The Management of Veepee Industries Ltd, which is part of the Veepee Group of Companies donated a Borehole, Water tank and all other related items to ANSAR-UD-DEEN Senior Comprehensive High School, Lafenwa-OTA, Ogun State,Nigeria.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Veepee Industries Limited have been comended for the noble Philantropic act by the Principal, staff and students of the school. In addition to saving money on purchasing water, the health of the students has been benefitted by drinking clean and fresh water.

The Complete project was executed as a Turn-key project by SAMK Technical works under guidance from the engineers of Veepee Industries Ltd. Sango Ota. As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility this project was executed as fast as possible to ensure that the benefits reach the students at the earliest. As it is said drops of water make an ocean, small acts like this from the business community at Ota are welcome and appreciated.

On 22nd December 2009 early morning there was a fire at Shongai Packaging Industry Limited at Sango-Ota. Fortunately, prompt response from the Fire fighting personnel of Veepee Industries Ltd. who happened to be their neighbours to the call saved precious lives and property.

The prompt and effective response to the incident shows that humans can respond to such distress calls whereever it happens. Many say that things happen very slowly in Nigeria, but this incident goes to prove them wrong.

The Board, Management and Staff of Shongai Packaging Industry Ltd. have promptly ackowledged the prompt response by sending a letter of appreciation to the MD of Veepee Industries Ltd. for the extraordinary Corporate Social Responsibility shown by them.

Such an incident during the Festival season is surely not welcome, however the prompt and timely response of the Fire fighting personnel helps to revive the spirits.
