God will punish all the unfortunate idiots still supporting Tinubu because of tribalism, including the mod that banned me for one month because of my opposition to this government. 7 Likes 1 Share |

saint2ace:I have both set of devices and I wouldn't get the Nokia instead of the ZLT X25, and here are my reasons. 1. I like having some level of control over the 4G and 5G bands that are enabled or disabled on a router, and X25 allows me to do that, but the Nokia doesn't. I recently found out that Airtel now supports 4G band 7 in addition to band 3 and 8. Unfortunately, band 7 is poor in my location, and aggregating band 7 with any of the other 2 bands doesn't help, so I permanently disabled band 7. However, aggregation of band 3 and 8 seems to be better. Mind you Airtel service in my location is extremely poor, utterly frustrating. 2. I equally prefer having the control to choose the network type to use. I mean, 4G Only or 5G NSA Only. The Nokia doesn't have these options, but X25 does. Given how terrible Network is in my location, a single bar of 5G performs better than 4G. I found a spot in my house where there is a single bar of 5G, so I permanently kept the X25 there and left it on 5G NSA Only. Whereas keeping the Nokia receiver in same spot doesn't help. So, with the Nokia router, I'm helpless, but the X25 gives me the control I need to, at least, enjoy the service a little bit. 1 Like 1 Share |

saint2ace:Took me a while back then, but i figured it out. The Nokia receiver unit's bluetooth needs to be turned on, as the Nokia Wireless app connects to it via bluetooth, and by default, the receiver unit's bluetooth is off. So, while connected to the Nokia router, go to 192.168.1.1 and log into the interface, then go to the General tab and turn on the bluetooth. By the way, the password of the interface can be found on the sticker in the pack inside the receiver unit carton. 1 Like

Isn't this getting old already. Every year, same story. People come on here to tell you who you should support based on their own definition of entertainment. I mean, what you find entertaining might be utterly irritating to me. I must not like what you like, you must not like what I like. Go on and support your fave, while I do same. Why is that so difficult? 10 Likes |

bolakale30:Before you patronize any fiber service, ask your neighbors, those in same estate or neighborhood as you, who have been using the service, of their experience. No one from far can give you an accurate review of the service. The problem with most fiber providers in Nigeria is that they experience a lot of downtime, mostly as a result of cable cuts and damages, so unreliable. |

SourYoghurt:I am sorry I can't really help in that regard. The thing is, at the point of purchase, I will be asked to create an account for the kit. That's where the problem is. However, so many solutions have been proffered to you on this thread. Kindly use one of them. To the best of my knowledge, most debit cards work, even Opay physical card works, just make sure you go through the process using a computer and a chrome browser. |

shile4joy:Since most parts of Lagos have reached capacity, you may have to opt in for the Business plan, which costs 50k per month. The Business plan is same with Residential plan, but with the first 40GB being priority data. It's more expensive though. But first, make an attempt to onboard on the residential plan. If it tells you that your area has reached capacity, do not proceed to deposit. Simply onboard using the Business plan. |

So, there's virtually nothing we don't know about it. Visit this thread, which is just one of the Starlink threads on Nairaland. Read through the thread, you might get to understand somethings about Starlink. https://www.nairaland.com/7486765/spacex-starlink-internet-experience-lagos#119256443 I'm not going to enter an argument with you because you are obviously ignorant as to how Starlink works. 2 Likes |
