Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Bamo2020(m): 11:53am On Aug 21, 2021
Good day gurus. I am back to for your counsels again. I and family have applied thrice for visitor's visa and denied all the three times.
Planning to apply again by December cos economic circumstances have changed.
I am a civil servant, earns 400k plus but after deductions, I get 230k per month(I spend less than 100k monthly) Also I get payments from agric investment on a monthly basis(150k), and bimonthly (450k). I get rent from my properties(though yet to get the c of o) too. Wifey is a civil servant too with a salary above 160k monthly after all deductions. Do you think we are good to go now?
N.B we belong to a travel club who take care of our accomodation.
Thanks as I await your counsels. Stay blessed

Good day pros in here. I need help and that's cos I and my family (wife& a son) have been denied almost thrice, the last was October 2020. I do not want a repeat of this. I am hoping we'd apply next year June or July, but I want to be well guided this time around. I am a civil servant, so is my wife and I earn 278K gross per month but my disposable income is about 131k per month. I have a registered company and invests in other businesses by the side (Agriculture), which gives me returns. what will you advise we do in other to get it this time around? Thanking you in anticipation and God bless.
Note: Accommodation will be taken of by a travel club we belong to, I have 3 bank accounts, salary, savings and biz accounts, have 3 properties, we live in one, the other is put for rent, while the last is being developed. And we have travel history to Dubai, S.A and Austria (for me)

Mehn all these calculations ‍♂️‍♂️for income and expenditure sha....

I just got my 2yrs from tls, I applied this month and got it yesterday.
I don’t really think all these are compulsory, I feel if you have enough income and what you intend to spend alongside property or investments documents youre good na. Even my letter (cos I run my firm) I didn’t explain anything money ‍♂️. Just told them I’m going for vacation and the kinda work I do. The form I filled my monthly expense and annual income.
I’m just wondering how all these calculations arise... but ten Weldone

It's really crazy but then what can one do than to abide by the rules. It's their country and they decide who comes in. Did my best to prove I am up to the game but they felt I was lieing. Will try again, cos I already promised my son. I work, earn about 287k, do biz too and got my properties. Same for wifey, yet they believe we ain't for real. No qualms, now. We'll try again but this time I will be relying on the experts in here to guide me. Thanks and cheers!

What was the reason for the refusal and have you tackle it??[/qu

The ECO felt the money in my accounts wasn't mine and available to me for the trip.
I will say yes because i got a raise in pay from 240k to 287k and after all deductions i get 135k.
so what do you gurus say?
N.B: Got a biz on the side plus two properties where i get rent and other investments.

Good day our great gurus in house.
Is it advisable to reapply after six months of being refused UK visa?

Bamo2020, i think they just need you to be coordinated and straightforward, you are lumping things up for the eco and i think they dont have that time to be thinking or assuming for you the way you package your application.

multiple account will surely give them problem (cut ot down to max of 2 but 1 account is better my own opinion though)

Also your cover letter can do the magic at times, simple and few sentences about the credit and debit is highly neccessary.

Carry gurus along on this platform also highly neccessary (IMO though).

I have this mentality of thinking locally (think like a tourist) when im applying for any VISA

e.g.
how much does average uk citizen spend per week (i plan my budget breakdown around the amount)

what is the average hotel cost that tourist go for in uk (i budget around the cost)

what is the average cost of tourist transportation in uk per week (i budget around the cost)

and the question goes on & on, after doing all ur calculation it might not be even up to 2x of ur Disposable income.

Best of luck in your next application, It will be + IJN.

Thanks bro, God bless you.
N.B: "more coordinated" I agree. Straightforward, I am honestly. Anyways I agree I should have simplified things.

Thank you!!! God bless you. I told him explicitly then. I dont understand what to say now again.
However your advice is spot on. I second.

Then he should take a trip as a family to another country. The ECO sees them as desperate right now. If they are truly in desire of a family vacation, they should go to another country as a family and then come back to apply to the UK whilst taking the above advice from the 2 ppl who commented.
It will help alot in their case.

I appreciate you gurus. We have traveled to two locations, S.A and Dubai as a family and we came back.
Nonetheless, I will keep to all your advised when next we are applying. Maybe before we even apply I will display all we r presenting here for proper scrutiny.
God bless you all.
Note: we are not desperate ooooo
