Politics / Re: Raji Fashola As The President Come 2011! by Bariga1(f): 2:01pm On Jun 11, 2009
The problem is that we know the truth but we keep chasing our shadow. Has Fashola finished turning Lagos into a Mega City? I will admit that while in Lagos last month I notice some positive changes, but has he done enough in Lagos State to be branded the “messiah” for Nigeria ? We need to be talking about how this Governor will get a second term ticket in Lagos State, because some people are not happy with the positive changes taking place in Lagos State and he is not in his “godfather’s” good books.

My humble opinion is that Nigeria either needs a revolution (we start all over again because we have missed the plot this time), a set of conscientious young military boys who will kill all those past leaders and imbibe fear of breaking the law into Nigerians (they must be people who are ready to kill their own family if that is what it takes) or the colonial masters comes back and rule us again. It might sound crude!!!! But it is the truth, we are not ready for DEMOCRACY YET, people see it as an easy way to make money.

Within the last ten years, has things become better or worse for the common man? Nigerians are currently hoping against hope that God will change things and the churches are helping them pander to such madness.

Why is it that when Nigerians come over here in London, they are able to build their career and contribute to the economy? What happened to the former EFCC Chairman that was fingering thieves in high places? Do you think that people get to power because of their intellect and ability to rule? Na yam to become president for Nigeria? What happened to the lady of dignity who came to take the post of finance minister?

Regardless of who is president, the problem will still continue because the few people ruling the country have created a structure for themselves which first needs to be broken down before the country can move forward.

Ten years time we will still be talking no action if none of my recommendations are taken on board.

I rest my case!!!!

Pennywise please stop,

I am rolling on the floor laughing over here. You are absolutely right and if the man is innocent let him prove it to us.

On this note I think we should close this case. I will watch out for your words of wisdom Pennywise everywhere on the site.

you can fool some of the people all the time, all the people some of the time but you can not fool all the people all the time.

We are try to rescue the bartered image of Nigerians abroad and look at what this man is doing to his own brothers?

Yoruba’s will say he has thrown a stone into his own house!!!!

God Bless!!!

Hello Pennywise,

you made my day with those comments!!!

Is there a way that such people can be stopped from using this site? or put a beware sign next to their name?

I am proud to be Nigerian for the first time, I am delighted about the way we have all spoken with one voice. Please can we all keep up this sprite. For the first time, we are our brothers keeper.

419's have no reason to be here. This site is for serious minded Nigerians who want to sell or buy.

As for the car, he should go sell to his parents!!!!!
Properties / Re: Lagos N50m by Bariga1(f): 8:32pm On May 31, 2009
Is it my eyes, but I can see a plank holding the structure in front and you want to sell for 50 million? Seems as if the house is sinking. Might be the way the picture was taken. But based on the rent, there is no economic efficacy in buying the house if it is buy to Let investment. But the property would suit someone that wants to live in it. That is my humble opinion, maybe because I do not live in Nigeria!!!!
Politics / Re: Niger Delta Predictions Fulfilling by Bariga1(f): 9:54am On May 31, 2009
Thank you blackstar you took the words out of my mouth, if you are passionate about something you subscribe to it.

Nigerians need to stop listing to cheap propaganda out of the creeks.

Did anyone know that there are oil refineries at the backyards of some people in that area?

That explains for why most of these boys have more sophisticated weapons than the army.

The boy that says his mother will not sleep, surely has decided to give up his/her own sleep.

Maybe I am thick, can someone please explain the usefulness of the Oba’s and traditional rulers in these areas? Or are they there for the money?

No one supports the government who has stolen and wasted resources got from these areas, but two wrongs do not make a right.

Nigerians, please let us speak with one voice: how many youth leaders have we seen on television? This has now become a full time job!!! I
