I have found someone and have given her everything, God bless us all. bigbird: Hello everyone, I was a member of this thread in 2018 and had my baby, I got pregnant again last year with my second baby but unfortunately lost my baby after birth in January this year. The holy spirit has been ministering to me to give out everything I bought to a mother in need, so I am ready to do that but i need someone who is really in need and has not bought a single thing so i can give them all I have. But i will need the group's help in choosing who i should give them to, i have things like car seat, dryer etc and other neccessities. Please anybody can reach out to me with the best way to choose or if there is already someone on this thread who needs it please let me know. May you all deliver safely in Jesus name. 1 Like |

BA!BA!BA! I welcomed my beautiful princess on Saturday October 20th at 8:13am through Elective CS weighing 2.78kg. We are both doing fine and have just been able to come online since then. That’s how I ported from November sha o but we Thank God. Joomie: TEAM OCTOBER 2018 Back to Back B.A
Let's come out and make some noise. Have you taken your early morning walk? ANC is now on a weekly basis so feel free to ask questions from your Dr. Check what facilities they have to cater for a jaundiced newborn, take a look at their NICU, blood bank etc. We won't need it by God's grace but we need all the reassurance we can get. I'm sure bags are packed. Don't forget to get a wrapper as that would be most comfortable the first few days. Have you been cleaning your nipps? Scrub those dark and crusty stuff off it, we don't want baby ingesting it. I'm sure you have all downloaded the contraction timer app.
A very big congratulations to our newest mummies, may your babies bring joy to your family at all times.

Friday July 20th, I lost my mucous plug and I knew labor was getting pretty close. I was so excited that the next day, I rushed off to make my delivery hair. Entered market to get things to make zobo for the house, got extra supplies of my son's cereal, milk and diaper. I told dh and my mum that labor would come before Tuesday. But no one was taking me and my labor ish serious anymore, due to the previous two false alarms. I got home and ate lots of pineapple core and used the leftover to prepare my zobo. Dh was even preparing to travel back to Lagos to attend to work. That Saturday night, I woke up with that feeling of something about to pop out of my vjay. I wiped and didnt see anything. Woke up again, same thing. So I danced and jumped a little in the toilet to see if it'll pop out. I thought it was more mucous plug about to fall out. I went back to bed. 4.30am, I heard one large popping sound and gush. The whole bed was flooded with thick water. I jumped up and woke dh up. He was surprised to see water all over the bed. I told him my water has broken. Went to wake mum up and she screamed "Jesus Jesus", as if na person die. She was surprised I wasn't in pains. I even took my time to brush and wear beta cloth before we drove down. The hospital I registered fell my hand. First they did a painful VE and said my cervix is closed. How?? Contractions had already started setting in. They did a CTG and they said i'm not having contractions. Say what? I asked for my gynae and they said he has plenty emergencies to attend to. One lanky doctor walked in and was telling the midwives that this is the lady that has done two previous CS and she has been scheduled for an Emergency Csection. I said who are you talking about? Mum was already getting pissed. My gynae finally came out and changed mouth that its CS straight. I asked him what happened to all his sweet talks about giving me a chance at Vbac? He said since my waters has broken, infection can set in immediately so they hàve to section me asap. Mum don vex already. She said oya, let's go to our family hospital. We rushed down there with my waters still trickling and contractions getting more intense. As we stepped in, I met my very close friend. She was one of the gynae there and my angel doctor. Immediately they took me to labour ward. Checked and said I was 4cm dilated. Monitored baby's heartbeat for a while and then she decided to do an enema. I asked what it was. And she explained its to help me progress faster but the pains will be more intense after it's done. I was like, bring it on. Poor me, I didn't know what was in store for me. They did it and I pooed three times. The last poo trip I almost fell on the floor while returning to my bed. The craziest pain ever started. I had experienced labor before but this one was extraordinary. My waist was on fire. I couldn't help but screaming, snap my fingers, pull my hair, grabbed the nurses hands and beg them to help me. I was shouting anyhow. "My waist is on fire. Rub my waist. Hit it. Stop gisting. I need an epidural. Doctor help me. Mummy pls how did you bear your own? Women are suffering. What did women do to deserve this. This pain will kill me. Baby pls come out. What are you waiting for?". My pain threshold is zero man. I hate pain. I thought I could bear it. It wasn't easy. Dh came and was asking how i'm feeling. I said don't ask me questions, rub my waist. A nurse came to tell me that it looks like its my mum that is in labor, with the way she was acting outside. I felt so bad. When mum walked in, I tried my best to be calm for her. Kolewerk. When I finally got to 8cm after 2hrs, one nurse mistakenly said in 30mins I should be ready to push. I started checking time. 2:30pm, I never reach 10cm. I was so mad. After a while, I was fully dilated and asked to push. Pushing was even mild compared to pain of contractions. I pushed with all my strength. I pushed thrice and my angel doc asked me to stop and stepped outside. I didn't know my princess was coming out with her face. Damn! My angel doc said she doesn't want to risk anything happening to my baby at this stage, cus she will never forgive herself. Off we went to the theatre. Inside the theatre, I was hysterical. Asking plenty unnecessary questions about the type of anaesthesia, injections, bla bla bla. They had to knock me out and perform the CSection. Baby came out weighing 4kg with balloon cheeks. I was happy I tried my best to give Vbac a shot. And i'm also happy mother and baby are alive to tell and hear the story.
Say hello to Gabrielle! 1 Like |

Note: What I did was that someone referred me to a big shop the woman sell wholesale prices. So I presented my list, selected everything she packed them, we calculated the total price together then I made deposit 3times . As I was making the deposit she asked me to be moving some things gradually cos of space in her shop Well the woman is nice sha and at the same time the trust was there not everyone will do it. So for most of us that plan shopping especially first time mums but don't have all the money in bulk, this secret may work for you too . Please mama's any other thing you think I need in the list, please add. Thanks
Below is the hospital list I was given no mucus extractor in the list maybe they don't use it.

Thank God for for your life. Congratulations on your LO. God is indeed faithful, and he will perfect your healing. Rubyzz: MY BIRTH STORY Pregnancy period I conceived miraculously after 2.9yrs of ttc after so many tests, drugs, hospital visits, spending money etc. I had multiple fibroids and was told to do a surgery, i took in unexpectedly the month i was scheduled to do the surgery. The pregnancy period was very challenging for me, at 6 weeks i had high malaria from then onwards one issue or the other. MS was all day sickness for me and no remedy worked for me. i went days without food cos anything i taste must come out even water, i was being rushed to the hospital almost every week to take drip cos of extreme weakness, i could hardly stand without being supported. I lived on A.vomine every 5am bf anything enters my mouth, then i could now eat one plain eko/agidi and cold water for the day. I also took alot of youghurt.
MS lasted for 5 full months and sometimes show face until after 7 months b4 I started eating, I lost so much weight that you will see Belle but won't see who is carrying it grin grin So thyphoid fever, fibroid degeneration, premature contractions and bleeding/spotting landed me on admission 7 times. I was told the fibroids were getting bigger and have increased to 5 so the baby might not survive. They were also located at the mouth of the cervix causing a lot of pain, I could not stand, sit or walk for 10 mins cos the weight was resting on the fibroids. I was placed on bed and pelvic rest, no work only go to the bathroom and no kpekus (that one pain dh ehen grin tongue tongue).
I was told that VB will be risky for me so at 34 weeks I should come for steroids for the baby then they will carry out cs. Hubby no gree o, see me see undecided lipsrsealed he said his stand is no cs. Na prayers sort that matter o, thank God it was not too late.
The birth So fast forward to 39 weeks, I went in for a cs after mild drama from dh, he was looking at my pix throughout the night, ha I said to myself. This oga take it easy na, am coming back o. I had shaved the day before and catheter was put, was cleaned in the theater and given General anasthesia in my iv line. They were praying when I went off, I could only hear my music from afar. I felt like I was in a big spiral tube spinning round and round, I saw myself going up to different places, I saw a garden with flowers, a fiery red place, an ugly giant, my head and tongue felt so swollen. I was told I was shouting Jesus and screaming 4 different times I came out of the anasthesia, they had to give me 50mg 4 times and later switched to a different drug cos I was trying to stand up from the operating table, I even kicked their tools on the table, male nurses were called in to hold me down. My family outside were already crying and praying bcs the whole hospital could hear my screams.
Meanwhile I heard my baby was brought out by 10:45am with cord around his neck, I heard his cry from another world and that was when I started coming back. From unconscious state I was saying thank you Jesus, my baby, my baby. I didn't know that he was brought to me and I prayed for him with all the drs and nurses saying amen. He was taken to my dh who also prayed for him.
Part two of the surgery began, trying to remove the fibroids. 3 were seen, two were removed but the third one was blocking the cervix and had some adhesions so he couldn't remove it. The Dr later asked me how I managed to conceive with the fibroods and adhesions. I was in the theater for almost 2 hours and everyone outside was afraid but thank God for bringing me out alive. I was taken to the recovery room and another pain started, my back was paining me seriously. I was crying and begging them to turn me.on my side but they refused bcs of the stitches, I was in so much pain and was given injections to knock me out. I woke up by 5pm and asked for my baby to pray for him again, I was asking if he is cute .
Post birth I stayed in the hospital for 5 days after which I was discharged. I fell ill immediately after naming, from malaria to typhoid, low pcv of 24, swollen legs which started after birth, stomachaused by intestinal gut obstruction, stooling and vomiting and thrombosed heamorrhoid. Ha, na only me waka come? Was admitted for another 6 days and did a mini procedure to unclot the haemorrhoid. I could not feed my baby and he refused to take formula, when I hear him crying I will start crying too. I had to beg them to hold him beside me and I started breastfeeding while lying down. I was discharged and told to be on a strict liquid diet for 3 weeks. Still on it but am very strong now, thanks to God.
I appreciate all the Mam's here who have kept this thread alive, I learnt so much. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Team June like no other, thank you all. I pray for all the ttc and waddling Mama's, we shall read your testimony soon. Porting to the new born thread but will peep in here from time to time, vigilante is so real. God bless you all

Wooow, sounds like a movie. Congratulations, Thank God for smooth delivery. May God protect and keep your LO rofemiguwa:
Birth story
I thank God for his mercies, this pregnancy has being filled with drama. My edd was 5 and 7 july according to scan n lmp. Spent 2/3 of my first trimester hospitalized due to severe ms. Half of my 2nd trimester on intermittent bed rest due to cramps My 3rd I was already waddling by 7months.baby's head dropped early.i couldnt bend and I was as lazy as slob eh. I was having frequent BH contractions. It became normal sef to me. I stopped driving.uber and taxify finish my money eh!. chai!.
Fast forward to 20 june.after my ANC. I decided to finally shop and pack hospital bag incase of emergency as if I knew. On sunday 24th june.i was on call..so I prepared went to work by 8am, while at work I was having my usual false contractions or so I thought. So inbetween attending to my patients I will jus lie down when I could to get a little relief. I was jokingly telling my colleague 'this kain busy duty I go soon born for una for hia'. We all laughed about it.i now said I was going to as my ogas for the day off on monday cos that sunday had being stressful so I dont deliver before my time.
I closed by 830pm.hubby came to pick me.when we got home.i prepared dinner, we ate, the contractions came back.i just took a bath and told oga am going to bed early, that probably due to the stress, the BH contraction is back.
Went to bed by 10pm couldn't sleep, every 45mins this contractions will come. Ahhah! Which kain false contractions get time like this, went to the bathroom checked. No show, no mucus plug, no water.God help me oo. Went back to bed. 12am contractions every 20mins.chineke! This can't be false again na, went to the bathroom, still no show, no mucus plug, no water. I started praying 'God please I don't understand anymore, am sorry i wanted to skip work ooo, pls just let this contractions stop oo, I will go to work tomorrow' for where.i woke hubby please gimme paracetamol. He asked are u in labor I said I dont know ooooo, should we go to the hospital? I said I no. 1245am contraction becaming longer and every 5mins. I told hubby hospital ooooooo.i had pulled my pyjamas n thrown oneside I was walking to n fro the parlor praying. Oga jus grabbed one free gown threw over my head I just put one hand in , open the door started walking down stairs barefoot.Dh was lke wait ur slippers.i didnt even ans.when the contractions come.i jus pause n grab the railings.my sister carried my box.thank God I packed.
Got downstairs opened the door I climbed in, dh realise I forgot my hospital card, he asked my sister to close the car door wen I go in since i was now moving in slow motion, the contraction was every 1min n lasted 10secs longer.and den ran in to get my handbag
As I jus put on leg in, another contraction came with the urge to poo.as I pushed baby head came out.i just shouted my baby is coming oooo, next 30secs senod contraction baby body slipped out.i jus held my baby crying my baby is here ooo.my sister almosted fainted .she screamed out my whole neighbourhood out from their sleep.hubby ran down stairs carefully moved the other leg in the car closed the door and drove james bond to the hospital. As God will have it all the estate security was still at their duty post by 1am.the opened the gate fast.we went to the nearest hospital.wen the gate man saw how hubby dove he ran away from the gate probably tinking it was robbers. I just told hubby lets go to my hospital pls.we raced down there.got the nurses.they came to the car cut the cord.took baby for suctioning n cleaning. Then helped me to the labour room where I delivered the placenta and was stitched.
Tank God for his mercies.he is really a faithful God.
Team july thats how june snatched me ooooooo.
Congrats to all team july that haf delivered, those still waddling more grace. May God make it easy for all of us oooo.

She is so cute.Congratulations Mama, God bless our beautiful princess. DNA07: B.S I’m grateful to God almighty for this journey. I remembered joining this thread last year March after I took in and as a ftm, I started getting all the lessons with respect to pregnancy from this great family. I was #TeamDecember but unfortunately lost the pregnancy at 12wks in June 2017. It was an experience I wouldn’t wish for my enemy. But thank God for his infinite mercies for giving me another opportunity. After then, I joined the peepers forum and kept praying that I’ll announce my BFP soon and by September, God did it again. I became #TeamJune 2018. Throughout this journey I never experienced MS, no cravings, everything went normal. I can’t count the number of times I went to the hospital to check if I was still pregnant...lol. By 6 wks I was placed on duphaston progesterone tablets due to my history and I stopped at 12 wks. Countdown to EDD, no show, no signs, no nothing, after dotting my i’s and crossing my t’s o. But then God’s time is always the best. I became worried and started getting anxious. Thanks to some mamas here who shared their experiences that there was nothing to worry about. I had an appointment with my dr for induction on Saturday as I was 41wks+. On Saturday morning, I took my bag to the hospital and by past 9, the process started. A tablet was inserted into my VG for 1 hr to induce labour and then I was left alone. I didn’t feel anything for hours. Then mild cramps started about 4 hrs later and I was checked to be 2cm dilated. After about 3 hrs, I was just 3cm gone. The VE was out of this world!!! Nurse said, “you never see anything” After another 4 hrs, I was 6cm gone, and then the drama started. No progression, contractions were reducing so I was given pitosin drip. The pain was unexplainable!!! By this time, I was screaming the whole hospital down. Hubby, my mum and sister got their own share too as I shout at them anytime contraction hit me. By past 12am, I was still on 8cm, I couldn’t cry...the pain was out of this world. I was just begging God to finish what he had started. By this time, they had broken my water. By past 2am, I was fully dilated. Time to push, I couldn’t, baby was big. The nurse gave me a cut and I tried to push, nothing. After 3 pushes, nothing! Ah! I was begging my hubby that we should do something else, I was tired. I was then given glucose injections. And then tried to push, nothing. After the 5th push, my princess came out tearing me in several places. She was cleaned and handed over to me and hubby. Later the placenta was delivered. I was stitched and I’m still recovering from the pains. Labour took about 16hrs. Thanks to God almighty for a safe delivery. Thanks to this wonderful family for all the lessons. Thanks to my teamies for their care and support. #TeamJune mamas rock! And that’s how my June princess became a July princess. Cc: ayauche, FloraEC I wish all remaining waddling mothers a stress free journey and a supernatural childbirth. B.S submitted.
