"
Hence, if you believe that not tithing or bringing your tithe to church is the right way please keep it to yourself and God ( you don't owe anybody any explanation neither do you have to convince another person to accept your opinion) ...because from the bible verse stated earlier...if you you lead another person astray with your believe you are sinning.
i rest my case

My only succour is Bible reading before sleeping. My financial situation has dwindled to the extent it distracts my prayer life and even tries to steal the word from my heart

do not relent....keep reading the bible, declare the words in the bible daily and with mid-night prayers....soon you will weary the devil (Luke 18:1-5)...all you need is constant prayer and never give up ...persevere no matter how long it takes...God will definitely show up
Good day all, the idea of the reality of one having spiritual partner gets me confused. Many years back, I happened to find myself in this vigil my aunt dragged me to, and the female pastor / prophetess told me I have a spiritual girlfriend . I was really perplexed, because at the said time your boy just finish secondary school and I was shy as hell to even talk to girls. So I just ignored her, cos there was no girl in my life then.

Fast forward to two weeks back, a pastor/ prophet was invited to the house for vigil. After prayers he started dishing out problems and spiritual challenges we all have individually. When it got to my turn, yes your guess is good as mine, he looked at me and I have a spiritual wife shocked . I just smiled and didn't allow that get to me at all.

So my question is how true or real is it for one to have a spiritual partner he may or may not know about? Please first hand experience is all that is needed not hearsay, our religious brothers and sisters, real experience(S) is needed not faith or Bible teaching. Your valid inputs are highly welcomed.. pardon my typos in case . Gracias smiley

Do you have sex in your dreams, eat, or get sexually aroused in your dream...if yes...then you have a spiritual wife

My best friend slept with my boyfriend, I still love my boyfriend and I think we are going to be together again, but I cannot get it out of my head what both of them did to me.

My boyfriend said we were on a break when it happened, they were totally smashed and had sex. My friend has been my best friend for like nearly ten years, and she very well knew, break or not, how passionately in love I am with him.

Her excuse that it was that she was just really drunk and lonely and he was just there. His excuse is that we were on a break. While we were on this break about 2 months ago, I kissed someone else sad, wrong, I know, but I was honest with my boyfriend about it when we decided to get back together, he kept throwing it in my face, guilt tripping me about kissing someone else while we were on a break.

Then come to find out on that same break he had slept with my best friend but failed to tell me about it. But through all of this, I still love him, but hate him at the same time from taking away my best friend from me cry...I really love this guy cry...I don't know what to do cry
i will give it to you straight ..." THEY ARE STILL SLEEPING TOGETHER..." better walk away from them both with what is left of your dignity and self esteem

Never ague with armed people!

Never struggle with armed persons!

Give them what they want!

Your life is not worth deing for this country.

Dead men tell no tales.

Stay alive for your family.

Stay alive and be hopefull.

I pray i dont meet this kind of situations.

Just Comon sense.
and that's why they will keep infringing on the civilians right...because they always walk away after arbitrary use of their powers ....what about just keep quiet while the scenario is still playing out...get all the details you need about such erring police officers ....then sue them (include IGP in the suit) afterwards...then they will know that the ordinary civilian on the street knows his/her right and won't try such on another person....don't you think this is a better advise ?

The sad incident happened today in Ogun State. While narrating what happened, he said: “I had double encounters with SARS at Sango Toll Gate. They stopped the cab I was in and asked me to alight from the vehicle.
.
I got down and showed them my NYSC ID card and Artiste ID card. They asked to check my phone but I refused, I told them I just met their colleagues at Meiran and I was already getting frustrated with the way and manner they were stopping me for no reason, not like I was dressed shabily.
.
They asked me to get into their bus but I refused, suddenly a struggle ensued causing another scene again. I kept struggling with 2 of the SARS guys until their boss who’s well built and very masculine gave me series of slaps and blows before I obliged.
.
Meanwhile onlookers were just watching without anyone coming to my rescue. While in the bus, their boss said I injured him while struggling with them and for that I was going to pay for letting him ble
take a lawyer to the station since you have the bus number as an evidence, ask them to give you details of the police officers that were posted to that area you were picked up that day. threaten to sue them (if they don't comply please actually do so...judges are always eager to deal with erring police officers). once the police officers are produced demand for compensation for time wasted , money spent on medical bills and also threaten to sue for breach of fundamental rights if all your demands are not met. don't allow them intimidate you...you have a good case
That’s how I was turned into a punching bag by this. All this was happening while their bus driver who’s actually a local bus commuter driver was driving. After about an hour I was already thinking they were kidnappers due to the lonely areas we’ve been plying.
.
When he was done checking my phone without seeing nothing incriminating, he was like so I’m I a Yahoo Boy I said No. He then told the bus driver to stop at a Govt primary school field where touts do come to smoke Marijuana.
.
He then treathened to shoot me and dump my body at the bush saying nothing will happen. They said so because I’m a Corper that I think I can struggle with them. That they don’t know who is giving us useless orientation.
.
I was later uncuffed. Before I alighted from their bus, I was able to write down the bus number since I couldn’t get their identity. (SMK05X6, its a mini 7 seater bus. I’m traumatized and I only hope the NPF will investigate and bring this men to justice. I give UP on this country.”

Health / Re: How I Contacted HIV From Sleeping With Different Prostitutes At The Age Of 24 by babilicious: 12:35pm On Sep 15, 2017
GeneralNass:
Good evening my fellow nairalanders, some few days ago i created a thread here https://www.nairaland.com/4044625/slept-180-prostitutes-4-years concerning my strong addition with engaging with different prostitutes, i also saw same topic on yabaleft and gossip mill pages, in which i saw so many thousands of insults not replies and also i made mention of quitting totally from it in which i vowed and swore with my life to God Almighty that the last time i went will forever be my last, i swore never to engage and risks my life and sleeping with different prostitutes, and also i mentioned something like going for an hiv test the next day which is this past monday.

To cut the long story short i summoned courage and went for the text first thing that Monday morning before going to work.

When i arrived at the test center i sat and waited a little while because others were there before me, they all came to do their own different tests, then it got to my turn and my blood sample was taken, and i waited with shaky legs and a racing heart, just a few minutes and the result came in the woman in charge then handled it to me and i glanced through it and behold the unthinkable happened it came out positive (i was HIV positive +v) i just keeps staring at it like a doll, i don't know what to do or say at that moment, the woman was still standing looking at me, then she utter her first words something like it's not the end of the world that i should follow her that she wants to take me to someone for counseling, i was so filled with rage and regrets that i went out at once with so much anger and frustrations, i just went straight home and didn't bother to go to work that day, even up till today i had not gone to work, am just here lying lifeless, that same monday i logged in to nairaland and i saw many mentions urging me to update how the test result went, i don't have any intentions of opening a new topic concerning it, so i replied one of the mentions that it came out positive, since then i haven't logged in to nairaland until now, in which i logged in to read replies on the last page of my previous thread, in which i saw so many replies urging me to create a topic concerning it so that others will be able to learn from my experience.

Sincerely speaking i don't really knows how and where i wants to start in advising those engaging with prostitutes, and also those having sex without condoms. smh

If only u guys really knows how regretful and sorrowful am currently feeling , if only i could turn back the Sands of time, but it's too late to cry before the head is off, it's not worth it.

All because of 10 - 15 minutes pleasures, i used my own hand and money to destroy my life, so many thoughts on my mind right now i don't really knows what to do, am so confused, so i will start living on drugs daily for the rest of my life, me that don't knows how to take drugs also am always feeling the side effects of mostly all drugs i always took, just a little self control would have avoided all this mess i got myself into, i really feels like the ground should just open up and swallow me right now, what will my family say if they eventually finds out, the first son and father of the family, and also the most quiet and cool headed of them all has been infected with hiv virus, none will ever belive that i had ever kissed a girl before talk more of sleeping with different prostitutes, i don't really knows what to do or say anymore, i feels so weak and tired right now, am really so confused and frustrated, i really so messed up right now, i must say that everything in this life has his consequences, the icing of the cake is very sweet so it's the diabetes it could give u will be very bitter, nothing goes for nothing in this life, i must say to u guys my friends and my family that abstinence is the best, if u can't abstain at least use a condom, never u have sex using a condom when u are drunk it's too fatal, sex is sweet so it's the consequences of it is very disastrous if u inventually ran out of luck, the thought of living on drugs for the rests of my life is making me semi_mental, am so fed up with life right now, me that don't knows how to take drugs, me that am always feeling the side effects of taking any drugs all because of sexual pleasures my life has been ruined i can't actually believe that this is really happening, so am now hiv positive, so i have contracted the dreaded hiv virus.

When i was doing it jumping from one girl / prostitutes to the other, i thought i was enjoying life, i thought i was feeling and Banging a soft feminine body, i didn't knew that the feminine body is what will end me, i didn't knew that it's the same feminine body that is going to ruin my life, i didn't knew that it was not worth it, the cons smartly outweighs the pros. I really so full of anger, regrets and frustrations right now, what could easily be avoided, i allowed my stinking sexual urges to be controlling me all this while, all the sex i have had all this while what have i gained? Nothing.
What really pained me most is that all through my life since when i was born i had never and ever had sex without condom and am 100% certain i contracted this from condom breakage, just some little minutes that condom broke before i later noticed, i mentioned it earlier on my first threat that condom had busted about 5times since i started having sex, i definitely knew for sure that was how i contracted this, i have never enjoyed the feeling for once of normal skin to skin sex, i always use condom when ever am having sex, never have i had sex without using condom.

I don't think my life will ever remained as it was before again, just when i have made up my mind about quitting with different prostitutes

Am feeling so weak and tired right now, i can't type anymore, i wants to sleep now.
Goodnight and God's speed be with you all.
I pray you read this.......Go to God on your knees and in all sincerity confess your sins (Psalm 51).....there is nothing impossible for God to do. I am a living witness of the power and Might of God (The Most High God)....i have seen God heal cancer, AIDS (not just Hiv), deliver people from evil attacks, etc..... Don't limit God...He forgives us and does not hold our sins against us if we truly repent. Read Matt 6:33

I love the way you write, lol. The linking words were just flowing grin

I do agree with most of the things you wrote except you saying, there aren't many Adichies out there. It just depends on which country you are talking about. As for Nigeria, especially Nigerian women (this might sound harsh) but to me most of them are cowards. I have my reasons, I am just too tired to explain
When You make such assertions..then you should be willing to state/ give reasons to justify same...He who asserts must prove it....i believe your ideology is framed from the kind of women you associate with. I am a woman and i take it personal when anybody (man or woman) makes a negative general comment about Nigerian women . You CANNOT speak for the entire Nigerian women because you HAVE NOT met half of us. I AM A WOMAN, A LAWYER, AN ACTIVIST , A FEMINIST and NOT A COWARD.

Please no need of replying this woman on this platform cos she won't see it...let us reply her on her instagram (Laurestar)....she is supporting an illegal and unconstitutional act done by the government..the blood of all innocent people that have been killed in Aba will always speak against her and her generation....she thinks everything is politics...Nigerian soldiers have been killing people in Aba since 3am toady....breaking peoples doors at night and killing innocent people....May God avenge us and may he do unto those supporting this inhuman treatment what he did to the Egyptians

"Whether You Pray Or Not, What Will Happen Will Happen"...Actress Joju Reacts To The Killing In Anambra Catholic Church

Following the brutal killing of some innocent worshipers at St Philip's Catholic Church in Ozubulu, Anambra State by some unknown gunmen, Nigerian Actress, April Joju Muse has revealed that it was meant to happen.

According to the Actress who says she doesn't believe in the existence of God, 'prayer is not a guarantee of special favour or blessings' She also retorted that even as priests of God, they didn't foresee the shooting which took the lives of 11 innocent worshipers.

See what she wrote below:

"So some Catholic faithfuls were massacred in church, supposedly in d presence of god. Is it that d priest dint see it coming? The departed dint pray or love god enough? god really works in mysterious ways doesn't he?"

"Whether u pray or not, what will happen will happen, good or bad. Prayer is not a guarantee of special favour or protection. Rip to the brutally departed"

What do you have to tell this young lady?

http://www.michaeldoosblog.info/2017/08/whether-you-pray-or-not-what-will_6.html

IF a pastor or servant of God sees and knows everything before it happens..then he is ALL-KNOWING.. WHICH WILL automatically make him a GOD..because he won't have any need for God then...which is wrong....Even Elisha in the bible who had double portion of Elijah's power is not all knowing as he stated in the bible when he asked his servant to meet the Shunnamite woman on the way to his house to inquire of her if all was well ..as he said God had hidden the purpose of her coming from him (she was actually on her way to inform Elisha that her son was dead). so a priest or pastor or servant of God must not know everything
secondly, prayers can cancel all plans of the devil...please don't discourage pple for praying..if you feel/ think or believe it won't then that will be exactly what you will have..The bible says anything is possible for those who believe ..meaning if you believe prayer won't prevent certain things from happening...that will be the result you will get).. I am a living witness that prayer works all times and if you don't believe me please read about King Hezekiah, Jabez, Hannah, the Shunnamite woman etc in the bible
Family / Re: I Caught My Husband Chatting With A Lady On Facebook & WhatsApp & Confronted Him by babilicious: 1:27pm On Aug 04, 2017
you said that you didn't expect your husband to behave the way he did..meaning this change in his behaviour is new...i will tell you what a wise woman once told me, " a behaviour/attributes you meet a man with is his character (cannot drop it or change EXCEPT BY GOD'S GRACE) but a behaviour a man develops afterward or after marriage is something he picked up (can be changed)"
Since his cheating character just started it can be changed but something must have caused the change....
examine yourself first of all and after that start serious prayers....

some ladies are marine spirit agents waiting for preys or victims to drain....some of them are highly diabolical...you said you have been praying for breakthrough with your husband...your breakthrough is about being released but the devil only wants to contend with you so you don't get your breakthrough...devil wants your husband to sin so that he won't be at the right-standing with God (tell your husband this)...act fast and act right which is by fervent prayers (include 12 mid-night prayers) that is your greatest and only weapon...ask God to destroy your husband's relationship with the woman and restore your husband's love for you....May God help you.

Hello Nairalanders.

I have been married for a year and half. I thought hubby and i have been living happily and i would've swore he was faithful. A few days ago i saw that a random lady messaged him on Facebook and they got talking. I was shocked at first to see that he was chatting her up. Fast forward to yesterday I checked his phone and saw that himself and the lady had more conversation and what started as facebook chat had progressed from phone calls to whatsapp chat. The content of their chat seems they were eventually planning to hook up.

I confronted hubby but he wasn't remorseful and told me he doesn't owe me faithfulness and went on to sleep in the other room. Hubby and I pray together and are looking towards a very bright future together, this is not something i really saw coming from him. I am very troubled in my heart and pregnant for our first baby. He dozent feel any atom of pity that the whole issue might cause me problems and I have been wondering what has come over him. I am 100 percent faithful to my hubby and want the union to work out. I am at work typing and holding back tears. Please i need advise from mature people in the house, how do i deal with the situation. I am in my late 20s, he is in his late 30s.
Education / Re: Law School Vs. Kayode Bello: Give Him Another Chance Please - Nation's Editorial by babilicious: 2:48pm On Aug 03, 2017
You won't understand the doctrine of Fit and proper because is exclusive to only lawyers that have gone to Law school and not practicable in Nigerian universities.
Mr Kayode would've had a good case if he had conducted himself properly as an aspiring attorney. Seats reservation are not permissible in law school ...Lecturers would've have listened to him earlier but the question is how did he conduct himself while making his point?
the issue of law school having poor plumbing work e.t.c which he raised are uncalled for in this matter since he didn't complain earlier (through the right challenge) until the issue of his misconduct and unruly behaviour was brought up then he sought to rely on poor administration/ management , poor plumbing work e.t.c to deviate peoples mind from his unruly conduct.
Law school is totally different from what is obtainable in our universities...because it takes cognizance of your academic performance and your general character/ behaviour
Kayode's refusal to honour the invitation by law school shows extreme insubordination ..nobody ..i repeat nobody not even SANS, JUSTICES will refuse an invitation from a higher authority (NBA) not even late Gani NOT TO TALK OF AN ASPIRING LAWYER (not yet called to bar)....
if he had honoured the invitation then he would've made his grievances known to the Legal Education because in law school there is no partiality or favoritism ( ask those who went through the process) as everything is done in a dignified manner.
i petitioned a doctor in Law school clinic as a student... an invitation was sent to me ..i honoured it and made my grievances known and ofcourse disciplinary actions were taken and i wasn't affected in anyway .
In conclusion..i stand with the council of legal education as i maintain that Kayode deserves the punishment given to him ...IF SANS, JUSTICES, JUDGES e.t.c can submit to higher authorities... Please who is Kayode not to submit to authority..??

i truly understand Tonto....within our hearts we know the truth....and we all knw the wounds we saw on her body wasn't self inflicted...But i pray she stays off social media for now...cos no matter how she trys to convince pple that she is speaking the truth...some biased pple (most especially guys that want to stand up for their follow men) will choose NOT to believe her. Tonto should lay low...pray more and forgive them...That's when God will fight for her cos no matter how long it takes (Angelina Jolie & Brad pitt's shame came after 10 years or more)..truth will surely prevail...it is not her place to convince pple that she's saying the truth or expose them...It is God's place.. And Trust me NOBODY carrys out the best and perfect timing Vengeance than God...those who leave everything in the hands of God..will definitely see God's hands in everything

Crime / Re: Photo Of The 23-Year-Old Man Sentenced To Death For Stealing Android Phone by babilicious: 10:00pm On Mar 29, 2017
ok...I am Confused here...Cos it is stated in the criminal code that stealing is punishable with 3 months imprisonment..while armed robbery is 14 years imprisonment to life depending on the facts surrounding the case and if murder occurs during armed robbery then it will be treated as a murder case too which attracts life imprisonment or death sentence....so how can an offence of stealing alone result to death sentence...Hmmmmmmm....an FCT court for that matter...i understand the north make use of the penal code but the punishment for stealing alone is NOT death sentence in the penal code too....contact me
