Good day everyone, I submitted my Canada visit visa in October with my husband which I havnt gotten a response. I applied for a normal visit visa before I found out I was even pregnant and before then I had a USA visa interview appointment which I booked over a year ago even before I dreamt of getting pregnant. This week was the interview, obviously pregnant and I declared I wanted to have my baby in the USA which I was refused. My question is please will this in anyway affect the outcome of my Canadian application considering that they share information , thank you as you reply

I don't think so because the US visa refusal happened after you had submitted your Canadian visa application.

No, he's good to go since it's just 1 lay over in the Schengen region .. He'd need a Schengen visa if there are 2 stop overs in Europe.

Ok, thank you. The nonrefundable part is still worrying me.
Travel / Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Bigkenny: 11:53am On Mar 06
I saw this nonrefundable plane ticket online (Klm website), and I am planning to book it for my brother.

Departure on Air France: LOS (Lagos) - CDG {Paris) - YYZ (Toronto)

Return on KLM: YYZ (Toronto) - AMS (Amsterdam) - LOS (Lagos)

$1440

The ticket is
- Nonrefundable
- One checked bag and one carryon

To depart June 2 and return June 16

Do you think he will need a Schengen visa?

Please tell me what he needs before I book this ticket.

I don't want to lose this money.

good evening brother it’s been more than 5 months since I applied I have even requested for my gcms note which landed last and the application is still processing but each time I try to use this ircc tracker it doesn’t go beyond the next step button, it will just reload and nothing more please how do I track it as I don’t have login details only my agent does, he also didn’t use my email to apply as i have not been getting mails

If you don't have access to the email address he used for your visa application then you can't create an ''application status tracker'' account. This is because a verification code will be sent to the email, and you need the code to create a password for the application status tracker.

Thank you very much for your kind response.

I already got the link to make payment during my research, but what I don’t know is how to send the receipt/proof of payment to the IRCC.

When I log on to my account via GCKey, there’s no option to add any other document to my application as my application has already been approved (awaiting my passport).

Is there something else I’m missing that I’m not seeing? Do you know how I can send the receipt to the IRCC? Can you direct me?

Thank you very much for helping out.

Please share the link you use to make payment with me.

So I just called the Nigerian Embassy in Qatar, And guess what? It's was Indian Guy that spoke to me, imagine that. Someone informed me that it's not strange to find foreigners working in Nigerian embassies.

Are you saying foreigners can't work for the Nigerian government either here in Nigeria or abroad? Do you know how many Nigerians work at the US, Canadian, and UK embassies?

Please i have a question is it that there's no one here that applied for visit visa to visit thier spouse that is an international student because i have not seen any update regarding that here.its past 3months and am still waiting for response with no update at all after biometric update...heard u can get ppr even without eligibility not showing it started on your profile pls how true is that?thanks.

If you don't hear from them after 5 months from the day of biometrics, then you can email them to inquire about your application. Right now, it's too early to start worrying about an application that's still within the processing time frame.

You can also use the link below to track your application.

This has nothing to do with a Nigerian passport. This dude was unable to provide the required documents. Nigerians like to cry foul play for everything that happened to them. Please tell me when do will start to take cash to the embassy as proof fund.

I applied for a tourist short stay visa to the Netherlands.
I'd already booked my flight to and fro, attached my company documents, my medical license, employment letter, proof of fund, medical insurance, hotel bookings and purpose of visit. Yet i was denied visa.
Please what do i do next.

My flight was booked via Royal air maroc. Someone suggested i get a morrocan transit visa but i don't understand how that can help me. Please kindly advise me.

What was the reason given for the refusal?

I don't think there's anything one can do in this type of situation. I know one thing for sure, which is I am not going to slap my grandma as a way to defend my mom. I will try my best to be the peacemaker or ask my mom to leave to calm down the ugly situation.

When preparing an application for a visa, it is better to source travel insurance online through any of the insurance companies we have here in Nigeria than go to the ''Visa application center'' to buy one.

I bought 30-day travel insurance through AXA for 9700 naira, but I was shocked when a friend of mine told me he paid about 105k naira for 1-month travel insurance he bought through the TLS contact at the ''visa application center''.

Buying travel insurance online by yourself or buying it through Tlscontact is not going to influence the outcome of the visa application.

This is 2024; we need to spend wisely.

I submitted my application in December and is still in progress as of now. I want to pay for a new biometric because the one on file will expire soon, but I have a problem doing this because I forgot the answers to security questions or hints for the IRCC online payment service.

Can anyone explain to me what to do in this case?

Hello guys. I want to apply for French Transit Visa and i saw one of the requirements to include; confirmed round trip air tickets. My confusion is in the fact that the transit visa would take 15 days to be decided on and one is advised not to book any travel arrangements before approval. Are the confirmed round trip tickets not part of the travel arrangement? Do i need to book and pay for my trip before i apply for a french transit visa?

Don't buy a confirmed ticket yet; a round-trip flight reservation with other necessary documents is okay to use to support your application.

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!

I am in the process of applying for a French tourist visa for myself, my fiancée, and her mother. I'm uncertain about whether we can submit our applications together, though I'm hopeful. The reason for my uncertainty is that I have previously obtained a French Tourist visa and travelled to Paris for a week. I currently hold a valid US visa, and so does her mother. Unfortunately, my fiancée has faced an earlier visa denial and a missed appointment. I have a travel history that includes visits to various countries in North America, the Middle East, and Africa.

Given our plan to apply as a family, I'm wondering if we can be considered "frequently travelled" Additionally, I'm seeking advice on whether Abuja or Lagos is a better option for the visa application. Our purpose for visiting France is to celebrate her mother's birthday and conduct a pre-wedding photo shoot.

I would greatly appreciate any recommendations on what location is best, what should be included in the application and if it is possible for us to apply as frequent traveller.

Once each French visa application has been completed for the 3 applicants, go to the TLScontact website to schedule a group appointment. Because of your travel history, you, your fiancee, and your fiancee's mom all qualify as frequent travelers by making one group appointment together.

Also, it will be nice to take one of your family members (especially your mom) along with you and don't be like my older brother, who doesn't think anything in life is important other than his wife, and his wife's parents.

His mother-in-law has visited Canada more than five times since he married his wife six years ago. He brought his wife to Canada through the student route and helped his wife's parents get a visa to attend his wedding in Canada, but he abandoned his own parents.

Now my mom is in the US for the past 2 months to visit my sister, but my brother has been crying like a little bitch because he asked my mom a question ''do you want to visit me in Canada'', my mom said no and told him to call his wife's parent to visit him.

thank you for you response, how will one go about the electronic transmission something that now required and is it true that visitors visa holder can apply for working parmit?

That's not true; you can't do a paid job or apply for a work permit. Under the new rule, visitors will be allowed to continue to work (such as attending a Teams meeting or writing up a report) for an overseas employer while staying in the UK, and those who want to work remotely can only do this for an overseas employer.

Those traveling to the UK are still bound by the immigration rules, which give zero chances for a visitor to get a paid job while visiting the UK on a standard visitor visa.

Getting a basic job, such as serving in a bar or cleaning in a hotel, is still illegal.
