Take home salary is less than the salary stated on the appointment letter. U pay tax and pension, NHF etc. Tax and pension might remove close to 60k monthly if you are on level 8. I don't know for other level or if it has changed (increased/decreased)

APL salary can mislead someone, it's take home salary that matters.

I was supposed to be transferred today but the pencomm portal for transfer is down.

For those that filled pension forms, u can't receive your RSA immediately, it will be sent to you later. My best guess is we submit it in camp.
I have RSA already so I didn't fill it. The custom officer asked me to go the my pension administrator's office and link with it. It basically means changing from my old employer to NCS which is my new employer.
Just to fill out few details and provide photocopy of my appointment letter

For those saying one day is for collection of APL and the next is for documentation, that's not true. We are through with documentation and one of the comptrollers overseeing it all has said even if it is 8pm or later, they'll document everyone there today.

Most people are done and can travel back even though I was hearing some stuffs about registering for pension but some officers said anyone who isn't living nearby can travel back and do that later.


Edit: by document everyone there, I mean every C08 present

NCS, like all other revenue generating agencies are not normally captured under FG annual budget as their expensitures don't come directly from FG coffers. They operate based on certain percentage of total revenue they collect. That of NCS I think is 7%. Therefore, they seperately prepare and make their budget defense. I'm trying to say that whatever that is delaying this recruitment issue has nothing to do with national budget whatsoever.

I suggest we channel the energies we invest on these unnecessary predictions and counter predictions towards prayers and doing other thinks that'll add value to our lives. With or without NCS life goes on!
