One good thing I like with WordPress is its Offline Design feature.

With Offline WordPress you can design a website without worrying about buy a domain name and hosting.

What this means is that, you will do all the design on your local computer from start to finish. You will only need a domain name and hosting when you want to deploy your website to the online server.

So how is this done?

You will need just 4 basic tools:

� WordPress
Head on to wordpress (dot)org and download WordPress then unzip it. It comes as a zipped folder.

� Xampp
Download Xampp from apachefriends (dot)com. Make sure you select the right operating system. Install it on your system. This will be your local sever.

� Theme
Still on WordPress(dot)org, click on Themes and download Astra Themes. This is the tool that gives the appearance and layout of your website.

� Plugin
Then download a plugin called 'Starter Templates'. This will help you import a complete pre-designed website templates and start editing.

So once you have these tools on your system, that's all, you can build your website without a domain name and web hosting.

Offline WordPress is sweet. You can write blog posts, build new web pages and all of that offline.
