Filling the form is optional anyway.....but I think it's better to fill it, even if they don't buy, it's worth trying at least. Also, there's nothing like freezing once you sell to them, they collect your shares and pay you money, shikena!
BTW, have you received the form? Or did your broker send it to you?
Good day madam Mercy & ogas in the house, kindly help. I got the FO mail with form attached from my stockbrokers so I called to make some clarifications before filling the form but was advised not to bother filling as according to my stockbrokers the FO/Ignite people already have people from who they want to buy. They said the notice & form was only sent out of courtesy & that they won't buy my shares even if I show interest to sell. Pls what do I do. I really want to sell & would need my stockbrokers signature & stamp on the form for processing since I bought through them. Is there an alternative means to do this? Can I deal directly with the rehistrars? Or are they right that I shouldn't bother

I’m afraid to imagine how Frodd will survive as a single character. He’s spent too long chasing and catching Esther that I feel he won’t provide much being alone again. All the housemates who developed beef for him based on her matter will shine using him when she’s gone. I see Mercy gravitating back to him as Esther was one of her problems regarding his issue.

True this. It won't be a good night for Mazi Frodd o. People seem to be overlooking the sir Dee aspect too; if Sir Dee leaves it would be a double loss and deep hurt for Frodd cos sir Dee seems to be one of Frodd's "very"few friends.

Please house kindly advise me on what to do
I have 2 stockbroking accounts; I use 1 of the accounts to buy my Zenith Bank shares and did an e-dividend mandate on that account but I recently used the 2nd one without a mandate to buy new shares of Zenith because the customer services rep said since I already have an existing mandate I would still get my dividends. She said Veritas already have my name in their register but now I am yet to receive my dividends
Do I need a mandate for the 2nd account with the other broker or is there a way to merge 2 accounts?

I'll advise u KEY into HEALTHY coys with SOUND FUNDAMENTALS... but which are presently trading at a great MoS discount from their FVs.

I currently hold UBA, WEMA, ZENITH, FIDELITY, FCMB, CAVERTON, AIICO and UNIONDAC in my investment portfolio.
...while UPL, TRANSCORP and MAY & BAKER are confined in my trading portfolio.
All aforementioned coys are currently trading way below their intrinsic/fair values. ...with some presently selling at btw 80-195% discount from their FVs.
On a side note, I consider CAVERTON, FCMB, FIDELITY, WEMA, AIICO and UBA as been the CHEAPEST right now !!

I also have 3 other coys on my radar for which JB is among. The other 2 are...(waiting for some sought of confirmation)

U may wish to make ur choice therein after carrying out ur due diligence.
Try to read btw the lines to decipher a hint.

Cheers

Thank you very much sir. I always look forward to your explanations; very detailed.

Meanwhile I hope all well with @ Fxuser, Druggedprof and others MIA.

All IPO documents I have ever read can be summarised as ESSAYS OF HOPE.
These entities paralyse your brain linings with subsequent results.
Whenever they have infected the pie beyond local drugs, they come out for ALMS (IPO).
Most of the cash is used to award fictitious contracts to themselves... grin
They keep part of your money to give you as dividend for the first year and second year.... grin
They later change their minds and avoid paying you for the second year while OPEX spikes to high heavens... grin
Some companies only source of real cash will keep being the periodic injections by agents of hope.
All these years, why is it now that they are coming to do IPO
Someone is about to chop and run.... grin

quote author=onegentleguy post=71537351]

U are only looking at a single factor (deriavable earnings to equity holders) in isolation.
To draw a BETTER INFERENCE in fundamental analysis, its ALWAYS BEST to look at several indices as a combination.
Let me try and do justice to a few.
Some KEY highlight:
▪ Improving ROAE. ...which prints 7.39% as at H1 2018. Given current indices, It's clear that this line will grow to well above 10% by YE.
▪ fairly steady growth in interest and non-interest income. ...with the latter growing from just above 24% to 33% in 2018 over the corresponding period of last yr.
▪ Improving CAR. ...growing by near 33% from 10% to 13.27% as at H1 2018.
It's important to note that the re-commencement of the 50B bond program will still improve CAR by above 15%. WEMA has already raised the 1st tranche of funds via bonds.
With CAR at above 32% past the CBNs regulatory minimum for banks with national license (like wema), the banks qualifying capital in proportion to its loan is very sound.
...the interpretation of this is that the banks equity measured against its risk assets is very HEALTHY !!
The banks cost of risk is also relatively low. So for those who hold the funny belief that WEMA might go the way of skye, read this;
WEMAs position on CAR, NPL and CoR clearly shows that the bank is very SOLVENT and NEVER in dare need of funds.
The banks NPL ratio of 3.3% is presently about the lowest for quoted coys in the industry.
▪ The bank also improved their Asset yield following from a better than expected loan growth. YoA currently prints at 18.24%. ...this is KEY.
▪ Management were also fairly efficient as NIM improved from approx 6% in 2017 YE to 7.24% by H1 2018.
▪ Improved LOAN GROWTH. ...coming from the back of a regressive position as at YE 2017 to 3.5% in H1 2018. The bank also expects this to hit 10% by YE.
▪ Improving customer deposit. ...from a previous all time low to 39% as at H1 2018.
With the banks present degree of Innovation, this line may well hit above 50% by YE.
▪ Despite a slightly higher OPEX and cost to income ratio, the bank still grew their net income line. ...which reflected in their ROAE, ROAA and Equity Multiplier.
Suffice to say that the main drivers for the increase in their expense line was as a result of their key technological developments and brand positioning efforts. (pls refer to the NTS)
...and so over a time adjusted basis, these innovations will most likely transform into higher earnings in TOPLINE.
▪ The bank has also been very innovative with the changing tides of the economy in other to better build on their interest income and net margin.
WEMA is currently one of the best fintech banks in Nigeria.
...their fintech space, ALAT presently speaks volume of the banks future earnings drive.

If one can read between the lines and properly dymisify these figures, u would see that WEMA is a BARGAIN at current market price !!
This bank has witnessed a remarkable turnaround in the past few yrs. Needless to say that it is a GREAT GROWTH stock !!
...those who know, know what they need to continue to do.

I also need to remind u that the essence of the banks recent capital reduction exercise was to allow for dividend payment this year.
...the bank gave guidance to this when it said it will pay a dividend this yr before completing their bond raise.

NOTE: There is absolutely NOTHING like a planned share reconstruction. ...it's important not to put out false news.
WEMA is not the only bank with a high OS.

But I do agree that there are better banking coys in the market now. UBA, ZENITH, FCMB, and STERLING are currently selling at good bargains, but not STANBIC. Dont be deceived by the Nos from STANBIC. One of this days, I shall do an expose on that coy. Current price is at a premium to true valuation.

But folks should always remmember that due diligence is still advised as always pls.

Enough said.
wema price 0.58 , eps 0.04 , pe 14.5 , roe 3% etc

STANBIC bank @ N44 is cheaper than this stock talkless of zenith , eti and so on

my brother . . we hv all been here before.

- You need to let it go (also emotionally )
- be at peace and accept dat it was a bad trade, it cud hv been a good trade also
- Every loss is just an experience on your way to been better
- Improve on cutting losses short without hesitation (takes time to get this)
- Think in probabilities always (read Mark douglas, soak it , digest it)
- Accept that every trade has a random outcome
- Review d trade , learn from it well , improve risk mgt, u'll make it all back and more .

this is nt popular cos it's not easy, some will say keep it forever or till next yr or forget about it till it break even or keep it as a ''long term investment '' hehehe ..

tis well

Thank you so very much sir Fxuser and it's sister sir hehehe.

Deadlytruth:

In my own opinion, you need to sell and avoid further losses which are obviously inherent in FO, then look for a more promising one and buy with the proceeds. No quoted company on NSE is worth falling in love with and residing in more than six months. It is not marriage where it is for better for worse as long as it is not your father's company. Not even the so called bluest chips are exempted.
They can do to you what FO has just done. From my own experience, long terming in Nigeria is dangerous and could be counterproductive especially to low portfolio size owners like some of us. You can wake up one day and begin to hear stories that touch concerning your company and bailing out becomes almost impossible.

The intersting feature of the stock market is that when one door is closed, another one is open right then but just the ability to recognize it.
It is not actually difficult to recoup your losses if you sell and buy into another company which is healthy but trading below its fair value.
The stock market is like politics where there aren't permanent friend or enemy companies but permanent interest of dividends and capital appreciation. Once a company your are in no longer holds the capacity to deliver your interest you defect to another which holds out such prospect.

Many investors have been sent to their villages permanently as a consequence of this hold tight syndrome. So Beware.
Thank you so very much sir. I'm super grateful. Many thanks to everyone who took time to answer my question.
