Foreign Affairs / Re: Is Africa Still A Colony Of Europe? by bashem: 5:40am On Apr 09, 2011 |
pleep: I would have to agree with both of ya'll on this. I believe that the chinese are negotiating with us as equal business partners rather then just negotiating lopsided deals, and I believe that they have no il intentions toward their african counter parts when it comes to business. But at the same time we can't rely soley on the chinese to help us build a strong africa. If we want a strong africa we should ditch the west, stay close to the east, but rely on ourselves. Only then will we no longer be considered a colony of europe. |

Ghadaffi is an african hero, revolutionary if you will, the same can be said about mugabe. You let a revolution take out ghadaffi or mugabe and in comes western puppet dictators ready to bend over backwards for European countries. The sooner you brainwashed shit tards who are calling for them to be desposed can realize that shit, the sooner africa will be able to lift itself out of poverty and regain its glory. |

If Ecomog invades Cote d' voire over a political stalemate that has occured it would be the first time in recorded history that a country has invaded another country because the leaders failed to solve a political crisis. This situation could be likened to the fraudalent elections in the US between bush and al gore in 2000. Imagine if Mexico and Canada gave bush an ultimatum 'either you give up power to al gore or we will invade you' this is the same situation, the only difference is it involves african countries. When it comes to the situation in cote d' voire you have to ask yourselves several of questions. Why does the west insist that gbagbo be forced out of power even though the voting process had several irregularites? Why was the west and the U.N. so quick to declare quattara the winner without investigating the claims of mass vote rigging in the north? What exactlly is the U.N., and does it have any credibility when it comes to holding a neutral position on political issues? Who is quattara and where did he come from? And lastly, who benefits from an ousted Gbagbo? My fellow africans it's time for us to cut the leashes off and develope the ability to think independently. If france would like their puppet installed, then let them risk their own soldiers lives to do so, but for my fellow africans, do not be engaged in a war in which you have nothing to gain and thousands of african lives to lose. |
