Politics / Tolerance Becoming Crime By Dr Chinedu Akabuike by BAZETU12: 7:53am On Jun 18, 2019
1. Why do we hate Tinubu? What for?

2. Tinubu never worked with federal or Eastern Nigeria let alone stealing money from Ndi Igbo.
He never worked as Minister or taken any Federal Appointment!

3. He never joined APGA let alone sabotaging our Party's interest?

4. Tinubu didn't meddle in Igbo internal affairs either!

5. Why do we call him thief? What did he steal?

6. We call Yoruba "slaves". We never reflect on what it means to be slaves in the true sense of the word.

7. We are putting mouth in Lagos politics without caution, yet we have a proverb that says it is the foolish housefly that follows the corpse into the grave.

8. Can Yoruba man become an Association or Local Government Chairman in the East? Let us be sincere with ourselves. Yet we enjoy all these privileges here including Assembly Membership!

9. Why asking for what we can't give?

10. We are here helping the "slaves" to develop their land. Who then is a slave?

10b. You call their city a no man's land so that we can further be enslaved slaving to develop it, and our generations are wasted gloating over mere privileges. Who is a slave. Do we actually think?

11. Can Yoruba tell Okorocha "o to gee" in Owerri? He doesn't even need it. He is too intelligent to die for a pot of ofe manu or nothing.

12. After the civil war, for many of us who were old enough to have witnessed it, the Yoruba were the first to open their arms to receive and accept us as we were, crude savages in search for means of survival. It was regardless of what we equally did to them before and during the civil war. No party to the civil war was innocent! I also remember not paying any rent among Yoruba guys without a penny for my first 3years in Lagos and another 2 years in Ibadan.

13. Can we survive Yoruba attack in Yoruba land if they actually mean to? Will an Mbaise man cooperate with the Nsukka or Afikpo, or the Imo with Anambara?

14. If we all decide to relocate at once, Babangida send me home phenomena is still in the memory of some of us who survived the incessant and uncontrollable spate of robbery across the Onitsha bridge. How many people will want to go in spide of our empty pride?

15. If Yoruba people are as foolish as we foolishly think, why agitating? How will agitating be to our benefit?

16. Why not "O to gee" in Abia, Enugu or Owerri?

17. Can a man from Aba become a Commissioner or P.S. in Enugu State Civil Service? Yet it happened here! Why not be careful.

18. We adopted APGA and but "wisely" voted PDP. How was Tinubu our headache. Was he the cause of our downfall? Why always blame others for our inabilities and want to take glory for any small thing we think we have done well and even overblow it?

19. We claim we were so creative during the civil war. Now history. We also claim every made in Nigeria is from Aba. But go to Oyo and Oshogbo to see what "lazy" mechanics are doing quietly in the automobile industry, yet we make noise that other ethnics are either mumu or lazy except we (alagbara ma mero baba ole; the most hardworking humans who cannot develop their own land unfortunately).

20. Why looking for avoidable problem? Why?

21. It was you in the North being attacked, in Malaysia being killed, in Gabon and Ghana being molested. 99.9% of Nigerians killed in South Africa are of Igbo extraction, and sometimes by fellow 'hardworking' Igbo. Why?

22. We choose Kanu and he dictates to us without consultation with any one of us. They choose Tinubu who becomes a hero among them by bowing to or adopting the choice of their majority. Why are we angry?

We choose Azikwe and they choose Awolowo. How are they more mumuish followers than ourselves?
Zik became a president and we gained from it, Awo was only a premier, but we are only struggling to beat their records in all ramifications including education till today. How are they mumus?

We choose APGA and they choose APC, why agitating?
Yoruba are yet to say Tinubu is their problem why do we want to die for nothing?
Why working in APGA but planning to collect salaries in APC?

I pray for the success of Biafra, but do we still remember that as Igbo we will automatically become foreigners on the streets of the Lagos we call a no Man's land?

How many of us will actually want to relocate home, should Biafra actualises or if if citizenship is on the condition that you relinquish all other citizenship in Africa? I leave that answer to the individual.

Nwayo nwayo biko unu.

Politics / Re: Tinubu, El-rufai Lock Horns Over Ngf Chair by BAZETU12: 12:11pm On May 09, 2019
The source said: “Yes, Governor El-Rufai is unhappy with the interference of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the leadership process of the Governors’ Forum.
“While he is desirous of succeeding Governor Yari of Zamfara, Tinubu is disposed to having Fayemi occupy the position.
“I think it all centres on the 2023 presidency. Though both of them have not come out in the open to admit it, it is widely believed that both men are working underground on how to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, and they believe whoever occupies the position of the Governors’ Forum will have a key role to play.
“Most especially, El-Rufai believes that occupying the position will greatly increase his influence politically and as such is unhappy with the way Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos, is meddling in the process.”
Reacting to El-Rufai’s statement on Tuesday, Joe Igbokwe, publicity secretary of the APC in Lagos, noted that Lagos was not Kaduna where El-Rufai ended the dominance of godfathers.
He also said anyone who wanted to achieve Tinubu’s status in Nigerian politics must work hard and do less talking.
“That was what happened; he was making reference to Asiwaju Tinubu. The person that threw up the question is Muiz Banire, and you know the relationship between Banire and Asiwaju.
“But Lagos is not Kaduna. I have an article that I just wrote titled, ‘If You Want To Be Like Asiwaju, Go And Work’. I will make it available to you shortly.”
The article by Igbokwe reads: “They want to be like Asiwaju, they want to command respect, they want the world to accept them the way they have accepted Asiwaju, they want to get great followers like Asiwaju BAT, they want to be admired the way people admire Asiwaju, they want the people to love them the way they love Asiwaju, they want to stand tall anywhere they go like Asiwaju, they want to attract attention like Asiwaju, they want to be celebrated and honored like Asiwaju, they want to be worshiped the way Asiwaju’s great followers worship him, they want to be lifted up the way God has lifted Asiwaju up, they want to be noticed like Asiwaju, they want to stand out like Asiwaju and they want to influence decisions at all levels like Asiwaju, etc.
“But in actions and deeds they are not like Asiwaju. In character and in tolerance they are not like Asiwaju. In commitment and hard work they are not like BAT.
“In grace and empathy they are not like BAT. In temperament and love for humanity they are not like Asiwaju. They cannot surrender their home to the people the way BAT has been doing. They cannot fight for others the way BAT does.
“They cannot deny themselves freedom for the sake of others the way BAT does. They cannot stand for the ordinary people the way Asiwaju does. They cannot be trusted the way we trust BAT.
“They cannot give the way BAT does. They cannot sacrifice what BAT has sacrificed for humanity for close to 40 years. They cannot live for others the way the way Asiwaju has done for years. I can go on and on but he who must lead others must first lead himself.”

Politics / Tinubu, El-rufai Lock Horns Over Ngf Chair by BAZETU12: 12:10pm On May 09, 2019
The battle for President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023 is already causing ripples in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, national leader of the party, and Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State are at loggerheads over who takes over as the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Both men are rumoured to be nursing the ambition of succeeding President Buhari in 2023.
El-Rufai, at the weekend, had taken a swipe at Tinubu’s dominance of the political structure in Lagos State, saying it was time to end godfatherism in the state just as he ended it in Kaduna State.
To free Lagos from Tinubu’s grip, El-Rufai said, one of the best ways is to start the campaign now by embarking on a study to understand why five million out of the six million voters in Lagos State did not vote.
“Here in Lagos, you have over six million registered voters, only about a million voted (in 2019 general elections); five million did not vote. If I want to run for governor of Lagos, I will start now.
“I will commission a study to know why those five million registered voters did not vote; where do they go on election day?
“Then I will start visiting them for the next four years. I will try and get just two million of them to come and vote for me; I will defeat any godfather. The key is to go to the people.
“The card reader and the biometric register have given us the tools to connect directly with the people. I assure you if you do that for the next four years, connecting with the people; the tin godfather, you will retire him or her permanently. But it is hard work; it requires three to four years of hard work. So, if you want to run in 2023, you should start now.”
Speaking with our correspondent on Tuesday, a member of the APC’s National Working Committee (NWC) said El-Rufai was embittered with Tinubu for interfering in the process of who becomes the next chairman of the Governors’ Forum, a position currently occupied by Abdulaziz Yari, outgoing governor of Zamfara State.
While El-Rufai is lobbying to succeed Yari, thinking the position would further help him in realising his presidential ambition, Tinubu is angling for Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on the basis that Fayemi, who was first sworn in in October 2010 is the most senior among the governors.
Politics / "TINUBU Is Backing Lawan & Gbaja Because Of 2023"-SARAKI by BAZETU12: 7:29pm On Apr 22, 2019
LOL, fool. When ATIKU backed you and Dogara because of 2019, what's the outcome? Since when has Senate President and Speaker become the decider of a Presidential Choice Sell your nonsense to the hypocrites.....But when Tinubu supported Lawan and Gbaja in 2015, did he want to remove PMB in in 2019? It is you MESU, a glaring disaster that he was trying to prevent and he was right about you. You almost destroyed the party but the people destroyed you. Tinubu is making frantic efforts to ensure that the sun of a disaster like you doesn't rise twice in one day!
Every sensible person knows that the ONLY reason we Buharists support Lawan and Gbaja is because we don't want a NASS that will make it difficult or impossible for PMB to perform and thereafter turn around to accuse PMB of not delivering on his promises and join forces with enemies to destroy the party!

“Records show that 75% of robbery cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 85% of ritual cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 60% of drug cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 70% of fraud cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 90% of pirated CD cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 60% of fake and adulterated drugs in Lagos that have killed thousands of Lagosians are carried out by Igbos, in fact, most of the crimes in Lagos are connected to the Igbos, so how have the Igbos developed Lagos when they can't get their hands off crime?
“There's no Igbo man among the top three richest people in Nigeria, so how are they successful?
“The truth is that Igbos should be grateful that the Yorubas accommodated them in Lagos peacefully, they shouldn't take the meekness and kindness of the Yorubas for granted.
“Igbos didn't make Lagos but it is actually Lagos that made Igbos.”
This is my Lagos story: true Lagosian, proud Lagosian.

think on these......
“As far as I am concerned, PZ, COCA-COLA, 7UP, CADBURY, MTN, ZAIN, GLO, ETISALAT, DANGOTE, SHOP-RITE, GOLDEN PENNY, FLOUR MILL, INDOMIE, UNILEVER, P&G, CHI LIMITED, GUINNESS, NIGERIA BREWERIES, OANDO, CONOIL, TOTAL, MOBIL, CHEVRON, SHELL, KFC, AQUADANA, EKO HOTEL, INTER CONTINENTAL HOTEL, PROTEA HOTEL, JULIUS BERGER, RCC CONSTRUCTION, NESTLE, KPMG, GSK, FRIESLAND FOODS, WAMCO, BRITISH AMERICA TOBACCO, SCHLUMBEGER, AIT, SILVERBIRD TV, CHANNELS TV, LARFARGE, etc are not owned by the Igbos. These companies are what attracted millions of people to Lagos.
“Igbos shouldn't lay claim that they developed a place by becoming nuisances. Most of the top Churches in Lagos are not also owned by Igbos. House on the Rock, Redeemed Christian Church of Christ, Christ Embassy, Deeper Life, Living Faith, MFM, etc are not owned by Igbos. The only Church that's reasonably big and is owned by an Igbo man is TREM, while another Igbo Church, Lord Chosen Church, encourages nuisance in Lagos and it also doubles as the dirtiest Church in Lagos.
Politics / Most Igbos Say They Are The People That Developed Lagos Today by BAZETU12: 7:34am On Mar 03, 2019
“Most Igbos say they are the people that developed Lagos and made Lagos what it is today. They say without Igbos, Lagos is finished. And I keep wondering how have Igbos helped in shaping and developing Lagos?
“Lets get the fact right, Igbos didn't develop Lagos rather, it is Lagos that shaped and made the Igbos what they are today. Without Igbos in Lagos, Lagos will remain Lagos and without Lagos, most Igbos may likely be nothing.
“Reason for my assertion is that most giant and top companies that attract millions of people across the country to Lagos are not owned by the Igbos so, how have Igbos shaped and developed Lagos?
“These are the achievements and economic advancement Igbos gave Lagos and Lagosians; Tokunbo and Fake Spare Parts at Ladipo Market, China Electronics and Pirated CDs at Alaba Market, Bend-Down and Select Clothes at Idumota, Yaba and Kotangowa Markets, Chinese and Tokunbo Computer/Phones and Accessories at Computer Village Ikeja are Igbos economical achievements and contributions to Lagos. In fact, most Igbos are causing nuisances in Lagos. A visit to these markets will tell you the amount of nuisances that Most Igbos have caused in Lagos. The environments these Igbo traders are mostly populated are always polluted with waste of all sorts, they are dirty, stinking, rough, erect illegal shops on the roads, on pipeline and railway lines indiscriminately in these market places that cause traffic gridlocks and other dangerous situations and when Lagos State Government dismantles these illegal shops, they get angry. If Lagos State Government closes their shops for environmental violations, they pick offence. How then have the Igbos developed Lagos?..
Politics / The Lust By IPOB For Lagos Didn't Start Today. by BAZETU12: 11:13am On Mar 01, 2019
The lust by IPOB for Lagos didn't start today. For Example Ojukwu said he wanted Biafra, Awolowo was quiet. Awolowo didn't join the war until Ojukwu started extending his Biafra from Asaba to Benin, and then from Benin to Ore, then Awolowo took position and said NO. It was in Ore that we nipped the ambition of Ojukwu to capture SW in the bud!!! At every election season, this affliction always attempt to rise again, however, it always ends in futility, it only makes the SW to be wary that the hateful ambition of our guests is still in their hearts.....
My respect goes to Igbos who respect themselves but those Biafrans who are insensitive and without decorum, talks anyhow to their host will have themselves to be blamed.
LAGOS is SW, SW is LAGOS. If you wanted one more state for your PDP, Buhari will give SE one more state to make six. Stay away from SW's internal democracy!!!!

Even in his den of touts, Aregbesola, Amaechi, Oshiomole confronted him and dared his touts.......
"VOTE WHOEVER YOU WANT"....lol, that is the statement many political amateurs are killing PMB for. In 2015, CNN's Christian Amanpour asked GMB about one General who GMB thought was not supporting him, PMB said "anyone is free to vote whoever he wants, Nigerians will decide the ultimate winner".......Occasion like that of yesterday warranted what the President did. Even at that, he was not spared by those touts who threw pure water satchet on the stage, the worst form of touting in Nigeria. Here, is a man who did not help his in-law get Adamawa Ticket, a man who allowed the Party to be independent, who degraded the powers of those who think they can reduce their leader and mock him. In their wildest imagination, they never thought PMB and JAGABAN will still be friends today.....That is why they have practically run insane! Their insanity shall be permanent. PMB spoke to the touting crowd of Amosun yesterday, he is coming back to address the APC Rally in Ogun State after the sTAURDAY'S election.
Here is my projection for Next Staurday's poll, PMB will win landslide!!!
Good Moring and God bless only the Progressives

Those ingrates grew at first, they looked unstoppable and some people began to see them as future leaders, they're getting patronage at the 100% expense of their benefactor until one day, when PMB, having taken them to the last floor of a 200 storey building pushed them down himself and restored Jagaban to his rightful place. PMB had earlier agreed to extend the tenure of John Oyegun who the Amosun and Mesu of this world were using to destroy the APC, Tinubu and PMB himself but after 2 weeks of this decision,PMB reversed it, got John Oyegun retired at the expiration of his tenure, brought Oshiomole another Jagaban's Influence, into office, in the process, another prominent traitor Banire became history and was replaced. This made MESU and Amosun described PMB as Lagos stooge, as seen from MESU's excuse for returning to the PDP. Amosun was frustrated and his ego bruised!!! I thank PMB for this action, God will bless him abundantly. However, while Mesu left, Amosun his late night friend and ally stays because of his friends in the SW who may not follow him to perdition and also, to see if PMB can still be re-manipulated to do his bidding his desire to bring down Jagaban which, in his myopic view, will enhance his 2023 Presidential ambition...lol.
Again, Primaries were held to choose Next Governors, Amosun wrote the names of those he wants for all positions including those that will be Commissioners after election, unfortunately, he banked on his usual PMB support which never came, the party chose another candidates! Let me tell you one thing today, if PMB wanted to do Amosun bidding, all he needed to do was to tell Oshiomole his preferred candidate but he never did, he chose to allow Amosun embark on his his self destruct journey, exactly where he is today. Amosun is the second most frustrated politician in Nigeria today after Mesu. The house of lies he built in the SW Politics collapsed from Oyo to Osun to Ondo, Ekiti, Lagos and even Ogun. In setting up PMB Campaign team in the SW, PMB ensured it was JAGABAN Compliant. If you know You know. However, the Party put each State Governor in charge of their states, this was the last joker Amosun used yesterday, he ejected the APC supporters from the venue and allowed in only his political touts to enter, those touts that failed him during the APC Primaries in Ogun State. He ended up losing permanently, the title YOUR EXCELLENCY yesterday and becomes the CHIEF TOUT of OKE IMOSAN.

My opinion on any issue or individual that I cherish or despise is always formed through my independent rigorous analysis of facts devoid of childish exuberance and emotional irrationality. That is why personally, apart from my local Church, I do not belong to ANY GROUP, whether any of the various PMB support groups or Jagaban Solidarity Organisations because my love and faith in these two leaders was not a collective decision, it is a decision made by me and me alone, it is a decision that stays whether solidarity groups exist or vanish. I don't attend group meetings, I don't follow anyone to the Villa to see anybody or go to Burdillon in group. ALMIGHTY GOD knows that I've never received a DIME from Buhari or Tinubu in my entire life, I will not need it in my entire life!!!! I am AYEKOOTO AKINDELE, I follow what I believe and do it the way I understand it.
President Buhari is a man full of wisdom just like Jagaban. Because of PMB's AGE, he has acquired priceless wisdom over a period of time, this makes him a Stammerer in words but very eloquent in action. Recall, how Asiwaju suffered wicked betrayals from those he unilaterally, through the help of God, took to power, those that thought their ambitions were dead but who Tinubu rekindled their hope and assisted to fulfil destiny, these same folks turned back to stab him but on each occasion, JAGABAN always survived!!! During the merger preparations of the APC, John Oyegun at a function in Benin City referred to Jagaban severally as "MY LEADER, OUR LEADER", at another function in Abuja, he called him "MY OWN LEADER". It was Tinubu who sponsored him to replace Bisi Akande as the APC Chairman against Tom Ikimi, it was not Buhari that brought him, Tinubu did. But what happened? John Oyegun and others like Amosun who Tinubu helped to power joined hands with other haters of Jagaban's political guts to tell lies against him before PMB. Just like when your children say you're a bad father, how can anyone defend you better Those who skimmed to destroy Tinubu were not the northerners, not the Southerners, not even the PDP but those that Tinubu himself brought to power, or elevated in power or brought back to reckoning......They were the ones who attempted to skim him out of relevance. Yes they failed abysmally.

Politics / Re: Bola Ige S.A.N Was Killed Under The Government Of Obasanjo And The PDP by BAZETU12: 12:01pm On Nov 13, 2018
Some people's lives are prolonged for them to be demystified in their Lifetimes.
I remember that an Assistant- Inspector General headed the Investigation Team but was ordered to discontinue the Investigation. Some other brazen Legal steps were taken to obfuscate issues which eventually led to the death of the assassinated Attorney-General's Wife, Justice ATINUKE BOLA IGE.
That dastardly episode convinced some of us that, the Assassination of CICERO OF ESA-OKE was the finale of a long standing hatred the less cerebral followers of the late Sage, Pa Obafemi Awolowo, had for 'Bola Ige & people like him that were very close to Pa Awolowo.
That was why CHIEF OLU FALAE was preferred as the Presidential Candidate of the ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY instead of CICERO that had worked assiduously to cobble disparate Political Groups in the Southwest & placed them under AFENIFERE
It was because of their intolerance that, Chief EBENEZER BABATOPE stormed out of a Meeting in Ikenne & joined the Conservatives. They planned too against ALHAJI LATEEF JAKANDE because of the nickname accorded him & because of his stellar performances as the then Governor of Lagos State. They were envious of ACHIEVERS !
He was referred to as BABA KEKERE & that culminated into a plot known as the "NIGHT OF LONG KNIVES" in Yola.
LKJ & EBINO are still alive to corroborate or dispute my claims here.
That is why the present crop of Leaders should take heed & study the episodes highlighted above.
The lesson being that, most people being forcefully foisted on Party Members' only Asset is being close & visible to the Leader.
Remove the Leader, they have no Political value nor valence !
That in brief & Sociologically- considered, explain the IRRELEVANCE of the Old Men in Southwest Politics & their clinging to the Coat of people like ATIKU ABUBAKAR for visibility & pecuniary hand-outs respectively. If the Dead can observe the Living, I do not know how these dead Heroes will feel about their supposed Fair-Weather Followers !
Chief Bola Ige, even in death, ranks higher in respect & adulation with majority of us that he, the Late LAM ADESINA & OLABISI ONABANJO indirectly influenced to be Forensic Political Thinkers & Writers but not in the genre of "I ARRIVE TO ABUJA THIS MORNING".
Sun re o, Oko Mobolaji, Baba Olumiyiwa !
