If husband is relocating alone, it's safe to assume (hoping things go according to plan), would take between 8/12 months before he can meet all the documentation and financial prerequisites for the remaining members of the family to join him.
My perception, others might think otherwise.

Oh wow! Is there no other way around this? That's a really long time, a really long time. If my uncle and his family are willing to act as my sponsor especially as they meet the requirement (accommodation and finances) do you know if that can work.....? Any hint at how to go about it. Will it still be a spousal visa application....?? @portsmouth38 @justwise @newbie715

Does your husband have relatives in the uk to initially setup with?
Or is he travelling to the uk with the kids on a wing and a prayer?
Or has funds for initial relocation associated cost?

Hello Lexus, thanks. Husband is going alone. Not really at funds for relocation but we both have closely knitted relations who are happy to have him and even us till we can settle in properly on our feet.

He will leave first whilst i stay back here with the kids and i hope to apply for my spousal visa asap....but not sure how soon because of this financial requirement that we don't really understand and almost sure we don't meet.

Thanking you for your help in advance.

How do we meet this financial requirement, no property or rent or anything.
what are our next steps?
