Hello good nairalanders, please let me not say too much but rather go straight to the point. Been over two weeks now I had a panic attack and the feelings are like I'm loosing consciousness, feeling detached from reality as well as finding it difficult to focus on reality as I am always in deep fears as if I'm dying or I'm going to ascend into another realm which I might not return. I can't walk a distance of 2 mins with fear. Firstly I felt it was an attack spiritually and I went to church stayed two days at the church cos I stay alone and I needed to stay where could give me some hope. After that week and some days later I managed to travel to meet my people as I felt that could also help, at home I went to a teaching hospital to see a doctor and we had a few interactions about what happened so according to the doctor he said what I had was something close to a panic attack he gave me some encouragement and prescribed some drugs (seroxat) and phatonic plus which is general immune booster. Now the problem is that I feel better sometimes and sometimes as if the panic still lingers. Also I have sick reactions like stomach upset and vomiting , difficulty sleeping and shaky body(like I tremble while working/lack of balance) I could hold my phone and my hands would just be vibrating(while taking the drugs). Please are these drug reactions (sick feelings) and has anyone had same experience? LEST I forget Sometime around 2017 I had an intense fear/anxiety of doom for like 5days so can it be the reason for the panic attack and this year I've really been depressed? This is the third time it happened(panic attack) , but the one that really got me is the last one which is reason for the write up. Has anyone else experienced this or know who did? How did you overcome? Please you can indicate so I'll hit up. I need help🙏
