Chapter Seven

After staying home for a week without hearing from father Kenneth I returned back to school. I called him several times but he did not pick my calls. A month later, I discovered that he was out of the country on transfer. It was the saddest news I ever heard and I lost focus for a while. That semester was my worst semester in school. One weekend I went to browse in the café, I opened my mail and stared at the screen of the computer in shock.

There was a mail with the subject ' I AM SORRY' in capital letters from him. I didn't open the mail immediately, I simply stared at it as I was flooded with emotions. The events of the past kept flashing through my mind and I found myself already forgiving him. I opened the mail after some minutes, he said he was sorry for the way he treated me. He also said he had realized he could trust me because I didn't tell my parents or anyone what happened. He said he would make it up to me. I couldn't help forgiving him.

We continued communicating through mails, I would go to the café as often as I could and there was always a message in my inbox from him. One day I went to the café but there was no mail from him. I sent him several mails but there was no response from him, I didn't lose hope though. I kept going to the café and finally there was a message in my inbox from him.

I opened the message and the smile on my face froze. It wasn't from him, it was from Ejiro. She had sent me the mail through his email ID. She stated how disappointed she was in me and how Father Kenneth and I had deceived her to do what she did I.e taking me to the doctor for an abortion.

She asked me to focus on my education and also think about my future. She also said so many things which made me feel bad. I was shocked, I didn't know how she found out and I was too ashamed to reply her. Out of curiosity, I opened another tab and opened another Yahoo login. I used father Kenneth's email ID and Ejiro's name as the password. It worked.

I realized that she might have gone through his mails and found our messages. I also realized that must have been the reason for his silence. He must have known our email was being monitored by Ejiro.I tried to forget him, Ejiro and all the drama. I tried dating other guys, guys in my age bracket but somehow it never worked out. It was either they were too loud or lousy. I wanted something quiet, a relationship that would only be between us. But they all wanted to flaunt ' us' which was the last thing I wanted.

Since dating other guys didn't work out, I decided to channel my time and energy into my studies. I never heard from Ejiro again and there was no message from father Kenneth either.

P.s I'm sorry for late updates.

Some adults see noting wrong in taking money from their parents even when they are doing fine. I think he's just a spoilt baby. If the dad is not complaining let him keep taking money from his old man if his conscience can take it.

He came back that same evening with his girlfriend, Ejiro. He told her I was impregnated by a small boy in my school and since he was like a father to me i came to him for help. I noticed she seemed suspicious but she didn't push it.

"Don't worry Lisa, everything will be alright" She said." I will come back tomorrow and i will take you to a doctor. Take care of yourself. "

They both left then, promising to come back the next day. Just like she promised she came back the evening of the following day. She was kind to me and she asked who was responsible for my pregnancy.

"A boy in my school," was the reply I gave her.

She took me to a doctor who did d& c for me. It was so painful, I screamed and cried a lot. Afterwards she took me back to the hotel and ran a warm bath for me.

"Sorry dear," she kept saying as she bathed for me. She bought me some fruits and urged me to eat some of it.

"Lisa stop crying. Everything will be alright." She kept on saying, petting me to stop crying.

She stayed with me a little while leaving. She had said I should take good care of myself because she won't be chanced to come see me the next day. I hoped Father Kenneth would come see me, to check up on me but he didn't. Throughout the next day I kept hoping to hear a knock on the door.
He never showed up. Besides that I had nothing to eat so I ate the remaining fruit and went to bed.

He came on the third day with Ejiro. He treated me with so much disdain, like I was a wayward girl who couldn't keep her legs closed.

"You have to go back to Lagos," he said, handing me the money for my transport fare.

Having no other reason to stay in Ibadan, I went back to Lagos still bleeding profusely and I bled for a long time.

I know say someone go die for this story. It always happens in all bibijay123's stories. But truth be told, the way some people view Catholic reverend fathers as saints can be appalling to say the least. Especially female folks.

I hardly comment on threads but I'm pushed to say something
Everything about this story is true n it happens
my entire family are Catholics but i'm not naive n I've seen a lot
I also encountered a priest too who seemed caring n nice n i was drawn closer to him only to discover he's a chronic womanizer n I discovered he's not who everybody thinks he is, these days they do it without fear of God or man
I'm so shocked that I hardly even attend the Catholic church again

Wow, really? While i was in secondary school, a classmate also complained about the same thing to me. Nobody believed her tho, sadly i didn't then too.

I stayed in the parish house, awaiting his return. He returned few days later from the retreat and I was really glad to have him back.

“I am pregnant.” I finally broke the news when we were alone.

I could still remember vividly what he said to me.

“Am I responsible for it?” he asked with a hardened expression on his face.

I started tearing up immediately.

“I am sure you have been sleeping with those small boys in your school,” he went on.

I was shocked and tears kept streaming out of my eyes. I didn’t know what I expected but it wasn’t this. I kept crying and denying what he was accusing me of.

He started pacing the room, looking very agitated. “Don’t you have friends who have carried out an abortion before? Tell them to take you to a doctor to get rid of it.”

“I don’t have friends and I don’t know any doctor.” I cried.

He walked to the door and locked it.

“Get up!” he shouted.

I was scared of this part of him, this wasn't the sweet, caring man who i fell in love with. I quickly stood up, crying.

“UnCloth.” He said.

I hesitated, wondering why.

“UnCloth!” he yelled.

I quickly took off my clothes, standing before him as nude as the day I was born. He pulled me onto the bed, spreading my legs apart. I screamed out in pain as he shoved his fingers into me roughly, like he wanted to rip the baby out of me.

“Shut up!” he shouted.

He pulled me down to the bare floor and raped me, slamming into me with a great force as if it would make me miscarry. I kept crying and begging him to stop, it hurt badly and I wanted the pain to stop. I felt it was my fault for getting pregnant, I blamed myself for everything.

He stood up off me. “Clean yourself up and get your things.”

He drove me to a hotel and lodged me there. He left me all alone in the room, promising to come back for me the next day.

Nice job Bibijay, like your other stories this one is also captivating. Naive should be Lisa's middle name sef. I don't blame her much, most teenagers reason with their hormones and can't tell deceit even if it staring at her in the face.
But are priests supposed to have girlfriends? I thought they take oaths of celibacy amongst other oaths? Me I like paying attention to tiny details, I'd like to know which decade the story was set (I'm assuming late 90s or early 2000s)

Cant wait to read more updates, you too much kiss

Thanks sis, it's early 2000.They are supposed to be celibate and holy but some of them do so many evil and immoral things behind closed doors.
