Good day guys, hope the weekend's going pretty well? I just spoke with a big bro who's been a staff of NNPC for over decade, that's excluding his years as a contract staff. I briefed him on the cancellation rumours currently gaining traction. He immediately told me it's a lie from the pit of hell, but then i insisted on him finding out as opposed to just assuming. So, he made calls to 3 other guys, 2 of whom work in the HR department, and they all debunked such rumours.. He went on to enlighten me on how difficult it is to abandon a very credible recruitment exercise based on certain individual's grieviances. He also said, your connect has to be really tight to get in through the backdoor, especially in cases of a mass recruitment of this nature. Plus, those few top guns are usually not given more than one or two slots, and that depends on certain factors I'll rather not divulge, plus their names are also ascribed to whoever they put forward. I am not here to discredit anyone's source, put i really don't know where these cancellation rumours emanated from. He also said, there is a lot of reshuffling currently going on and this is geared towards increasing professionalism, efficiency and productivity within the corporation. let's keep hope alive guys, God bless you all. Cheers.. Saint2flex: 24 Likes |

Some organizations give a specific timeframe for new intakes to provide their original credentials. I'm aware that a handful of people presented Statements Of Results, as opposed to Originals at the interview stage. If/when those Candidates are selected, they may be required to produce their Originals within a specific timeframe. In essence, the December 12th deadline may not necessarily mean that new intakes are scheduled to resume in December as you may have assumed. Cheers. Linkmarshal: 12 Likes 1 Share |

Lol, you and I were targeted at the same time. Plus it's like we were interviewed by the same panel, cause your interview experience was similar to mine.. [Qquote author=Jarus post=81849815] Local man just received 20k alert from Lazarus Mikailu PS: Not responsible for whatever anyone makes of this, or whatever theory is woven around this. I'm an applicant like anyone else. I don't believe in any theory. I only believe in a fact: everyone, except those with issues with their accounts, will be reimbursed
|

A quick summary of the P&ID Saga They took advantage of Yar’Adua’s illness and vegetable state. Even ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, who took over as Acting President cannot say much about it because the agreement was done in a suspicious manner and limited to the Ministry of Petroleum‼‼ President Yar’Adua was in coma when P&ID contract was signed Preliminary investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) indicated that the P&ID contract was signed by the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources at the time the late President Umaru Yar’Adua was already in coma.‼ to award such contracts you need the full FEC approval with the signature of the president so someone must have signed us out and if Jonathan did not do it then he must come out and answer for himself before we drag him out ‼ The anti-graft agency is probing the likelihood of the forgery of the signature of a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dr. Rilwan Lukman, who was known for his high ethical standards.‼ Detectives are after a former legal director of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Grace Taiga, who was central to the negotiation between the Federal Government and P&ID.‼ Also, a raid of an offices believed to be that of P&ID in Lagos and Abuja at the weekend left the EFCC detectives stranded because there were no signs of the presence of the company in Nigeria.‼ It was learnt that the EFCC team discovered from the Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC) that there is another firm registered as P&ID Nigeria Limited with two Nigerian directors.‼ It was also learnt that when one of the directors was called on the phone last Wednesday, he admitted being on the board of P&ID Nigeria Limited and agreed to meet with the EFCC The former President was flown to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in November 2009 for treatment of a heart condition.‼ But after three months in Saudi hospital, Yar’Adua was brought back to Nigeria and he remained incommunicado till his death on May 5, 2010.‼ The source said: “So far, detectives have discovered that the GSPA was signed on January 11, 2010 when Yar’Adua was already in coma. There was no evidence of presentation to the Federal Executive Council(FEC).‼ “The whereabouts of a former Director of Legal in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Grace Taiga was unknown. Our detectives have not been able to get across to her. We need her assistance. She superintended over the GSPA six months to her retirement.‼ “We are probing clues that Lukman’s signature might have been forged for the deal. He was a meticulous and an experienced international stakeholder in OPEC. Those who worked with him expressed doubts that he would sign such an agreement without FEC approval.‼ “We are suspecting a case of forgery. We will do forensic analysis of all relevant documents.”‼‼ Cheers. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

[quote author=Onunu post=81304853]i got some info from someone privy to insider info from the management. It’s not verified but most likely true. I won’t go into too much details lest I get lynched by keyboard warriors. 1. Process was in the hand of a female GGM. The process was finished without external influence but then the new management had issues with the selection as some zones had more successful candidates than others. 2. GGM was asked to review to ensure a more balanced selection. 3. With new management, interests seem to be mounting pressure. Also, new members of the house want slots for their constituents. Support workers from refineries are threatening strike action because they want to be converted to permanent staff before any new recruits would come in. 4. All these have caused delay in the release of the APL’s 5. If you doubt me, please do so honorably. I’m just relaying info I got and I felt I should share with those that need to hear. If you insult me, I’ll leave you to God, I won’t bother responding. Cheers and have a nice day. Best wishes as you wait for APL.
Your had me until i got to Number 3. If everyone was told to apply, including contract staff of NNPC, then people were shortlisted and invited for the CBT, and sequel to that, successful candidates were invited for Interview. Why would anyone demand to be converted to a permanent staff without undergoing due process? Something just doesn't add up. I understand that this point of the recruitment process is really sensitive, stakes are high, expectations are high and people tend to apply a lot of emotions as opposed to logic.. Let's keep hope alive. God bless us all. 10 Likes |
