Kindly help with these questions, Gurus in the house.
Bambam4life:
Hello Everyone,

Please I need answer to this issue bothering me: My husband and I are in the EE pool. I am the principal applicant. For our POF, I have some money in my account and my husband also has some money in his account which we want to use as POF. To streamline the POF, should my husband transfer the money in his account to mine so that we will use my own account for the POF? If we do that, do we need a letter stating he has access to the fund in my account?

Thanks a lot as you answer my questions.

I really appreciate your response, @GraciousWords.
GraciousWords:

Your husband doesn't need to show he has access to your account - you are the primary account.

As primary applicant - your own account is fine for POF - it's when the POF is in his account (as dependent spouse) that you need to show you (the primary applicant) have access - not the other way round.

Thanks a lot, @braine.
braine:

Since you are the primary applicant and the money is in your account, that shouldn't be an issue.

However, if theres money in your husband's account that you need to include in your POF, he'd need to write a letter stating that he has access to the money in his account.

Good evening everyone,

Please a question about POF for express entry. My husband and I are in the pool and I'm the principal applicant. The POF is in my account and we DO NOT HAVE A JOINT ACCOUNT. How do I prove my husband has access to the fund in my account?

Hello Bambam4life,

Don't be bothered. During your travel, keep the updated e-Med slip in an accessible location to easily tender it if asked.

Best wishes!

Good afternoon all

My PPR has been granted since June (Timeline already given in Part 21). I'm scheduled to travel by August ending. However, my medicals will expire before I travel. I did another medical examination in June; after my PPR was granted and I sent the medical sheet to IRCC via webform since that June. Yet, it has not been updated on my portal and my Letter of Introduction still says the same thing.

What can I do, please? Can I be prevented from travelling because of this?

You can book one way, even on Egypt Air website. I booked one way about 2 weeks ago through wakanow.com Lagos to Toronto and another one way Toronto to Lagos through travelstart

Abeg, help.

@Philthomas, thanks a lot for your reply. Please see the circled rule that says amongst others "NO ONE WAY ON EGYPT AIR". What do you make of it? Can one still book one way? Looking for the cheapest flight and EgyptAir is it now.
Philthomas649:
please book one way

I AM COMING BACK WITH MY TIMELINE
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Bambam4life: 11:14am On Jun 03, 2022
My PPR Timeline

This was my second application. I first applied 11 April 2021 and was denied on 9 September 2021. So, I had to defer my admission to Fall, 2022. Upon refusal, a darling friend referred me to Nairaland and also put my through how to apply for GCMS. I had a lot of help while processing my reapplication and I'm grateful to everyone who helped.

Portal - New Portal
Reapplication - 21 April 2022
Eligibility and medical update- 4 May 2022
PPR - 3 June 2022 (6 weeks and 1 day)

Because I used the new portal and I had quite a lot of documents to submit, I had to make use of every column available. Therefore, I'm attaching screenshots of the documents I submitted and I how I made it easier for the VO to see those documents.

God, in His infinite mercy, will answer those awaiting their PPRs. Thank you.

Bambam4life:
It's PPPPPPRRRRR.

New portal. Applied 21 April 2022.

God be praised.

Will share my timeline shortly.

When I read people say they're shaking after receiving PPR, I used to wonder why. Now, I know why. Lol.

@imarrpopson, thanks a lot for your response. I'm grateful.

I paid via WU global pay. I didn't include the reference code, but I uploaded the form. The bank will go through it and act accordingly.
But, you can add it to the beneficiary account name in brackets.

Good morning, All.

Please those who paid tuition through GLOBAL PAY, where did you put your PAYMENT REFERENCE while filling FORM A? Global Pay's payment instructions say it is highly important to put the PAYMENT REFERENCE

Your responses will be very appreciated.

Thank you.

Abeg, someone should help with the answer to this question. Please.
Bambam4life:
Good morning, All.

A quick question, please: About 10 of us do this monthly contribution in my place of work such that everyone will send his/her own contribution (like 100k or 200k each) to the month's beneficiary. I have been a beneficiary of these monthly contributions 2 times this year. Do these contributions amount to lump sums that I have to declare in my SOP? I also did this contribution last year.
