The Shoprite guys must think hard before siting one in Al-Shabab Boko Harem infested area. West Gate in Kenya comes to mind.

Car Talk / Re: Tariff On Imported Tokunbo Cars Raised by Beaf1: 11:25am On Oct 04, 2013
The Government should set an example by patronizing locally manufactured cars like Innoson. When I see Innoson jeeps among Jonathans motorcade then I will believe.

The Lion assembled in France will always be better that the one assembled in Kaduna wink

Raise the tariff we will still afford to buy them. I like my machine to be assembled in Germany.

DAMATURU, Nigeria (Reuters) - Fighter jets have bombed camps belonging to suspected Islamist militants in northeast Nigeria in response to a massacre of students at an agricultural college, an army spokesman said on Thursday.

So our almighty army has been waiting for these guys to strike before 'responding'? Were those camps invisible to the army before the attack? This country is a joke!

Jus asking is he part of de G-7 govs?

Politics / Re: Unprecedented Cluelessnessness: Kwankwaso IMPORTS Over 100 Egyptian Doctors by Beaf1: 10:22pm On Oct 02, 2013
undecided
Sincere 9gerian: It is not a crime for Egyptian doctors to work in the Nigerian health care system but such doctors must pass through the same recruitment process that their Nigerian counterparts pass through. It is mark of unprecedented cluelessness for the Kano state govt to IMPORT doctors and give them preferential treatment. There's on difference between a Nigerian doctor and their foreign counterpart. If you expose the Nigerian doctor to the same training and facilities their foreign counterpart have, they'll perform even better. Again, the IMPORTED Egyptian doctors will be clueless as to the pattern of diseases in this environment.

^
If Egyptian doctors are clueless about our diseases why then are we always jumping on the plane to Egypt for treatment.

Speak your mind. The local doctor up there is just trying to protect his job. You on the other hand is hating Kwankwanso because he is troubling your master cheesy

Politics / Re: Why Do You Hate Buhari? by Beaf1: 12:35pm On Oct 01, 2013
Our politicians and past leaders are ones fighting Buhari. The reasons are obvious: The past leaders who killed and loot during their period knows what Buhari will do to them when he assumes leadrrship so Buhari must not rule. Current leaders does not want somebody with a mindset of Buhari succeed them because instead of retiring to enjoy their loot, they will be going straight to jail.

^
Because of the reasons above they needed something powerful to dent Buhari's image then came the Book Harem insurgence with their so-called fight for Islam. This made it easier for them. Buhari made or supported some policies in the past which may be viewed as supporting the cause of Islam. They dug that up and use the media to achieve that aim.

Some people are asking why Buhari never condemned the activities of these killers, I said Buhari values his life. There was a proniment scholar named Jaafar in Kano who was killed in his mosque while leadind prayers, why? Simple! Because he was criticising them.

The Boko Harem leader has always challenge any scholar or Muslim to question his cause. How can you challenge someone with a gun and bomb to debate even if you know he death wrong? What if the debate gets in your favour and your opponent gets enraged? Who gets to protect you?

Buhari should just retire.

Buhari is an honest man and our king makers does not want him at the moment. And don't tell me people loves him because that is not enough for him win election. If people's vote count then there won't be this drama in the PDP and 2015. As usual our next president is being decided by OBJ, IBB, etc. Even Jonathan's faith (as a sitting president) is in the hands of these people. Sad fact!

pafestula: Nigerian don't value life right from day one, the time of our forefathers, killing of innocent souls in the name of sacrifice etc, and also the leaders of nowadays are in into bloody politics, in the name of protection and fame ...so we have used to the barbaric ways of life in Nigeria.

^
Who is talking about forefathers and sacrifice? The number of people sacrificed for a whole generation during the period of our forefathers can be killed in just one day today. Just 8 years ago it wasnt as bad as this. 50 students dead just withing hours on Saturday in Yobe while our leaders are discussion 2015.
