Politics / Re: Do You Support A State-of-emergency In Port Harcourt? by benit(f): 4:18pm On Sep 03, 2007
Barrackboy/Orikinla,
You have said it all. The so-called leaders are cultists. We know where the problem lies and we have to get to the root of an issue to make any meaningful change.
As for state of emergency, the actions of the police have already imposed it. Imagine discharging all occupants of your car (wife and children inclusive) poles away from a police station and having them trek with hands lifted up to a reasonable distance past the station before they get back in the car.
My question is, Is Police supposed to protect their wretched stations in times of crisis or protect the citizens? Police men are intimidating innocent citizens whom they are meant to protect.
Anytime I see this stupid act of theirs, I just feel like slapping dumbness out of their miserable brains angry

Thanks. But can you argue with the Police? Even the DPO will support his men, I advice we should have all the necessary and unnecessary documents to avoid carrying a bag of money (especially when on the highway)

Romance / Re: Graduate Weds Non Graduate: Is It Possible? by benit(f): 11:29am On Aug 31, 2007
No problem but if the man is the non-graduate, pls ensure he believes in himself because if he doesn't, the graduate lady should get ready for constant nagging and everyday reminder of I am the MAN!

Gamine,
We had planned dinner for a few friends on that day but the curfew in PH spoilt everything. We postponed it to 2nd sept, let's see how it goes.

What kind of a man would come and seek advice from a public forum for such a domestic matter?
My advice to you: Lie her on your sofa and give her 24 strokes of the cane or throw her properties out.

Religion / Re: Lies Are My Hobbies: Help by benit(f): 10:35am On Aug 21, 2007
I don't lie because nobody will flog me if I tell the truth and nobody will flog you too. So why do you lie? If as a hobby, then just start telling the truth OK? if you remember you just told a lie, casually tell the person "that was a lie" and then say the correct thing. If you do it long enough, you would have succeeded in training yourself not to lie.
Politics / Re: Naira To Be Re-Denominated by benit(f): 3:17pm On Aug 15, 2007
N1,000/N100 equals N10
N10*N100 equals N1,000
.
.  . Everything/N100 = Everything*N10

Inference
It all boils down to same thing.
Family / Re: Help My Sister's Husband Wants Me To Ave An Affair With Him by benit(f): 5:17pm On Aug 07, 2007
These type of things encourage randy men to continue in their acts, now we are talking about saving this mistake of a marriage. This type of man that wants to sleep with his wife's sister is not fit to be married. God help your sister!

Romance / Re: Is He Being Too Insecure? by benit(f): 3:36pm On Aug 07, 2007
He restricts you to even his family members, this is actually difficult and you require wisdom to tackle it so that your marriage will work, if you start complaining too much it might turn to bitterness. You have to be politely firm (if anything like that) plead with him, beg him, talk to him, assure him again, anything to make him see that you are not happy with the situation because you may soon be asked to stop working if this insecurity continues. Pray about it too.

i think his family should not take it lying low. the should sue NB and make thm pay through their nose for th loss. The claim for damages should not be less than N100m.
Thank you. I said it in my earlier post. We are talking about a life here, a fully grown man, a lost generation and the pains of his family. Were the organizers not supposed to ensure the safety of participants at least? If not, the whole nonsense should be scrapped since it is unsafe. This matter should be investigated thoroughly because more of this may happen if this case is not taken up. angry angry angry
Religion / Re: How To Start My Own Church by benit(f): 11:23am On Aug 06, 2007
These are the type of irritants that come up here to post all what not and then the so-called believers start contributing and castigating themselves rather than developing themselves through the word. Religion!
Programming / Re: I'm A Computer Guru, But My Fiancee Is A Market Trader! by benit(f): 9:04am On Aug 06, 2007
I suggest you register her in school and since you think so highly of yourself, you should be able to sponsor her or if you are the stingy type, tell her to work harder to pay her way through(only if u are truly interested in her). I know of a woman who was a trader when she got married but now a magistrate.
