@BayourC, I'm really sorry your application got refused. I'm sure you will be asking yourself if these people that got their VISAs on the first or second attempt did anything special. They did nothing special my brother, they only presented a good application and also had grace. Most importantly, it was their time. We all have different times and never should you compare yourself to others. It really hurts, I was there more than twice. So cry if you want to but allow yourself to heal. Take a break from nairaland if need be and relax. Review the documents you submitted for the previous applications and check them against why your application was refused. I'm sure you don't want to miss out on this great place because Canada is a great place to be. Victorious people don't just quit, they keep striving till they win. A lot of people were denied twice, thrice etc. I know of someone that was denied six times. He never gave up. He is currently in Canada and will be getting his PR after getting his masters.

A lot of people have is easy in life while some others have to really work hard to achieve greatness. But a wise man ones said that "Ease is a greater threat to progress than Hardship". If you fall down two times, get up the third time and if you fall again, get up the fourth time. Keep moving till you get there. One question you should ask yourself is where do you want to be in the next 5 to10 years? Do you think you can achieve your dreams in Nigeria? if your answer is yes, my brother your a free to move on but if the answer is no, you have to try again.

If you have a BSC and good work experience please avoid PGD/PGC, it's a red flag. Try get a masters admission

Wish you the very best. This is for everyone that have been denial TRV, it will surely end in praise.

Regards
. @Newman1010 Thanks! I really appreciate your time writing those words of motivation to me and others that got denied. I don’t think the VO’s check the application right but who am I to question them. I paid tuition for a year and I’ve been to 8 countries which I never extended my stay for once. That should be enough reason to know I won’t stay back after studies in canada lol. God knows best. Will follow your advice and reapply in January. Thanks a lot

Good day, I’ve been silent reader for more than a year now, but had to register so I comment on this. I submitted same day with no appointment. I guess all that matters is your approach towards the guy giving out numbers. I came in late around 1:50 pm and still got to submit my application.

Anyone who wants to try should follow the advise of a Nairalander who submitted his application the same day he went to VFS without prior booking. We never know what can happen once you allowed into the building, just go early 5:30am as the person suggested. Instead of risking ones life and time to Abuja except you have another mission enroute Abuja. Was at VFS last week and I forgot my passport but they still allowed me to complete my biometrics, though I was asked at every point where my original passport was!!! The crowd there wasn't abnormal and I was number 71 got there around 9:30am. Spent like 1hr, 25mins.

Remember the early bird gets the worm, and the second mouse gets the cheese. If you being queried you can chip it in that your resumption time cannot beat the wait time
