Business / Re: Are There Still Any Banks Still Transferring Funds For Forex Trading by best007: 5:11pm On Feb 18, 2008
Hi,

Don't blame some of this our MYOPIC BANKS, they just love NIGERIANS been POOR, if is to come and FILL FORMS for CASAVA LOANS or something that they would sell out BANK DRAFT i tell you UBA would be the first to START. They just seem Educated but i tell you thats far from the truth.

What are the reasons if you ask them, they would tell you that NIGERIANS ARE SCAMMERS, and that the process has been abused, let me tell you that the LEVEL of COOPERATE FRAUD that happens in the WESTERN SHPERE is VERY VERY VERY HIGHER than that HERE. So what i feel they should do is to tighten up security and confirm all transactions going in and out.

I TELL YOU IF THEY CONTINUE THIS WAY THEY WOULD SUBJECT NIGERIANS, TO A SELF IMPOSED FINANCIAL STRUCTURE SANCTIONS, thats what they are imposing on their own people, AND AFTER THEY WOULD CALL THEMSELVES BANK OF THE PEOPLE.

Business / Former Pres. Obasanjo Should Be Disgraced In Some Way! by best007: 8:41pm On Feb 03, 2008
Hello all,

I was on the TV and i learnt on AIT that our Presisent Yaardua want to disclare state of emergency in the power sector, yet this is the same power sector that we got so much promises of our former ruler MR OBJ, don't you think that much of the problems that ordinary people face in this country are basically due to power outages, as this has hamper basically all busineses just name em.

Yet our Heady former ruler even said on national TV then during his assumption of office that he needs some stipulated period and power outages in this country would be a thing of the past, yet 8 donkey years was inssufficient for him to set the records straight and get us on a stable power supply.

It is pathetic to see Obasanjo on TV during his tenure,as he was arrogant and very high heady any time on TV or radio, and one would be made to believe that he should have known what he was doing in this country.

I tell you this that he has failed us in this country and he should be called to the national assemblty ad be disgraced by some of our young law makers, at least that should make some of us happy after all that he has caused ordinary nigerians.

Post replies please on what you think should be done to OBJ, on all his failures during his 8 donkey years.

Regards

Business / Societe Generale Unveils $7.2bn Lone Trader Loss by best007: 5:58pm On Jan 24, 2008
Hello everyone,

French's second largest bank by market value has today uncovered a massive $7.2bn loss accumulated by a lone traders actions. The trader who has agreed to this is yet to be mentioned as at release. The trader had basically opened trades beyond his limit got in trouble. This fraud was uncovered last week. As at release Societe Generale has it's shares suspended, with the bank Chief executive offering to step down but the Bank's Board has refused the move from It's Chief Executive, although supervisors were suspended on this move.

Warning to all em folks out there who claim to know the financial markets so well, just take a que from a pro. What basically happened is that he traded above set limits and when he found that he made losses, he entered multiple positions to cover for the losses, and he encured more losses.

Get full story at http://piptrain..com/2008/01/societe-generale-unveils-72bn-lone.html

Is very pathetic how a single trader can get his bank into such debts, the sentiments in europe right now is that other banks are looking at the possibility of these kind of happenings and are doing some inward checks right now.

Outlook in the world's financial senerio is very bad and is either recession or a slow down, but until then we gat to keep our hands crossed and watch the unfolding events in europe, asia, and the mighty yankees.

Cheers all.
Business / Buy And Hold Your Dollars, Usd Kicking Back Watch Out. by best007: 2:11am On Jan 19, 2008
Hello Everyone,

I have seen alot of topics over the internet bout the Yankees going into a Slump, well few days ago Fed. Chairman Ben Bernake gave a speech where he addressed House committee members and he advised that a stimulus package be unvieled that would be fast and very effective. Sure bush is working on that and it would be revealed soonest. Well this problem basically started off from the Housing sector, so it riippled out into other sectors of the economy and thereby giving fears to a Reccession. What is Reccession?

Reccession is Two straight quarters of negative growth, or the period between the peak and the trough. So we have seen the last quarter ( thats last year show signs of negative growth in the US)

Now with the stimulus package coming out, watch out and see how $1 would bounce back to N129-N135 before the second quarter of this year.

JUst keep your hands crossed as you watch other currencies as well as our beloved naira crash against the almighty USD.

Stay Tuned

Investment / Re: Trading Shares On NSE Right From Your Home by best007: 8:27pm On Jan 12, 2008
Hello everyone,
Sometimes i think 99% pf Nigerians are mad, you just start a post and ask people to mail you, why? Cos you wanna market the info why not join the success digest band wagon and it's army of infoprenuers, this is all i'm sure he knows, if you want to place you orders directly on the NSE without going through the hassles of passing through your broker,

1. Get a CSCS account registred with a Stock Broker.

2. Get to the CSCS website and download this form, and fill out then take the form to your stock broker to affirm it's signature on it.

3. You are required to pay a sum of N2500.00 into 2 designated banks listed on the form.

4. Would then scan the form and bank draft and send to CSCS email address, where it would be processed, this could take bout a month.

5. CSCS then contact with login info, that enables you log into CSCS homepage, where you can buy/sell stocks on your own, without going through your broker.

6. Alerts would be sent to your broker and they would effect profits or losses on your account since they manage them.

The url for the form is: http://www.cscsnigerialtd.com/forms/subscription_form1.pdf
