Islam for Muslims / Re: Question Muslims Will Not Ever Want To Be Asked by babs787(m): 2:11pm On May 16, 2010
Surugede, the story is a misconception, very untrue as there is nowhere in the Quran that says one should kill infidel. There were christians, jews during the time of prophet (saw) and he never threatened them but even allowed them to practice their faith in the mosque without molestation. There was a treaty signed in which muslims protected non muslims, they practised their faith, did their transactions normally and were never opressed for practising different faith. I have read story somewhere and knew it to be a plot by mischief makers. As for the Imam statements which it could not be true but let us agree for a minute that he said that,he only said that for himself and not the MUSLIMS because Allah did not say such and even frowned at inconveniencing neighbors be it muslims or non muslims let alone killing. In muslim world,we do not accept everything said without facts, source and accepting such is termed Innovation and is a total deviation from Islam. Brother, the above is not correct as Allah, prophet, caliphs and companions never preached nor carried that out.

Salam Javalove

Longest time and I hope you are doing cool?

With regards to the issue at hand, I would suggest that you keep on praying (Nawafil Istikhara) and have faith but not to believe that the relationship should be a do or die affair. Seek advice from the learned ones and you should have it at the back of your mind that, it s not just having kids that matters, but watching them grow up strong, healthy and most importantly, being the joy of parent.

You should have it at the back you mind that, there is a reason for everything and that the devil known is better than the angel not known as said by a popular proverb. We should not open our eyes and enter a contract that would be unsatisfactory as a result of love and may turn either way later in life. Parting ways now may not seem good to both of you now but it would be the best when all else fail and would lead to future happiness.

At this stage, we should look at what the prophet said on the choice of a wife and we should ask ourselves, will we be happy seeing one's children fall victim as a result of negligence of the parent? We should all know that, it should not be the basis for marrying another wife with a strong genotype.

Lastly, seek advice, pray always and Allah will make things easier for you.

SINCERITY

Sincerity is the freeing of one's intentions from all impurities in order to come nearer to Allah. It is to ensure that the intentions behind all acts of worship and obedience to Allah are exclusively for His pleasure. It is the perpetual contemplation of the Creator, to the extent that one forgets the creation.

Sincerity is a condition for Allah's acceptance of good deeds performed in accordance with the sunnah of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Allah has commanded this in the Qur'an:

"And they have been commanded to worship only Allah, being sincere towards Him in their deen and true. (98:5)"

Abu Umama has related that a man once came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, "What of a man who joined us in the fighting, his intention being for fame and booty?" The Prophet said, "He receives nothing." The man repeated the question three times and each time the Prophet said, "He receives nothing". Then he said, "Allah only accepts actions that are intended purely for His pleasure."

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri related that the Prophet (saw) said in his khutba during the farewell pilgrimage, "Allah will bless whoever hears these words and whoever understands them, for it may be that those who pass on this knowledge are not those who will understand it the best. There are three things concerning which the heart of a believer should feel no enmity or malice: devoting one's actions to Allah, giving counsel to the Imams of the Muslims, and being loyal to the majority."

What is meant here is that these three things strengthen the heart, and whoever distinguishes himself in them will have a heart purified from all manner of deceit, corruption and evil.

A servant can only free himself from shaytan through sincere devotion, for Allah tells us in the Quran that Iblis said to Him:

"Except those of Your servants who are sincere. (38:83)"

It has been related that a rigtheous man used to say, "O self, be devout and you will be pure." When any wordly fortune, in which the self finds comfort and towards which the heart inclines, intrudes upon our worship, then it impairs the purity of our efforts and ruins our sincerity. Man is preoccupied with his good fortune and immersed in his desires and appetites; rarely are his actions or acts of worship free of temporary objectives and desires of this kind. For this reason it has been said that whoever secures a single moment of pure devotion to Allah in his life will survive, for devotion is rare and precious, and cleansing the heart of its impurities is an exacting undertaking.

In fact, devotion is the purifying of the heart from all impurities, whether few or many, so that the intention of drawing nearer to Allah is freed from all other motives, except that of seeking His pleasure. This can only come from a lover of Allah, who is so absorbed in contemplation of the next world that there remains in his heart no place for the love of this world. Such a person must be devote and pure in all his actions, even in eating, drinking and answering the calls of nature. With rare exceptions, anyone who is not like this will find the door of devotion closed in his face.

The everyday actions of a person who is overwhelmed by his or her love for Allah and the akhira are characterised by his love and they are, in fact, pure devotion.

In the same way, anyone whose soul is overwhelmed by love for and preoccupation with this world, or status and authority, will be so overwhelmed by these things that no act of worship, be it prayer or fasting, will be acceptable, except in very rare cases.

The remedy for love of this world is to break the worldly desires of the self, ending its greed for this world and purifying it in preparation for the next world. This will then become the state of the heart and sincere devotion will become easier to attain. There are a great many actions where a man acts, thinking they are purely intended for Allah's pleasure, but he is deluded, for he fails to see the defects in them.

It has been related that a man was used to praying in the first row in the mosque. One day he was late for the prayer, so he prayed in the second row. Feeling embarrassment when people saw him in the second row, he realised that the pleasure and satisfaction of the heart that he used to gain from praying in the first row were due to his seeing people seeing him there and admiring him for it. This is a subtle and intangible condition and actions are rarely safe from it. Apart from those whom Allah has assisted, few are aware of such delicate matters. Those who do not realise it only come to see their good deeds appearing as bad ones on the Day of Resurrection; they are the ones referred to in Allah's words:

"And something will come to them from Allah which they had never anticipated, for the evil of their deeds will become apparent to them. (39:47-48)"

And also: "Say: Shall We tell you who will lose most in respect of their deeds? Those whose efforts were astray in the life of this world, while they thought that they were doing good works. (18:103-104)"

Yaqub said: "A devout person is someone who conceals things that are good, in the same way that he conceals things that are bad."

As-Sousi said: "True devotion is to lose the faculty of being conscious of your devotion; for someone who identifies devotion in his devotion is a person whose devotion is in need of devotion." To contemplate devotion is to admire it, and admiration is an afflication; and that which is pure is whatever is free of all afflictions. This means that one's deeds should be purified from any self-admiration concerning the actions they entail.

Ayyub said: "It is much harder for the people of action to purify their intentions than it is to execute any of their actions."

Some people have said: "To be devout for a short while is to survive for ever, but devotion is rare." Suhail was asked: "What is the most difficult thing for the self? He said: "Devotion, when the self does not have the good fortunre of being endowed with it."

Al-Fudayl said: "Forsaking action for the sake of other people is to seek their admiration. To act for the sake of their admiration is to associate others with Allah. Devotion is when Allah frees you from both of these states.

Who is this Dajjal sef?

The Life and Deeds of the Dajjal

The Dajjal will be a man, created by Allah to be a test for people at the end of time. Many will be led astray through him, and many will be guided through him; only the sinful will be led astray. Al-Hafiz Ibn 'Ali al-Abar wrote in his book of history (al-Tarikh) that the Dajjal's Kunyah (nickname or paternal title) would be Abu Youssef.

Abu Bakrah said, "The Prophet said, "The Dajjal's parents will remain childless for thirty years, then a one-eyed child will be born to them. He will be very bad and will cause a great deal of trouble. When he sleeps, his eyes will be closed but his heart (or mind) will still be active.' Then he described his parents: 'His father will be a tall and thick man, with a long nose like a beak; his mother will be a huge, heavy-breasted woman.' Abu Bakrah said, "We heard that a child had been born to some of the Jews in Madina. Al-Zubayr Ibn al-Awam and I went see his pa, and found that they matched the description given by the Prophet. We saw the boy lying in the sun, covered with a blanket, murmuring to himself. We asked his parents about him, and they said, 'We remained childless for thirty years, then this one-eyed boy was born to us. He is very bad and causes a great deal of trouble. When we went out, we passed the boy. He asked us, 'What were you doing?' We said, 'Did you hear us?. He said, 'Yes; when I sleep, my eyes are closed but my heart (mind) is still active. That boy was Ibn Sayyad." (Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi; this Hadith is not very strong.) As we have already seen in the Saheeh Hadith, Malik and others think that Ibn Sayyad was not the Dajjal; he was one of a number of "lesser dajjals." Later he repented and embraced Islam; Allah knows best his heart and deeds.

The "greater" Dajjal is the one mentioned in the Hadith of Fatima bint Qays, which she narrated from the Prophet, from Tamim al-Dari, and which includes the story of the Jassasah.

The Dajjal will be permitted to appear at the end of time, after the Muslims have conquered a Roman city called Constantinople. He will first appear in Isfahan, in an area known as the Jewish quarter (al-Yahudiyyah). He will be followed by seventy thousand Jews from that area, all of them armed. Seventy thousand Tatars and many people from Khurasan will also follow him. At first he will appear as a tyrannical king, then he will claim to be a prophet, then a lord. Only the most ignorant of men will follow him; the righteous and those guided by Allah will reject him.

He will start to conquer the world country by country, fortress by fortress, region by region, town by town; no place will remain unscathed except Makkah and Madina. The length of his stay on earth will be forty days: one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of the days like normal days, i e his stay will be approximately one year and two and a half months. Allah will grant him many miracles, through which whoever He wills will be astray, and the faith of the believers will be strengthened. The descent of Jesus son of Mary, the true Messiah, will happen at the time of the Dajjal, the false messiah. He will descend to the minaret in the east of Damascus. The believers and true servants of Allah will gather to support him, and the Messiah Jesus son of Mary will lead them against the Dajjal, who at that time will be heading for Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). He will catch up with him at 'Aqabah 'Afiq. The Dajjal will run away from him, but Jesus will catch up with him at the gate of Ludd, and will kill him with his spear just as he is entering it. He will say to him, "I have to deal you a blow; you cannot escape." When the Dajjal faces him, he will begin to dissolve like salt in water. So Jesus will kill him with his spear at the gate of Ludd, and he will die there, as many Sahih Hadith indicate. Majma Ibn Jariyah is reported to have said, "I heard the Prophet saying, 'The son of Mary will kill the Dajjal at the gate of Ludd.' " (at-Tirmidhi.)

I have loads of hadiths on Dajjal from Bukhari but would narrow it down for easier reading and would start with that of Abu Hurayrah;

Abu Hurayrah said, "The Prophet said, 'Shall I tell you something about the Dajjal which no Prophet has ever told his people before me? The Dajjal is one-eyed and will bring with him something which will resemble Paradise and Hell; but that which he calls Paradise will in fact be Hell. I warn you against him as Noah warned his people against him.'" (al-Bukhari, Muslim)

'Abdullah Ibn 'Omar said, "The Prophet said, 'While I was asleep, I saw myself a dream performing Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Ka'ba. I saw a ruddy man with lank hair and water dripping from his head. I said, 'Who is he?" and they said, "The son of Mary." Then I turned around and saw another man with a huge body, red complexion, curly hair and one eye. His other eye looked like a floating grape. They said, "This is the Dajjal." The one who most resembles him is Ibn Qatan, a man from the tribe of al-Khuza'ah'." (al-Bukhari, Muslim).

Jabir Ibn 'Abdullah said, "The Prophet said, 'The Dajjal will appear at the end of time, when religion is taken lightly. He will have 40 days in which to travel throughout the earth. One of these days will be like a year, another will be like a month, a third will be like a week, and the rest will be like normal days. He will be riding a donkey; the width between its ears will be 40 cubits. He will say to the people: "I am your lord." He is one-eyed, but your Lord is not one-eyed. On his forehead will be written the word Kafir, and every believer, literate or illiterate, will be able to read it. He will go everywhere except Makkah and Madina, which Allah has forbidden to him; angels stand at their gates. He will have a mountain of bread, and the people will face hardship, except for those who follow him. He will have two rivers, and I know what is in them. He will call one Paradise and one Hell. Whoever enters the one he calls Paradise will find that it is Hell, and whoever enters the one he calls Hell will find that it is Paradise. Allah will send with him devils who will speak to the people. He will bring a great tribulation; he will issue a command to the sky and it will seem to the people as if it is raining. Then he will appear to kill someone and bring him back to life. After that he will no longer have this power. The people will say, "Can anybody do something like this except the Lord?" The Muslims will flee to Jabal al-Dukhan in Syria, and the Dajjal will come and besiege them. The siege will intensify and they will suffer great hardship. Then Isa (Jesus) son of Mary will descend, and will call the people at dawn: "O people, what prevented you from coming out to fight this evil liar?" They will answer, "He is a Jinn." Then they will go out, and find Isa (Jesus) son of Mary. The time for prayer will come, and the Muslims will call on Isa (Jesus) to lead the prayer, but he will say, "Let your Imam lead the prayer." Their Imam will lead them in praying Salat al-Subh (Morning prayer), then they will go out to fight the Dajjal. When the liar sees Isa (Jesus), he will dissolve like salt in water. Isa (Jesus) will go to him and kill him, and he will not let anyone who followed him live'." (Ahmad).

Umm Sharik bint Abil-Akr said, "O Messenger of Allah, where will the Arabs be at that time?" He said, "At that time they will be few; most of them will be in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem), and their Imam will be a righteous man. Whilst their Imam is going forward to lead the people in praying Salat al-Subh (the morning prayer), Isa (Jesus) son of Mary will descend. The Imam will step back, to let Isa (Jesus) lead the people in prayer, but Isa (Jesus) will place his hand between the mans shoulders and say, 'Go forward and lead the prayer, for the Iqamah was made for you. So the Imam will lead the people in prayer, and afterwards ISA (Jesus) - ’alayhis salâm - will say, 'Open the gate. The gate will be opened, and behind it will be the Dajjal and a thousand Jews, each of them bearing a sword and shield. When the Dajjal sees Isa (Jesus), he will begin to dissolve like salt in water, and will run away. Isa (Jesus) will say, 'You will remain alive until I strike you with my sword. He will catch up with him at the eastern gate of Ludd and will kill him. The Jews will be deflated with the help of Allah. There will be no place for them to hide; they will not be able to hide behind any stone, wall, animal or tree - except the boxthorn (al-Gharqarah) - without saying, 'O Muslim servant of Allah! here is a Jew, come and kill him!"

Abu Hurayrah said, "The Prophet said, 'The son of Mary will come down as a just leader. He will break the cross, and kill the pigs. Peace will prevail and people will use their swords as sickles. Every harmful beast will be made harmless; the sky will send down rain in Abundance, and the earth will bring forth its blessings. A child will play with a fox and not come to any harm; a wolf will graze with sheep and a lion with cattle, without harming them.' (Ahmad)

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet said, "The Prophets are like brothers; they have different mothers but their religion is one. I am the closest of all the people to Isa (Jesus) son of Mary, because there is no other Prophet between him and myself. He will come again, and when you see him, you will recognise him. He is of medium height and his colouring is reddish-white. He will be wearing two garments, and his hair will look wet. He will break the cross, kill the pigs, abolish the Jizyah and call the people to Islam. During his time, Allah will end every religion and sect other than Islam, and will destroy the Dajjal. Then peace and security will prevail on earth, so that lions will graze with camels, tigers with cattle, and wolves with sheep; children will be able to play with snakes without coming to any harm. Jesus will remain for forty years, then die, and the Muslims will pray for him." (Ahmad)

Dajjal is One-Eyed

Hadith - Bukhari 9.241, Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar

Allah's Apostle stood up amongst the people and then praised and glorified Allah as He deserved and then he mentioned Ad-Dajjal, saying, "I warn you of him, and there was no prophet but warned his followers of him; but I will tell you something about him which no prophet has told his followers: Ad-Dajjal is one-eyed whereas Allah is not."

Hadith - Bukhari 9.504, Narrated Abdullah
Ad-Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet . The Prophet said, "Allah is not hidden from you; He is not one-eyed," and pointed with his hand towards his eye, adding, "While Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal is blind in the right eye and his eye looks like a protruding grape."

I have been seeing where are you getting it wrong. I came across a book by Ahmed Thomas titled 'Dajjal- the King without clothes' where he beautifully explained dajjal in the light of social, political and economic system and unseen force that has been helping in spreading mischief.

From his book, we would see that there are three stages to dajjal

1. A world wide social, cultural and political phonemenon

2. Unseen forces

3. In dividual

The first one is when different social, political, economical system prepared by minions and his followers are being used to spread mischief and evils as we are witnessing today.

2. The unseen forces comprises the Jinn and UFOs. We have heard stories of how jinns are being used by man to spread evil and mislead people.

3 The third part is the Dajjal itself that would come at the later stage and the Holy prophet (saw) told us lot about him, the signs and when he would come. The book of revelation in the bible mentioned this as well though there has been serious alterations, deduction, addition, editing, re-editing in the stories giving it lack of incosistency as a result of the manipulation in the original manuscript giving room to the hadith which we could still laim to this day.

Ordinarily, Dajjal could be termed 'a liar'. Liar in the sense that they would be claiming to be God as seen in the hadith below.

In Bukhari 9. 237: Narrated by Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established

(1) till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine,

(2) till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle,

(3) till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of religious scholars)

(4) earthquakes will increase in number

(5) time will pass quickly,

(6) afflictions will appear,

(7) Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase,

(cool till wealth will be in abundance--so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, 'I am not in need of it,'

(9) till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings,

(10) till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, 'Would that I were in his place,'

(11) and till the sun rises from the West.

So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' (6.158) And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it."

Hope you are cool?

I could not finish replying you but I have enouhg time today to the needful. At this juncture, I would explain the grey area to you, the misconception on Dajjal and Authentic hadiths supporting same.

i never claimed so

You may not have said that but your denials with unsubstantiated proof showed that.

does this mean that Allah is having a physical eyes?
been one eyed means that he would have insight into material materials only and would be devoid of spiritual insight. if you study the traditions well, you will find out that the holy prophet said he(dajjal) would blind in the right eye?

RFLMAO. I can not help laughing at your reasoning above. Far from that, it is not saying that Allah has physical eyes but that people would know him being one eyed as he would claim to be Allah through deceits and when people see him with one eye, they should know him to be the person being mentioned by the prophet.

Also you keep drumming missionaries without having an inkling of what you are saying. Are missionaries not christians as well/ Why not leave them out of this and look at the present world, Muslims are more closer to Christians because we both believe in Jesus though in different ways and if you had stayed with a jew, you would realise the truth through their reasoning though some of them are very good.

In the world we are today, the superpower like America has Jewish influence and if you look at the record as at today, jews have been and still perpetrating evils. I do not know maybe because you are in Nigeria and we have the two religion as the major religions but if you take your mind out of nigeria, you would realise that Christianity or missionaries have nothing to do your allegation and you could still tell me the atrocities being committed by them NOW since you claimed dajjal is already around.

The Lessons from Death

Life slips away second by second. Are you aware that every day brings you closer to death or that death is as close to you as it is to other people?

Think of a baby who has just opened its eyes to the world and a man who is about to take in his last breath. Neither had influence on their birth or death whatsoever. Only God possesses the power to inspire the breath of life or to take it away.

All human beings will live until a certain day and then die. In the Qur'an, God gives an account of the attitude commonly shown towards death in the following verse.

Say “The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then ye will be sent back to the knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things ye did” (Al-Jumu`ah 62:cool

The majority of people avoid thinking about death. In the rapid flow of daily events, people usually occupy themselves with totally different subjects: what institution to enroll in, which company to work for, what color of clothing to wear next morning, what to cook for supper, etc. These are the kinds of major issues that we usually consider. Life is perceived as a routine process of such minor matters. Attempts to talk about death are always interrupted by those who do not feel comfortable hearing about it. Assuming death will come only when people grow older, they do not want to concern themselves with such an unpleasant subject. Yet it should be kept in mind that living for even one further hour is never guaranteed. Everyday, people witness the deaths of other people around them but think little about the day when others will witness their own death. People never suppose that such an end is awaiting them!

Nevertheless, when death comes to man, all the "realities" of life suddenly vanish. No reminder of the "good old days" endures in this world. Think of everything that you are able to do right now: You can blink your eyes, move your body, speak, laugh; all these are functions of your body. Now think about the state and shape your body will assume after your death.

From the moment you breathe for the last time, you will become nothing but a "heap of flesh". Your body, silent and motionless, will be carried to the morgue. There, it will be washed for the last time. Wrapped in a shroud, your corpse will be carried in a coffin to the graveyard. Once your remains are in the grave, soil will cover you. This is the end of your story. From now on, you are simply one of the names represented in the graveyard by a marble stone.

During the first months or years, your grave will be visited frequently. As time passes, fewer people will come. Decades later, there will be no one.

Meanwhile, your immediate family members will experience a different aspect of your death. At home, your room and bed will be empty. After the funeral, little of what belongs to you will be kept at home: Most of your clothes, shoes, etc, will be given to those who need them. Your file at the public registration office will be deleted or archived. During the first years, some will mourn you. Yet, time will work against the memories you left behind. Four or five decades later, there will remain only a few who remember you. Before long, new generations will come and none of your generation will exist any longer on earth. Whether you are remembered or not will be worthless to you.

While all this is taking place in the world, the corpse under the soil will go through a rapid process of decay. Soon after you are placed in the grave, the bacteria and insects proliferating in the corpse due to the absence of oxygen will start to function. The gasses released from these organisms will inflate the body, starting from the abdomen, altering its shape and appearance. Bloody froth will pop out the mouth and nose due to the pressure of gasses on the diaphragm. As corruption proceeds, body hair, nails, soles, and palms will fall off. Accompanying this outer alteration in the body, internal organs such as the lungs, heart, and liver will also decay. In the meantime, the most horrible scene takes place in the abdomen, where the skin can no longer bear the pressure of gasses and suddenly bursts, spreading an unendurably disgusting smell. Starting from the skull, muscles will detach from their particular places. Skin and soft tissues will completely disintegrate. The brain will decay and start looking like clay. This process will go on until the whole body is reduced to a skeleton.

There is no chance of going back to the old life again. Gathering around the supper table with family members, socializing, or having an honorable job will never again be possible.

In short, the "heap of flesh and bones" to which we assign an identity faces a quite nasty end. On the other hand, you — or rather, your soul — will leave this body as soon as you breathe your last. The remainder of you — your body — will become part of the soil.

Yes, but what is the reason for all these things happening?

If God willed, the body would never have decayed in such a way. That it does so actually carries a very important inner message in itself.

The tremendous end awaiting man should make him acknowledge that he is not a body himself, but a soul "encased" within a body. In other words, man has to acknowledge that he has an existence beyond his body. Furthermore, man should understand the death of his body which he tries to possess as if he is to remain eternally in this temporal world. However, this body, which he deems so important, will decay and become worm-eaten one day and finally be reduced to a skeleton. That day might be very soon.

Despite all these facts, people's mental process is inclined to disregard what they do not like or want. They are even inclined to deny the existence of things they avoid confronting. This tendency seems to be most apparent when death is the issue. Only a funeral or the sudden death of an immediate family member brings this reality to mind. Almost all of us see death far from ourselves. The assumption is that those who die while sleeping or in an accident are different people and what they face will never befall us! Everybody thinks it is too early to die and that there are always years ahead to live.

Yet most probably, people who die on the way to school or hurrying to attend a business meeting shared the same thought. They probably never thought that the next day's newspapers would publish news of their deaths. It is entirely possible that, as you read these lines, you still do not expect to die soon after you have finished them or even entertain the possibility that it might happen. Probably you feel that it is too early to die because there are many things to accomplish. However, this is just an avoidance of death and these are only vain endeavors to escape it:

[Say: "Running away will not profit you if you are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (you do escape), no more than a brief (respite) will you be allowed to enjoy!] (Al-Ahzab 33:16)

Man who is created alone should be aware that he will also die alone. Yet during his life, he lives almost addicted to possessions. His sole purpose in life becomes to possess more. Yet, people cannot take their goods with them to the grave. The body is buried, wrapped in a shroud made from the cheapest of fabrics. The body comes into this world alone and departs from it in the same way. The only asset people can take with them when they die is their belief or disbelief.

My brothers and sisters in the deen, lets ponder on this and think of what we sent forth for our tomorrow. May Allah in His infinite mercies let us live and die as Muslims

@Niyi

I am enjoying your post despite the fact that you refused to answer my questions on how they would recognise your being an Ahmadi and also noticed how you ignored the hadith thinking that you would be able to provide rebuttal or bring out a proof to nullify the chain of trasmission.

I also read how you deliberately ignored the first part of one Hadith but grasp at the latter part of it

Ubadah ibn Saamit radiyallahu anhu narrates that the Last Prophet  (peace & blessings be upon him) said, ‘I have explained Dajjal to you, but I fear that you might not have understood. Maseeh-ud-Dajjal will be short and his legs will be crooked. The hair on his head will be extremely twisted. He will have one eye, while his other eye will be flat. It will be neither deep, nor protruding.’

I thought you would explain why the Holy Prophet said HE would be short with crooked legs and one eye

It was also reported by

Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhuma narrates from the Last Prophet  (peace & blessings be upon him) regarding Dajjal, ‘…red complexioned, fat, curly haired man, blind in the right eye which looks like a bulging grape.’

I thought you would be able do justice to the above but deliberately ignored it because you could you explain why the Holy Prophet (saw) used the above adjective to qualify but still waiting for you to say it is METAPHORICALLY.

Let me leave you with some sayings of the prophet (saw)

`Abd Allah ibn `Umar narrated: Once Allah's Apostle stood amongst the people, glorified and praised Allah as He deserved and then mentioned the Dajjal saying, "l warn you against him (i.e. the Dajjal) and there was no prophet but warned his nation against him. No doubt, Noah warned his nation against him but I tell you about him something of which no prophet told his nation before me. You should know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is not one-eyed."

In the above Hadith as well, I noticed you ignoring my emboldened words

Ali was reported to have said: "His right eye will be punctured, and his left eye would be raised to his forehead and will be sparkling like a star. Only the believers will be able to read the word ‘Kufr’ [disbelief], inscribed in bold letters, on his forehead. There will be big mountains of smoke at both front and backsides of his caravan. People will anticipate food within those mountains, during the severe famine. He will be riding on a huge white coloured 'donkey' who will cover a mile in a single stride. All rivers, falling in his way, will become dry and he will call upon people in aloud voice, "O my friends come to me! I am your lord who has made your limbs and given you sustenance.

Lastly, you still ignored my emboldened pronoun as shown above.

Now to your response

i have told you its a mistake, what i meant was the christian missionaries

Hope you are not confusing yourself, did the missionaries start christianity or are they not christian? Are you not aware that there are number of verses referring to them in the Holy Quran:

People of the Book, do not go beyond the bounds in your religion, and say nought as to God but the Truth. The messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only the messenger of God, and his word (Fulfilment of his word (Fulfilment of His command, through the word "Be", for the creation of Jesus) that he committed to Mary, and a spirit originating from Him (was given life by God). So believe in God and His Messengers, and say not 'Three'. Refrain, better is for you. God is only one God. Glory be to him-that He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the Heavens and in the Earth; God suffices for a guardian.

The Messiah will not disdain to be a servant of God, neither the Angels who are close to Him. Whosoever disdains to serve Him and walks proud, He will assuredly muster them to Him, all of them.

As for the believers, who do deeds of righteousness, we will pay them their rewards in full, and He will give them more, of His bounty; as for them who disdain and walks proud, then He will punish with a severe punishment, and they shall not find for them, apart from God, a friend or helper." (An-Nissa 4:171-173)

Quote
That Kaa Faa Raa is not real.

its metaphorical.

It seems you do not comprehend the hadith. It says that even the Illiterate muslims would be able to read. When God decree anything, He would just say BE and it would BE. It is not happening but when the time comes, Iliterates would be able to read through the Power of Allah SWT.

mind you the christian missionaries

Please do not get yourself worked up. Are the missionaries just starting christianity or has it not been in existence? Better still, is is not missionaries that spread the religion from one country to another? Is the holy prophet or the companions not aware of them?

You also forgot that the Holy Prophet did not go to school but was able to read
he wasn't able to read!. if you say he was, then you are trying to say(God forbids) he was a lair, because when Gabriel came to him and told him to read, he replied saying ما انا بقارء (i cannot read), know that there is difference between been able to speak/talk & been able to read
[29:49] And thou didst not recite any Book before it, nor didst thou write one with thy right hand; in that case the liars would have doubted.

Please try to understand hadith or Quranic verses before saying anything because we would be accountable for whatever we say and do.

Read my post again, I never said he was a liar (Allah forbids). You are telling me to note that there is a difference between able to speak and being able to read having forgotten or might have not come across when the revelation when first given to the Prophet (saw). You may read this for additional knowledge:

Read in the name of your Lord Who created; Who created man from clots of blood. Read, for your Lord is most generous Who taught by the pen. He taught man what he did not know. Man indeed transgresses if he thinks himself a law unto himself, for to your Lord all things return.

How does the above relate to the issue being discussed? When Allah decree something, it would surely come to pass and mind, it is not now but when Dajjal comes.

a killer Jesus?, that would be going about on earth to kill people? is that Going to be his duty? how many people did he wants to go about killing? with guns/bombs/epidemics/earthquakes or what?  beware that's not the kind of Jesus the Quran & the holy prophet talked about!  unless he would never be able to accomplish his mission before he departs

You speak as if you are not a believer. How could someone be asking the above questions when his job would be to come and defeat the destroyer?

It seems you are trying to grasp at straw and you should know that those before him and after him fought and killed when confroting enemies and it is the job assigned to him by His creator and he is not accountable for that. The evil doers would perish along with Dajjal.

Jesus would not come as a prophet
are u the one who gave him Prophet hood at the first place that you want to take it back?
why is he not going to come as a prophet when the holy prophet described the coming Jesus as a prophet of God (hadith Muslim)?

Read for understanding brother. He is not coming as a special prophet this time or to the children of Israelbut would come as a FOLLOWER OF MUHAMMED (SAW). understood?

what research have you done that you are misinterpreting the statement of the Holy Prophet(saw)? don't you know that its this christian missionaries that are attributing divinity to Jesus Christ?

Oga, you should be ashamed of yourself. I have given you hadiths but you have been making denials with no proof to back your claim.

I have provided you hadiths in which you misinterpreted as  a result of lack of understanding or being myopial. I am not even surprised since you claimed that you would not be able to worship cos they would think you to be a disbeliever and you failed to tell why do not bury a non member

You have a very funny way of trying to prove yourself that Ahmadiyyah is on course.

You also claimed that Christianity is the Dajjal having forgotten that the Holy Prophet (saw) told us what, who Dajjal would be. Christianity has been in existence before the coming of the prophet and also met them doing same and he never for one day told His companions to beware of christianinity that it would be the Dajjal. Moreso, he allowed them worship in the mosque when they were being persecuted. He never for one day said christian would be the dajjal but said if they tell you anything, just tell them that you believed in Quran and Prophet Muhammed.

It seems you are getting confused with Judaism and christianity. Maybe you would remember when the Holy Prophet wanted to start his prophethood in the cave and it was a christian who told them to take care of him, that he would be a great person with great work and the prophet never said anything bad about them.

Even after his demise and his caliphs took over, christians existed and were never molested and there was a treaty covering them of freedm of religion.

In case, you do not know that there is a difference between a christian and jew, a jew does not believe in Messiah and other things and even laughed when you claimed that Dajjal is the christianity linking them to atrocities having forgotten that jews are the main terrorist and have been behind all forms of opression, killings, maimings etc

Now let me try to analyse your post:

You claimed that Jesus would not be coming again or would take another shape
You claimed that Dajjal is christianity
That Kaa Faa Raa is not real.

Now, Nobody saw Jesus' pics but the prophet gave the description of who he is, shape, height etc and we are not saying he would take the former shape or a new one but it is certain that he would come and would be the sign of the hour (sign of the day is a typographical as read in my earlier post). He would be the one to deafeat the dajjal. When he comes (Jesus), he would let people know that he is not God nor son of God, would destroy the cross and this would give those that wants to repent to do so.
Also you claimed that christianity is the dajjal having forgotten that Allah refers to them as the people of the book and never called them Dajjal. W

You also forgot that the Holy Prophet did not go to school but was able to read and that would be how the Believers would interpret whether the are literate or not. Also you should know that whether one goes to Arabic school or not, everybody would speak it on the day of judgement because it is heavenly language (christian's word cheesy) and that is how it would be on that Day whether literate or not.

Thousands of jews would follow, increases as he perform miracles and would spread mischief as he progresses but Jesus would come and kill him with is sword and his followers would be killed wherever they may be hiding and even the trees would speak and tell of their hiding. Jesus would not come as a prophet but as a follower of prophet Muhammed (saw)

You did not do your research well to know that the Dajjal would emerge between Shaam and Iraq, and his emergence will become known at Yahudea. He would claim to be God and punishes anybody that does not believein Him and would do many miracles to mislead many.

He will stay on this Earth for a period of forty days; the length of the first day will be one year, the second day will be equal to one month, the third day will be equal to a week and the remaining days will be normal.
He will be unable to enter Makkah because the Malaikah will be guarding the Holy City and nor will he be able to enter Madina because there will be Malaikah guarding each of the seven entrances to Madina; From Madina he will proceed towards Shaam where Imaam Mahdi will be stationed and I am sure you know that it is not happening yet but you claimed tha he is already in existence.

You claimed that being one-eyed is a lie but the Holy Prophet (saw) as reported by:

Ubadah ibn Saamit radiyallahu anhu narrates that the Last Prophet  (peace & blessings be upon him) said, ‘I have explained Dajjal to you, but I fear that you might not have understood. Maseeh-ud-Dajjal will be short and his legs will be crooked. The hair on his head will be extremely twisted. He will have one eye, while his other eye will be flat. It will be neither deep, nor protruding.’

It was also reported by

Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhuma narrates from the Last Prophet  (peace & blessings be upon him) regarding Dajjal, ‘…red complexioned, fat, curly haired man, blind in the right eye which looks like a bulging grape.’

I laugh at the twist u brought to this topic all good same.

You do not have to laugh at your dishonesty, you should read your response when I asked about the Gospel of Jesus which you avoided and asked me the gospel of Muhammed (saw)

The beauty of the bible is that the authors who wrote various account as perceived by them&with the inspiration from God. All gave similar accounts in different ways matt, mark, john etc who were disciples gave separate account pointing to same end. Chronicles&kings as well. U asked me to give definition of gospel,i did&if u were to give urs,it might not agree with mine.Yet doesnt say we are both wrong

I was even having a field day with you knowing fully well that you would shoot yourself in the leg for lack of knowledge.
Bible in case you do not know was compiled years after Jesus left the earth and was not aware of anything called the Bible. Also, God gave Jesus a revelation not revelations as we are having NT comprising 27 different books in which only Paul wrote majority given his own personal opinion on issues because Jesus was not allowed to say anything.

On the authors being under any inspiration, it is A BIG LIE, snd you would have seen from the contradictionss you could not respond to. Even your book of Timothy 3 v 16 said something like that but we have discovered it to be a lie and if you think I am not being factual, kindly explain those listed for me. The authors are not the real authors but wrote it according to what was handed to them as said by Luke which made us known that he never witnessed Jesus' ministry but handed to him. We could see lots of contradictions as a resulf of the fact that they did copy and paste and was never any under any inspiration.

BTW if the bible is not a good news(gospel) how come the muslim claims erroneously that john 14 was directed at mohammad? Babs

Oga, you could as well attempt the contradictions and when done, we would know if it is a good news or not. When done, we would also see lots of editting, re-editting, manipulations etc.

Thank you my good friend as you solve those contradictions.

1)what i mean is that according to the holy quran and hadith, Jesus Christ,(Isa ibn maryam) (as) is dead, the second coming does not mean that he is going to physically return to this worldly life, its a spiritual descent, which is going to occur in another person.

Firstly, you claimed that Christian is the Dajjal having forgotten that Christianity was in existence during the Holy Prophet's time and never said it would be the dajjal. Jesus would come pray and die a natural death because he didnt die in the first place, he would be the one to kill the Dajjal and that is why ALLAH said in the Quran that Jesus would be the sign of the day and there are narrations from authentic hadiths about his coming.

Besides, he gave description of who Dajjal would be and below are the Hadiths which you may call a lie if you so wish

Anas b. Malik(raa) reported that the Messenger of Allah(sAas) said: "Dajjal is blind of one eye and there is written between his eyes the word 'Kafr'. Then he spelled the word as K.F.R., which every Muslim would be able to read."

Hudhaifa(raa) reported that the Messenger of Allah(sAas) said: "Dajjal is blind of the left eye, with thick hair and there would be a garden and fire with him and his fire would be a garden and his garden would be fire." [Muslim]

'Uqba b. Amr Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari(raa) reported: "I went to Hudhaifa b. Yaman and said to him; "Narrate what you have heard from the Prophet(sAas) pertaining to the Dajjal." "He said that the Dijal would appear and there would be along with him water and fire and what the people would see as water that would be fire and that would burn and what would appear as fire that would be water and any one of you who would see that should plunge in that which he sees as fire for it would be sweet, pure water." and 'Uqba said; "I also heard it, testifying Hudhaifa."[Muslim]

Abu Huraira(raa) reported the Prophet(sAas) as saying: "May I not inform you about the Dajjal what no Apostle of Allah narrated to his people? He would be blind and he would bring along with him an image of Paradise and Hell-fire and I warn you as Nuh(Asws) warned his people." [Muslim]

2)i don't reject the hadith, i believe in what the hadith says. i still stand on my point on dajjal, cos its not against the hadith of Rasullulahi (saw).

You may read the above hadiths and deny and when done, you provide yours that says Jesus would not come in person and that Dajjal is Christianity.

3)try to understand this. you consider Ahmadis to be disbelievers and you still expect them to be observing prayers behind you, don't you know that the imam's believe is already different from that of his follower? *a believer& a non-believer*?

Brother, did you read that in my post? All I did was asked you simple questions:

Hold it, for an example, we all have missed Zuhr prayer and meet in the mosque, we make ablutions and because we want to reap the benefit of praying together, we all decide to pray together. Mind you, some are from Nasfat, Nawa-U-deen, TMC,MSSN, TYM,NACOMYO, etc. we would not be asking ourselves the group or societies each belongs, ours is to observe prayer and leave. So my dear Ahmadis, how would they know that you are one and have you ever been to a mosque and in the course of observing prayer, they asked you the group you belong?

and

LMAO. How would they know that you are one? For example, some groups, organisations have mosques where they pray and some of them indulge in Bidiah but that does not mean that I cant pray there or even worship with them. Mine is to observe my prayer but not to indulge in Bidiah.

It is not written on your forehead, your own is to go to a mosque, observe your prayer and go out.  Does that justify your being a true muslim?

I never called you that and it would be good if you could explain my re-poste.

(please lets be sincere in the process of quoting the believes of peoples, don't base it on hearsay, but try to find out about it. this is supposed to be the attitude of an average Muslim, cos this is what the quran teaches.)

Brother, I have never quoted anything differently but you have not been able to debunk all my claims with proof. I told you what your people say when my father died and other issues which you have not been able to debunk.

I would still wait for you rebuttal to my post especially on the hadiths.

I am grateful for your patience and with time, we would get to the root of it.

Maa Salam.

you better know what you are saying. You did not study Ahmadiyya properly except for what you hear you say, be careful!
we believe that Jesus had made his second coming. the Jesus who was sent to the children of isreal is dead and not alive.

Never mind, we would see if you know anything about it. From your response, do you mean that Jesus is not coming as said by different hadiths and Allah in the Quran?

DAJJAL (deceiver) we believe to be existing, because it nothing other than the present day Christianity, for they believe and preach a totally different thing from what Jesus taught them,e.g. atonement, ascension, redeemption, original sin e.t.c. All these theories are not supported by the Bible.

Really? Would you deny the hadiths if supplied?
You may read here about Dajjalhttp://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-41732.0.html

i purposely ignore your other questions.

It is because you have no response which shows you do not know about it.

I am highly flattered by your definition but please which gospel did Jesus preach? Better still, which Gospel did he use to preach?

For your information, the alleged authors are not the real authors hence contradictions in the accounts and if the gospel is really the accouns of life of Jesus as said by you below, kindly do justice to the accounts from differen authors:

from the OT:

When David defeated the King of Zobah, how many horsemen did he capture?
(a) One thousand and seven hundred (2 Samuel 8:4)
(b) Seven thousand (I Chronicles 18:4)
(a) Forty thousand (I Kings 4:26)
(b) Four thousand (2 chronicles 9:25)

From the NT:

Where was Jesus three days after his baptism?
After his baptism, the spirit immediately drove him out into the wilderness. And he was in the wilderness forty days , (Mark 1:12-13)
Next day after the baptism, Jesus selected two disciples. Second day: Jesus went to Galilee - two more disciples. Third day: Jesus was at a wedding feast in Cana in Galilee (see John 1:35; 1:43; 2:1-11)

Was baby Jesus life threatened in Jerusalem?
Yes, so Joseph fled with him to Egypt and stayed there until Herod died (Matthew 2:13 23)
No. The family fled nowhere. They calmly presented the child at the Jerusalem temple according to the Jewish customs and returned to Galilee (Luke 2:21-40)

Thank you as you solve 'gospel' of Jesus up.

As Salaam 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh,

Qur'an, Al-A'raf, Surah 7:29-35

Say: "My Lord hath commanded justice; and that ye set your whole selves (to Him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere as in His sight: such as He created you in the beginning, so shall ye return."

Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance.

O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters.

Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah, which He hath produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand.

Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge.

To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation).

O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you apostles from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.

Barka Jumuah.

I can see that you do not know about your group. Ahmadiyyah believe that Dajjal is not coming in person but that it is even in existence already. Your group said Poverty, war, injustice etc is dajjal.

Umar bin Khattab (ra) left to people 18 statements of wisdom:

1- When someone transgresses upon your rights (and in doing so disobeys Allah) the way to 'revenge' is to obey Allah in dealing with him. (use reason/rules instead of anger)

2- When something comes to you from your brother, accept it as something good, unless you have overwhelming evidence against it. (hush dhann- thinking good of people)

3- Don't take the word of a Muslim as ill. When there is a way of seeing it positively, take it that way. Find one good interpretation out of 10.

4- Avoid positions that will make others doubt you. (ie disobey Allah publicly, hang out with people who don't care, at all time and places)

5- Do not blame others. When you have a secret, its under your control, but when you tell someone else, that control is not yours anymore. People fall under different factors and pressures, so do not blame others.

6- Always take care of the brothers and sisters of truth. Be with them always. They will protect you. They are always a beautiful ornament. In good times you will have ease, and in time of difficulty, you will have protection and support.

7- Be strict and careful in choosing your friends.

8- Always be with the truth even against your own life.

9- Don't indulge in that which is meaningless. Every moment of our life is meaningful- use it to worship Allah subhanawat'ala

10- Don't ask about that which didn't happen. You already have enough to deal with, be practical, deal with immediate problems not the future of ghayb.

11- Don't ask for your need to be fulfilled from someone who wouldn't like your need to be fulfilled. Try to be self-sufficient as individuals and as an ummah, muslims of early generation were poor but didn't lower themselves. Always be with dignity.

12- Don't be neglectful or careless in swearing by the name of Allah. Otherwise, Allah will bring punishment for you.

13- Don't be in the company of fajaar (those who commit major sins openly and don't care) You WILL be affected. Your own behavior changes little by little. Be in the company of people who remind you of Allah.

14- Be aware of your enemy. Be careful, alert, and prepared.

15- Remember death. Visit the graveyards, try to be in kushuu'. If you can't cry, force yourself to. Try to be humble in front of the Creator, the One who gives life and takes it away.

16- Be HUMBLE in acts of obedience to Allah. No one will protect us but Allah. Seek protection from Allah in Allah.

17- Seek tawbaah. Immediately, be determined, have resolve.

18- Consult in your matters those who have kashiyaah (fear of Allah and always conscious of Him), because those who have kashiyaah are the ones that truly have ilm.

Ibraheen ibn Adham was approached by a man who wanted to stop his sins. He asked for advice that will help him realize the consequences of his actions. He was told:

If you want to disobey Allah, you can, in 5 cases:

1- If you want to disobey Allah, then don't eat from His rizq (provision.)

The man said: Then where am I to eat when every provision is from Allah?

Ibraheem said: O such a person! Is it honorable and good to disobey Allah, and eat from His provision?

The man said: give me the second one.

2- If you want to disobey Allah, then do not live on Allah's property.

The man said: Then where am I to live if not on Allah's property?

Ibraheem said: Is it good then, to eat from His provision, live on His property, and disobey Him?

The man said: Give me the third one.

3- If you want to disobey Allah, then disobey Him in a place where He will not see you.

The man said: How am I to do this when He not only sees what others see, but what is in the hearts?

Ibraheem said: o you such a person, how do you eat from His provision, live on His property, and disobey Him openly?

The man said: Give me the fourth one.

4- If you want to disobey Allah, when the Angel of Death comes to you, tell him to come back later, after you repent.

The man said: He will not accept this from me!

Ibraheem said: O you such a person, when you cannot delay death, how do you expect a savior?

The man said: Give me the fifth.

5- If you want to disobey Allah, then after death comes to you, on the Day of Judgement, when the Angels of Hell come to drag you into Hell, refuse to go with them.

The man said: They will not accept that from me!

Ibraheem said: Then how do you expect to be saved?

The man said: Enough! Enough! I seek forgiveness in Allah and make tawbaah! AstaghfirAllah wa i'tubuu ilayk!

He made sincere tawbaah, and left all his acts of disobedience, and he died in such a state.

Future of the Ummah

According to a report issued by The International Center for Population Studies, an affiliate of Al-Azhar University of Cairo, Egypt: Muslims are 23 per cent of the earth's population. Contrary to popular belief, there are over 170 million Muslims in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country. There are over 70 million Muslims in China and over 54 million in the former Soviet States. The majority of Muslims, the study said are youth and children. Children below five years old represent 43 per cent of the Muslim world! By the year 2020 CE, our population will be expected to reach 2.5 billion, Insha Allah. In Canada, startling statistical data has been released. One in three children born in Canadian hospitals today is from a Muslim family! What does this mean to us?

The future is bright for Muslims if we make the right choices today. We are blessed with amazing riches in the Muslim world. Over 40 per cent of the mineral wealth of the planet lies under Muslim countries. We have thousands of doctors, engineers, scientists and intellectuals. We spend billions in technology, especially for the military. But we still are humiliated and destroyed. We cannot wake up in the morning and forget Kashmir, Palestine, Bosnia, Chechnya, Algeria, Sudan, Kurdistan, Somalia and other parts of our Ummah. Almighty Allah has revealed at the end of Surah al-Hashr: O you who believe, have the consciousness of Allah and let every soul look to what it has put forward for tomorrow and fear Allah. Surely Allah is well aware of all that you do. And be not as those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Surely they are wrongdoers.

Nisayn (forgetfulness) is a state of mind. When the person forgets Allah, they are in a dangerous position. The path of Islam is clear, but who will take hold of Islam? Who will stand up and be true, sincere Muslims? Allah has also revealed in Surah Al-Balad: Did I not make for Man two eyes, a tongue and two lips? And did I not guide him to two Paths?

Tribalism will lead us to destruction. Divisions based on color, organization, schools of Islamic jurisprudence, will decimate our ranks. We need a new Islamic World order. People who put the Qur'an and the Sunnah above all things. We need people who do not see color or focus on language, do not scandalize other believers and struggle with each other for power, who are part of our society, but not controlled by un-Islamic culture, who do not resort to Unbelievers to judge between them in their courts, people who are not afraid to speak openly but do not attack individuals without just cause.

If we do not change our ways and return to the path of Islam, Allah has made a promise: In Surah al-Ma`idah, verse 54, He says: O you who believe. If any from among you turn back from his religion, soon Allah will produce a people whom He will love and they will love Him. They will be humble with the Believers and mighty against the Unbelievers. They will struggle in the path of Allah and not be afraid of the blame of those who find fault. That is grace of Allah which He gives to whom He pleases and Allah encompasses all and has knowledge of all things.

We ask Allah to forgive us all from every sin. Lets turn to Allah in repentance for surely He is the Oft Forgiving and the Most Merciful.

look you people regard us as disbelievers, so why then the need to worship behind a person whose ideology is different from mine? read sura Hashr,
. تحسبهم جميعا وقلوبهم شتى

Does that justify your being a true muslim?

what i meant was that we attend the funeral of non-ahmadis,

an ahmadi WOULD NOT allow a non-ahmadi to lead him, because our believe is different. he can allow if he realize that that non-member is not a kind of person that believes the Ahmadis to be Non-Muslims.

So my dear Ahmadis, how would they know that you are one and have you ever been to a mosque and in the course of observing prayer, they asked you the group you belong?

yes, i do believe in his second coming!

Good, but would he be the one to defeat Al-Dajjal or there would be no Al-Dajjal at all?

I am just taking it gradually so as not to litter this thread with questions cool
Islam for Muslims / Re: Like To Know About Ahmadiyya? by babs787(m): 6:50pm On Apr 26, 2010

1. Why is it that they don't pray with non Ghulam Ahmad followers?
its because they persecute we Ahmadis, and label us 'kafirs'(disbelievers). When you call some one a disbeliever(non-Muslim), why do you expect him yo come and offer his prayers behind you, why don't you go about alleging the Christians for not praying in your mosque?

I can see that you have no response hence your above response. How would a mosque know that you are a Ghulam Ahmad follower? It is not written on forehead, your own is to enter a mosque and observe your prayer. For example, I can go to any mosque without being questioned on the society or group that I belong? Every muslim is free to enter any muslim and observe his/her prayer therein without being challenged.

How would a particular member of a mosque know that you are Ahmadis?

2. Why is it that they bury or attend the funeral of a non-Ghulam Ahmad follower?

its a responsibility a Muslim owes to a fellow Muslim, so we observe it.

Wait, it was a typographical error and it further exposed your weakness. Where did you learn that you attend a funeral of a non Ahmadis? My father's case is a perfect example. When my father died, one of your members came to my brother and told him to his face that' I am sorry, we would have buried him if he was one of us as we do not bury a non Ahmadis'. My brother just laughed it off because we do not need it, he is a patron in MSSN.

The real question is why is that you dont attend the funeral of a non Ahmadis or why is that you do not bury a non Ahmadis

3. Why is it that they dont allow non member to lead them in prayers?

would the non-ahmadis allow an ahmadi to lead him?

Is that your reason? I need a response before i go further and when you respond, we will unveil what you do not even know about the two sects in Ahmadiyyah (the muslim Jamaah and Ahmadiyyah movement)

Do you believe in the second coming of JESUS, if not, why?

Are you back with your rhetoric questions? Reading the Bible from Mathew to Revelations should have convinced every body that what is contained therein refers to the life and times as well as the good news of the teachings of Christ, or are you now agreeing with my wife that the new testament was all about Mo?

I have no time for story telling. Where do I find the gospel of Jesus in the NT? I have been reading gospel according to this, to that but I have not seen 'gospel according to Jesus'

Are you referring to the contradicting accounts of that that did not witness his ministry and could be said to have written the gospels ascribed to them?

Do you mind me giving part you of the contradicting life and times?

As Salaam 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh,

Innal hamda lillaah, Was-Salaatu Was-Salaamu 'Alaarasoolillaah,

Authubillah Minash-Sheatanirrajeem Bissmillahi Rahmani Raheem,

Qur'an, Al-Jumu'a, Surah 62:1-11

Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah,- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered an apostle from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;-

As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: And He is exalted in Might, Wise.

Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty.

The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah. and Allah guides not people who do wrong.

Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!"

But never will they express their desire (for Death), because of the (deeds) their hands have sent on before them! and Allah knows well those that do wrong!

Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!"

O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!

And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah. and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper.

But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)."

Muslims We Are, But Why?

It is to be stated that Islam is the very nature of man. It is the religion and the Path chosen by Almighty Allah for him so as to gain happiness in this life and Paradise in the life-to-come. Sometimes, a question may raise in our minds, why are we Muslims? What are the very characteristics of this religion that has led us to choose it as a way of life? In what way Islam is better than other religions?

A True Muslim will cry proudly:

I'm a Muslim for all to see,

So very glad and proud to be.

Your temptations try to turn my head,

But I have chosen Islam instead.

Sure I am not like all the rest,

I don't eat pork, wear a mini dress.

I am special; I'm not the same,

My appearance is different, even my name.

My God gives me strength, He makes me strong,

He guides me right when I go wrong.

I am a Muslim for all to see,

Islam guides me wherever I be.”

“Islam is the rational choice for anyone who wishes to have a faith that does full justice to the demands of the three faculties of man: physical, intellectual and spiritual. Here is a concise listing of Islam’s unique features for which Islam is chosen as a way of life:

1 Islam is the only religion whose sources are authentically preserved and thus remains immaculately free of all human tampering and interpolations.

2. The Islamic scripture is free of mythical elements that are incongruous with modern man’s understanding of the world.

3. The Qur’an, the Islamic scripture, is fully compatible with the established facts of science; it clearly contains the signature of the author of the universe, as attested to by many objective seekers of truth, coming as they were from diverse religious and intellectual backgrounds. It also movingly records natural phenomena and enjoins the followers of the faith to respect and preserve nature and the creatures with whom we share the planet.

4. The Qur’an upholds the role of reason and equates those who fail to use their reason as being intellectually imbeciles; this is a far cry from the teachings of many religions which assume incompatibility of reason and revelation.

5. Islamic beliefs and practices are simple, natural and appeal to both reason and common sense.

6. In regards to most of the teachings of Islam, their benefits can be easily demonstrated by evidence of the human experience and by the objective observation of facts. Take for instance Islam’s ban of alcohol: statistics reveal that abstention from intoxicants alone could spare humanity from untold misery and suffering. The valuable resources squandered for intoxicants can alone solve all poverty related problems of the world. Add to this, the Islamic pillar of Zakah. If only the world’s rich were to part with 2.5 % of their excess wealth, humanity would have tackled the problem of poverty very easily.

7. Islam takes into account all of the Allah-given instincts and faculties of man/woman and therefore gives us a balanced program of life that caters to all of the basic needs of humans - physical, intellectual and spiritual, unlike many religions and ideologies which exaggerate one at the expense of the other.

8. Islam provides for us a living example of such a balanced role model in Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, whose life, unlike those of the great heroes and Prophets of other religions, is an open book easily accessible for anyone.

9. The Islamic story of creation is free of any of the consequences of the stigma of original sin which has weighed heavily in the consciousness of a large segment of humanity, often proving to be highly volatile, and resulting in hysterical explosions in both the individual and collective dimensions.

10.The Qur’an is anti-classical in its approach to knowledge, and stresses experiential knowledge, a fact which combines authentic science with authentic spirituality.

11.The Qur’an provides answers to questions that haunt every intelligent person, questions related to life after death, an area which is almost totally mysterious in other traditions.

12. Islamic teachings about the essential identity of human beings and its stress on human brotherhood can break the barriers separating humans from one another. This can save humanity from the dire consequences of nationalism and racism which tend to break up humanity artificially by creating and sustaining perpetual conflicts.

13. Islam promises us nothing but total freedom, liberation and bliss and the highest fulfillment and contentment that humans are capable of attaining.

14. Islamic history has provided us with a model society where justice, compassion, truth and transparency of justice were implemented at the human and natural levels.

15. Islam dispenses with all intermediaries between man and God and allows all humans to freely contact God, thus eliminating hierarchies and other sources of religious exploitation that has characterized religious history throughout the ages.”

These are some of the versions of the Tashahhud which are narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

1 – Ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught me the Tashahhud, holding my hand between his hands, just as he would teach me a Soorah from the Qur’aan:

‘At-tahiyyaatu Lillaahi wa’s-salawaatu wa’t-tayyibaat, as-salaamu ‘alayka ayyuha’n-Nabiyyu wa rahmat-Allaahi wa barakaatuhu. As-salaamu ‘alayna wa ‘alaa ‘ibaad-Illaah is-saaliheen. Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluhu'

(All compliments, prayers and pure words are due to Allaah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allaah and His blessings. Peace be upon us, and on the righteous slaves of Allaah. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).’

This was whilst he was among us, but after he was taken, we would say ‘as-salaam ‘ala’n-Nabi (peace be upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)).’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Isti’dhaan, 6265)

This is the soundest version of the wording of the Tashahhud according to the scholars. This should be said in the first Tashahhud, and in the second Tashahhud there should be added to it al-Salaah ‘ala’n-Nabi (sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)). Ibn al-Qayyim said: “It is prescribed for his ummah to send blessings upon him in the last Tashahhud.” (al-Salaah wa Hukm Taarikihaa, 1/284)

2 – The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Say: ‘Allaahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammadin kamaa salayta ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, wa baarik ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammadin kamaa baarakta ‘ala aali Ibraaheem fi’l-‘aalameen innaka Hameedun Majeed

Meaning: (O Allaah, send prayer upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon the family of Ibraaheem. And send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibraaheem among the nations; You are indeed Worthy of Praise, Full of Glory)’ – and the salaam is as you know.” (Narrated by Muslim, al-Salaah, 405)

According to Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid the Sunnah is to make du’aa’ (supplication) after the Tashahhud and before the tasleem (salaams).
