iit's like most of u here on Nairaland have not hear or even know about spiritualist making money for people in Ghana. Have not hear anyone talked about it here in and it baffles me. precisely people that have made it through using such means choose to remain silent.
However, it's carried out asking the beneficiaries to come with $1000 that will be used to buy items needed to do the work and after the work is done, the beneficiary earns $100,000 in returns. Although it all depends on how much u can raise for the work, if u can raise more than $1000, u will sure make more than $100,000 return. The process is referred to as Instant Money Making. in other words, it comes with no future effects and it's advisable one key into it to make money and be rich.
if u are interested u can mention me and If u want, I will give u contact of different spiritualist u can choose from but I personally have choose one already cos he has earn my trust already.
i"m sharing this piss cos i'm looking for someone to go Ghana with me.
Some people have used this means to make money but they wouldn't tell u thus, u are left in the dark thinking how they made such money within a short period of time

Health / Re: Staphylococcus Aureus Is Ruining My Life! Nairaland Please Help! by Bjergtrolde: 3:19pm On Feb 05, 2019
Unhealthy:
I had to open this new moniker so that I can share my problems without any shame

I developed the staphylococcus infection last year through toilet I life has been so terrible for me.

I have been battling with constant headache, fatigue and shortness of breath, and a worm like movement in my body for a long time. Sometimes I feel numbness on the part of my body and it's really affecting me. My boss has been complaining about my incompetence at work and it's possible I lose my job if things continue this way

I've gone to several hospitals and spend a lot of money to conduct series of test after which blood culture revealed I have a heavy growth of Staphylococcus Aureus.

I took the result to a doctor and he prescribed Pefloaxin for me and I also took five injection to flush this bacteria and it seemed like I was getting out of the bond of this bacteria until the symptoms returned back few weeks later.

I decided to resort to Nairaland because most of the doctors I've gone to are incompetent, and I don't want to take too much antibiotics so that my body will not become resistant to it.. The way this staph is affecting me is becoming unbearable. I can't sleep or breath well

Someone suggested I go to general hospital since they seem to be more experienced but all na the same. They are always too much in a hurry to attend to patients and prescribe drugs.

Please if you have treated this stubborn infection before, how did you manage to cure it completely? Did you use drugs or herbs?

I know many carriers of this bacteria normally get scammed by online advertisers and I know they will flood this thread with their fake herbal drugs. Please I need you to come to my aid and don't look for a way to swindle money from me with ineffective drugs

Here is the result of my test.

Please help me move this to the FP for a wider audience

A few things.

1) Blood culture after 7 days? 3 days would suffice

2) Staph bacteraemia in an otherwise non septic patient is most likely to be a contaminant not cause of illness

3) The lab is dodgy. Try Me Cure . They are in several locations in Lagos for a reputable laboratory.

4) From your symptoms, whatever ails you, is not due to Staph Infection

5) You need to start afresh and see a general physician preferably someone who works in a teaching hospital

6) I wish you speedy recovery

bilms:
Atiku missed his chance in 2007 says ANN Presidential candidate, Olawepo-Hashim

Journalist turned civil rights activist and politician, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim was a prominent figure in the formation and early days of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He left the party and the country just about the final crisis of the PDP in the Olusegun Obasanjo era to focus on his business cutting across oil and international investments.

The Kebbi State born Olawepo-Hashim was recently adopted as the presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN and also by the Olisa Agbakoba led Peoples Trust

In this interview, the presidential candidate speaks on his prospects, his prescriptions and his place in the brewing political battle for Nigeria.

Excerpts: What is your response to the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the PDP?

By all standards, the Waziri of Adamawa is qualified to be the President of Nigeria. Having been Vice President before, but the 2019 election is a different election, I think Vice President Atiku missed his chance of being president in 2007 and talking about in 2019 is like talking about the future of Nigeria and at the same time facing and reasoning backward.

80% of Nigerians want to see a new direction, they don’t want to go backward, and Vice President Atiku Abubakar is a man of yesterday.

What competitive edge do you have over him going into this election?

Number one, I will be able to unite the country, I will be able to build a strong economy given my experience. I’m that candidate that majority of voters particularly first-time voters and who are very significant, almost about 15 million of them, who are not supporters of APC or PDP. And then, my friends in PDP and APC who have made up their mind that when it comes to presidential election ‘we will vote Gbenga,’ that’s an edge I have going for me. I believe, no other candidate in this election has that.

What are the basic ingredients of the alliance that ANN has forged with People’s Trust and other political parties as reported?

The People’s Trust, the PT is a party promoted by National Intervention Movement. The whole idea is to key in into the strategy of national intervention movement that promoted for almost one year running now. So this is not just any initiative, it’s just being consolidated and taken up some further steps. I think the issue is to build a stronger political platform that’s also committed to the idea of national unity, economic development, security in the land and to have a Nigeria where the life of every citizen will count and no discrimination against anyone regardless of your ethnic descent and religious beliefs and a true federal system, these are some of the issues that the platform is committed to. I think the alliance with the National Intervention Movement shows you that this is the natural platform that I belong to. The leader was the president of the Civil Liberty Organization while I was the national administrative secretary of the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights. In 1990 with me and some other patriotic Nigerians, some are late today; we travelled the whole of northern Nigeria consistently for about three weeks in a bus to get the consensus of our people on how to end military rule. I think most importantly for me, and my priority is to expand the GDP of Nigeria because this is the most important issue and the economy is too small for 180 million people. If you consider that even in 2013, when Nigeria made a lot of money from oil sales, the country made less than 50 billion dollars in total revenue, that same year Disneyworld a private company that markets entertainment in Florida made 47 billion dollars. So for 180 million people that revenue base is too small and its GDP of 510 billion even though it was celebrated as being the biggest in Africa as at 2013 equals to poverty, and that’s why you see that almost two-thirds of the country’s population still live below two dollars in a day. And that’s why you see that the life expectancy rate in Nigeria is 53 whereas, in Liberia that experienced civil war and Ebola on a max scale, their life expectancy rate is 61, Sudan is 63. We need to build a bigger economy, and the New Economic Development Programme (NEP) which we have planned will move Nigeria from 410 billion US dollars to 4 trillion dollars in ten years, and that will bring our average per capita income to be at par with countries like Malaysia, Thailand.

Atiku this, Atiku that. Nothing on the incumbent. This show that this chap is working for APC

The inference above is the medical Hippocratic oath of secrecy that protects the rights of patients and their medical records from being divulged to a third party. Health and ill-health is often a deeply personal journey and the fear of stigma and shame keeps many sufferers from seeking medical attention. So it is of the utmost importance that personal information shared remains between the patient and the care giver.

Since a handful of Nigerians are interested in the veracity of the report, the DSS should immediately arrest the reporters of both Premium Times and The Nation as well as the Miyetti Allah Boss. This will:

i. Enable them to carry out proper investigation to determine whether the Miyetti Allah man actually made such damning revelation which will qualify him for prompt prosecution.

ii. If the report was false, the reporters should be made to face the wrath of the law to serve as deterrents to other purveyors of fake news, capable of aggravating the already tensed situations in the nation.

The Acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has said that the country has recovered N500 billion and secured 486 convictions since he took over in November 2015 till date.

He made this known at the commissioning of the commission’s new head office in Abuja on Tuesday.

“In 2018 alone, we have secured 89 convictions. Thus so far, we have secured 486 convictions from November 2015 till date. We have recovered funds in different currencies and, so far, we have recovered more than N500 billion.

“The recoveries meant for the Federal Government are duly remitted to its account while recoveries for individuals and private institutions are equally paid to them in accordance with the law.

“We are also making strides as it relates to the prosecution of high-profile cases. For instance, for the first time in the history of Nigeria, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria was convicted in a case prosecuted by the EFCC.

“I, therefore, again, restate the commitment of the Commission to the fight against corruption.

“We do not go after innocent citizens, we go after those who have stolen and arrogated same to themselves, like President Buhari has said.”

Dignitaries at the event included President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House Representtives, Yakubu Dogara, and Commonwealth Secretary General Baroness Patricia Scotland.

autojosh:
Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode has left no one in doubt that he is not here for jokes.

At the inception of his administration, he set a target of building and reconstructing 50 roads in Lagos to commemorate “Lagos at 50”. It was quite an ambitious target. Nonetheless, the man accomplished it.

Another target that his administration set was the elimination of “Danfo” – together with keke Marwa, from all major roads in Lagos state, and replace them with luxury metro buses.

As part of the ongoing process leading to removing Danfos and Keke Marwa from major roads in Lagos is the constructions of over 100 bus stops, lay bys, bus terminals, etc.

In line with that plan, the state government had set aside a N30 billion sinking fund to transform public transportation in Lagos.

Although the set deadline to achieve this has been exceeded by some months, the blame, however, for the delay is being laid at the feet of services providers who have been rather slow in relocating some of their underground infrastructures at locations where these new bus stops and lay bys are to be constructed.

That notwithstanding, there is no doubt that a a few months from now that plan will be achieved.

Currently, all across Lagos state, brand new bus-stops, lay bys and slip roads are being constructed. In a matter of months, Lagos will be celebrating hundreds of new bus stops and bus terminals.

In addition to the construction of transport infrastructure in Lagos, there is a an ongoing plan by the Ambode administration to introduce about 5000 brand new buses before the end of the year.

Indeed, Ambode is not joking.

….Anxiety as bomb explosion rocks Nwodo’s country home

….I won’t be deterred from leading my people—Nwodo

By Emeka Mamah ENUGU—THERE was anxiety in Enugu yesterday, following the explosion of Improvised Explosive Device, IED, at the country home of the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, at Ukehe, in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of the state.

The incident happened at about 5.30 am when members of the household were getting ready for the early morning Sunday mass. A statement by Nwodo’s Media Aide, Emeka Attamah confirmed the bomb attack. Police Spokesman in the state, Superintendent Ebere Amaraizu also confirmed that there was an explosion in Nwodo’s house saying that investigations had started to unravel the reasons and those behind it. The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned the attack on Nwodo’ s compound saying it was the handiwork of “terrorists disguised as herdsmen.”

Earlier,on Saturday, the IPOB, circulated a message reportedly signed by the Legal Adviser to Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Barr Chuka Momah, raising an alarm, over alleged plans by security agencies to bomb public places including schools and police stations as well as kill innocent citizens in a bid to incriminate IPOB and make it look like a terrorist organisation. Nwodo’s media aide, Attamah’s statement read in part: “A bomb explosion took place today (yesterday) Sunday, April 29, 2018, in the country home of the President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo. A cursory look by the Police Bomb Disposal Unit suggested it was an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, that was hurled over the fence into the compound causing damage to the windows, the ceiling of one of the houses in the compound and an air-conditioning units.

“The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Danmallam Mohammed, accompanied by the Area Commander for Nsukka Police Command and the Divisional Police Officer for Igbo Etiti LGA, were there to inspect the scene of the bomb blast, which created a crater in the compound. “The Commissioner ordered that security be beefed up in and around Chief Nwodo’s compound and promised that the perpetrators would soon be identified and brought to justice. “Earlier, the Commander of the Bomb Disposal Unit, DSP John Aniche, had briefed both the Commissioner and Chief Nwodo on the items they collected from the scene including batteries, pellets and other materials used in preparing the IED and said that they would be carefully scrutinised and analysed. “Welcoming the Commissioner to his home, Chief Nwodo expressed surprise that anybody would be after his life but added that the incident would not deter him from leading his people. “He thanked the Commissioner for his prompt response to the incident.

Ekweremadu condemns attack
The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has condemned in strong terms the bombing of the country home of the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, in Ukehe, Enugu State. He said: “I call on the security agencies to get to the root of this devilish act and ensure that the culprits and masterminds are brought to book immediately.”

Reacting to the explosion in Nwodo’s house later, the IPOB said that those seeking to implicate IPOB will end up implicating themselves The organisation in its statement signed by the Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful said: “The organisers of this terror campaign intend to divert attention from the massive embarrassment and public humiliation that awaits ‘Buhari’ in Washington DC courtesy of IPOB in the USA. “They may have wrongly calculated that embarking on mass murder and destruction is the only way to convince the US authorities that IPOB is a terrorist organisation deserving of proscription and extra judicial executions.” Whatever the motives of these terrorists, they have failed woefully. Our modus operandi remains the same – a sustained campaign of civil disobedience, targeted global campaigns, protests, boycotts and rallies.”

It does not help when IPOB youth have made it a habit to attack and threaten harm on Nwodo. Perhaps this would teach people to be more circumspect in their utterances.

Kogi state university medical students are currently in the school senate building protesting for the accreditation of the faculty of medicine that has not been accredited by the medical council for 5 years now.. The students has been in the faculty for 7 years without professional examination to qualify them for clinical training in the teaching hospital.

pls take this to front page for the world to see it.
We really need the government to expedite actions to Accrediting the college.

Why don't they arrange with another accredited medical school to have them take that school's exit exam? Lazy school management.

Agriculture / Re: Why Nigerian Slay Queens Should Embrace Agriculture by Bjergtrolde: 4:30pm On Mar 12, 2018
Opinionated:
By Yakubu Jimoh

Recently, I was given a task by my boss to find out some certain things on agriculture. As I was doing the research, I learnt many things and discovered a lot. I started with Rwanda, because I am going to the eastern part of Africa. I discovered 2 sisters, Fidelis Karangwa and Consolata Nakure who have been doing great in agriculture. When they finished from university, they saved some money for creating jobs themselves while still having paid employment.

They had the dream to become farmers, they went to Kigali Farms to recieve training on cultivating mushroom. They tried in the first instance, they failed but they kepy trying till they were successful. They have made a name for themselves in Kigali and are training youths and local farmers on mushroom farming. Presently, they have empowered and employed 10 people.

I look forward to visiting them in Kigali.

They succeeded due to 3 reasons:

1. Determination: They were determined to become farmers, some family and friends tried to discourage them. Luckily for them, their dad was supportive of thier dream. Papa was supporting them with finance and advice, they were determined.

2. Commitment: These 2 sisters were committed and serious in becoming latest agricpreneur in Rwanda, they were never discouraged by thier gender status. They never saw themselves as slay queens or big ladies, they knew what they want to achieve.

3. Patience: Thier mushroom failed in the first instance, they didn’t give up, They went to another training and their patience and persistence later paid off for them.

I want to commend President Paul Kagame of Rwanda for keying into agriculture, 75% Of Rwandans are farmers. This is what they are using to build thier nation and economy after the 1994 Genocide. They are doing great in mushroom, tea and coffee.

To my Nigerian sisters, stop pursuing white collar jobs, go for agriculture. Start something and do something, stop blaming the government or lack of funds.

Instead of buying Brazilian hair, fixing nails, buying big phones and costly dresses, minimize your spending, go into farming.

Take action today and see how supports will roll in.

Business / Re: Thailand’s Rice Export To Nigeria Drops By 91% by Bjergtrolde: 8:23am On Jan 15, 2018
BrandSpurNG:
Against the backdrop of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s policy of zero allocation of dollars for the importation of 41 items, including rice; import of rice from Thailand to Nigeria dropped from 1.23 million metric tonnes in 2014 to 23,192 metric tonnes as at November 2017.

According to data on the Thai Rice Exporters Association website, the value of these exports also dropped to 324 million Thai baht (from 8.2 billion Thai Bhat).

Thailand’s rice export to Nigeria (180 million people):

2014 — 1,239,810 metric tonnes2015 — 644,1312016 — 58,2602017 — 23,197

At this rate, by 2020 Nigeria will be exporting rice?

Thailand’s rice export to Benin (10.8 million people):

2015 — 805,7652016 — 1,427,0982017 — 1,647,387

Industry sources believe that the reduction in Nigeria’s importation trend was facilitated by the successful implementation of the Anchor Borrowers’ scheme of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), from which many states had benefited.

He said: “We have got to get used to discipline and direction in economic management. The days of business, as usual, are numbered. Two years ago, I appealed to people to go back to the land. “I am highly gratified that agriculture has picked up, contributing to the government’s effort to restructure the economy.“Rice imports will stop this year. Local rice, fresher and more nutritious variants would be on our dishes from now on.”

According to Buhari:

“Great nations are built by enterprising people who turn their hands to anything that circumstances dictate.”

To intensify local production, Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agriculture (NIRSAL) is deploying an innovative nation-wide field structure to support 225,000 farmers under the CBN Anchor Borrowers Scheme.

Curiously though, Nigeria’s neighbours, Republic of Benin, recorded an astronomical increase in rice imports from Thailand, from 805,765 metric tonnes in 2015 to 1,647,387 million metric tonnes as at November 2017 — leading to suspicion that the drop in Nigeria’s import may not have to do with the claim by the Federal Government that the country now produces enough rice for domestic consumption, but the zero dollar allocation that has placed the burden of sourcing foreign exchange for the importation of the affected 41 items on the importer.

Meanwhile, Thailand is expected to have some 9.5 million tons of rice for export this year, a senior government official said.

The 9.5 million tons of the Thai rice will bring some 4.7 billion U.S. dollars in export value throughout 2018, according to acting Foreign Trade Department director-general Adul Chotinisakorn.

That compared to last year’s 11.48 million tons of the Thai rice which secured 5.1 billion U.S. dollars in export value, the acting department chief said.

However, Thailand has remained the world’s largest exporter of Hom Mali (fragrant jasmine) quality rice, he said.

The forecast drop in the export volume of the Thai rice would apparently result from unfavorable weather conditions and the government’s policy to cut down the overall producing volume for fear of oversupply to the world market.
