I was wondering why too.

MissDigit:
I noticed that on the letter, it doesn't state whether it's for Advisory or Tax. Just written "Associate"

Hello everyone, So I just had my interview and here's how it went.

ALL MY QUESTIONS were behavioural. Not even tell us about yourself, why PWC etc. Only one question was asked from my CV.

Most of the emphasis of my behavioural questions was based on teamwork and leadership. So I would advise that you prepare enough scenarios for when you worked in a team, worked with a difficult person or when you led a team etc.
Some of the other questions I can remember are:

1. Mention a time when you built a relationship from scrap and how you have been able to maintain it.
2. Mention a time when you leveraged on a relationship to achieve a goal.
3. Mention a time when you had an overwhelming task? How did you handle it.
4. Have you ever had to work with large volume of data to distill information, tell us how you achieved that.

Also, like someone said earlier, do not fixate on possible topics for the first part, it will most likely still come as a surprise but I assure you, you would be able to talk about it.

Also, prepare to ask them intelligent questions, this may make a huge difference. I felt like they did not engage me enough when they asked me questions so I tried to engage them when it was my turn to ask questions.

And oh, my own interview lasted just 40 minutes and my impromptu presentation was something around improving the economy.

Good afternoon everyone. Well I just concluded the interview not so long ago which lasted about 50minz and I did my best, hoping it is enough.

My topic was "Education in Nigeria needs to be revamped, Discuss" and the the 60secs tell me about yourself and why we should hire.

Then behavioural interview questions, I could remember one about leadership, convince people of an idea, use technology to solve complex problem, use complex data or info to solve a project... I answered about 10 sha... There was no question about CV don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing but sha in the beginning they said the interview was in 2parts.. The 5minz and the behaviour questions so I could only hope it was satisfactory... All the best to everyone.

Thanks for sharing. All the best.

Hello guys,
Please if anyone decides to have their interview at the office, kindly update us on your experience particularly, on privacy and comfort. I am still indecisive on whether to go to their office.
Thanks

Hi everyone, so I promised myself that I'd share my experience here regardless of my performance. Here it goes...

Firstly, is the impromptu presentation which would typically not be a hard topic, I think the goal here is to get a sense of your thought process. My question was monetary benefits, job security engenders employees retention, discuss. I feel like I did okay with the topic so typical just keep an open mind about the presentation.

Then the questions part, I had three interviewers and they took turns with me. Some of the questions I got were;

What is a time when you showed leadership
How do you handle multiple deadlines
A time when you had to work with a difficult senior and how did you handle
Have you ever had to learn a skill to help you execute a task etc. They preferred explaining with examples too

I think I got a lot of questions, I got sweaty at some point especially because I stammer a little so if you're like me, don't worry you'll be fine because they said it didn't matter and only your responses counted. I think mine lasted about an hour, don't know if that's a good thing but fingers crossed. Also, I was told that we should expect feedback by first week of August. Good luck everyone

Hello BeeNif. If your ICAN certificate is not available yet then you wouldn't be able to attach this to the PDF. Don't worry you would be fine, it won't affect your chances of getting in. However you can state this on your cv as qualified but not inducted yet, and be sure to mention this in the interviews. If you have any other professional qualifications relevant or not do attach them too. All the best!

Hiiiiiii, I recognize you from last year's thread. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Please, do you have an answer for my earlier question as to what to submit if one is ICAN qualified and yet to be inducted (that is, No certificate yet.)

Bricks92:
Congrats to all who were successfully shortlisted for interviews. The finish line is so close now, you could smell it grin.

Stop over thinking those instructions in the last mail received as it's quite straightforward and simple. Again merge all your documents in 1 pdf including all professional certificates you've got. You do not need a scratch card if you have your original certificate.

Lastly, do not underestimate the interviews. Give it all you've got and prepare like mad otherwise you would regret turning up. Trust me PwC HR have seen it all so you better bring your A game. This is no jokes, the firm only employs the best and brightest (and you would soon find out why if you get in grin grin). If you've made it this far then you've got something to prove.

I'm rooting silently for you and hope to congratulate you soon. wink All the best!

Quick question guys.

Please is there anyone here who is ICAN qualified but yet to be inducted? If so, please what do you intend to submit as evidence of professional qualification?

I would really appreciate a response. Thanks.
