Politics / Congratulations: Aba Geometric Power & Mauduguri NEPA by banku: 5:14pm On Feb 28 |
There are many privileged places throughout Nigeria enjoying 24 hours power, even in sported area of all capital cities. But we have turned Aba Geometric Power into a miracle from god. Please encourage more throughout Nigeria especially from the universities' Solar Power. Please not beat your chest to death with audio noise. Residents of Maiduguri, Borno state capital, have complained about the 24-hour electricity supply provided by Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC). Speaking to NAN on Tuesday, they described the 24-hour supply as a waste, saying it has caused “outrageous billings”. Ibrahim Suleiman, a resident at who lives in Bolori Layout, appealed to the YEDC to reduce the supply of electricity. “YEDC should go back to the former supply system where electricity was supplied for 12 hours and not 24 hours recently being enjoyed,” he said. https://www.thecable.ng/extra-borno-residents-protest-24-hour-electricity-supply/amp |
Politics / Re: Dollar Is Falling, Naira Is Rising, And The People That Update Us Are In Coma by banku: 3:03pm On Feb 28 |
Far too early to celebrate yeyebrity. The Government is taking reasonable measures of deterrent but long term solution is to discourage junk imports and stop liberal market no country in the world practices. Dollar is like a yoyo big mouse eating your toes and blowing it for comfort at the same time. When did we even get used to one dollar to 500 not to mention one thousand. abc115: 1 Like 2 Shares |

Op, what in the world makes you think the things you complain of in Nigeria do not happen where you are going? The lack of power and electricity is probably the worst in Nigeria making everything else worse. But Nigerians that Japa are too ashamed to tell you that proportionally, foreigners in these overseas countries make up a higher percentage of the poor. Yes, a poor foreigner overseas is a naira millionaire in Nigeria. Many Europeans and Americans live from one paycheck to another. If they miss more than one paycheck in a month, they become homeless and go on welfare, food stamps, food pantries as was televised worldwide on tv. during Covid-19. Would you tell Nigerians if you were homeless until you freeze to death? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Sounds like natural food like yam, Gari, plantain, banana, corn and other local foods is the way to go. It will increase production and self dependency sending adulterated tastes and foods crashing. Think about the advantages of sending the importers of junks, foods, toothpicks, plastics etc a message. More important, less pressure on naira to dollars. Anyone, family, state or importers spending or throwing money out than they export is a saboteur. |

Politics / Re: Now That Aba Is About To Have 24/7 Electricity... by banku: 2:23pm On Feb 23 |
Nnaji should be respected for his intellectual pursuit of energy since he was a Minister. It was unfortunate that he left based on conflict of interest. Let us face it, profit is a viable encouragement for success. What should be discouraged is excessive greed like gambling to defraud others we saw in Boesky and Milken on Wall Street. Nnaji is different. He had a Mission and I am glad he was supported by Nigeria Power Holding Co. The irony here is that it was this same Tinubu that fought Obasanjo for Independent Power Partnership. The individual Gas powered and distribution worked well in Kwara then. But Nnaji have to watch out. Those without contributions but privileged will force a stake in this project. Ask Bronson about how he got fed up with Nigerian/Atlantic Airline. Respect to Nnaji. 3 Likes |

Travel / Re: Why Don't You Want To Jappa Despite The Condition Of Things?? by banku: 4:05pm On Feb 17 |
Your deep inferiority complex and resignation to second class citizenship are the same reasons you desert your village to where you and people like you call the land you escape to derogatory names. People like you claim you do it for your family especially your children. Since you have no culture you appreciate or any Value System in your culture, you live for the day and worship money for happiness. At the end of the day, your dual citizenship will not benefit you personally or your family. Your children will ridicule you and your culture the way you did. Even worse you will never gain anything from your investment on them.. Those children and your wife would ignore or desert you in your own house because your adopted culture and country give you no respect at home.. Enjoy your misery as you get older. An agent hustling for money pushing others to disaster. online4business: 1 Like |

It is hard to pull children away from American candy stores. It is like opium for drug addicts. Tell them to go cold turkey, they cry like children and bark like dogs about destroying the economy of junks and used goods importers. Blame everything else but themselves. Do you know of any country abroad where foreign graduates are preferred to local graduates as in Nigeria? |
Politics / Re: Very happy because Nigerian are suffering by banku: 2:25pm On Feb 15 |
Op, you are so naive and brainwashed, yet passing as "civilized climes". Not even a country as bad as Nigeria would elect Trump by popular votes or Electoral votes. Farrakhan told Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes a long time ago: America is the most corrupt country in the world. This was before they were exposed by Trump. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigerians cry of high cost of goods and materials in the Country AND then smuggle the same goods across the border to make higher profit by selling the same at higher prices. It is happening to RICE It is happening to PETROL Even GARI, YAM, PLANTAINS ETC The same is true with Billionaires without plants, factories or exports BUT PRIVILEGED to be called for DOLLARS and EUROS Roundtripping at the Black Market. Why do we live to sabotage our country and one another? 1 Like |
