Oga you quoted the wrong dude simple. From my reply to Black11, Robocop is not who you should quote. He just clarified a misconception about the word "automation" being only Engineering related. As I said earlier, I.T is a global skill and its application is crawling into different fields. An I.T guy might or might not know about the fundamentals of Refinery. A geologist might or might not know about let's say Networking. As Humans we learn what we think we will need.

For the advice about quoting people out of context, I think you need that lesson more. Cheers.

The team setup for this, completed the task the moment they submitted their recommendations to management. Which I believe was delivered within the stipulated time frame. However, take nothing away from the poster that said this recruitment may not necessarily be the most pressing issue in NNPC as of today. That being said, whatever is left of the process is almost over. Everyone chill.

NNPC won't because of our nervousness run her organization like a one man business. List is set but scores must be settled ,the organization also have other pressing issues calling her attention other than this recruitment. Very soon you will hear from them.

All theory has been rendered useless. NNPC has always paid every invitee. Mind you, someone here said he/she got TF a year after the recruitment process n didn't get APL. So the theory of NNPC compensating unsuccessful applicant only does not hold water.

Programming is like a horse to a Calvary soldier, It is good you know it but you also need a shield, fighting skill and a good brain to make second order thinking. With institutes springing left and write teaching different facets of IT, why won't guys from other courses delve into IT.

They are simply delving into it because it is lucrative. The job market is saturated, so they try to immerse themselves with a global skill which we can say ICT is at the vanguard.

Surely, NNPC will employ more Engineers, there is no dispute to that.

2. HSE supervisor at the towers was not paid (as of July 9, 2019 my interview date)
3. Someone that didnt make it was paid long time after the recruitment (this was also narrated in this forum by the person. Can search for it).

The list & the whole recruitment process report was submitted to melee on Thursday, it remain only endorsement of the list. Which he ought to have on Friday, but for reasons best known to him, he didn't even open any of the two docs.

Like i said, All thing's being equal, this week, APL/SMS Notification should go out to the successfuls.

The recruitment process is fairly transparent, at least 15-30% was finally designated for the common man's ward. lolsss

Should you not receive tfare alert before APL/SMS notification starts falling on people, irrespective of you yourself got APL/SMS notification or not, you're most likely not gonna see that Tfare Alert again (It's common sense, don't ask of my source).

Hmmm this is how Nigerians look for trouble ooo. Go through all my post, which took long before I started even commenting, no stupid unnecessary questions, no battering or insults, no ABT, FILT, 1%T, or any other theory, I didn't join the bandwagon of first class or not, SEM or SEMT, no engineering vs others, I didn't talk about mosgoon, kevlala and others despite that everybody is carrying it on their heads like gala. And aside 2 days ago when I was online and commenting throughout I do few per day and only with a certain set of people (u know them and they know themselves). So why can't you let us slide while you guys talk about every other thing.

I enjoyed this thread and if we all carry things on our head including the wait on APL then we will all be apprehensive and agitated, everyone will be on edge. But from testimonies, you have heard of how people come here to unwind, laff and have fun, to the end that when APL drops all will be well.

So my father (since I am a kid, you know it's what somebody calls another old man with bald head, world don spoil now all them people wey no use Motorola and trium and their colleagues come get iPhone, Samsung, or one Android phone feels he is matured and can call other people kids, no respect) no vex say I be pikin. But dey your dey make I dey my dey.

My advice, please show respect to people on "faceless" platforms like this. It doesn't cost you anything. Having worked in the Bank and as an up and coming Accountant, using the trend, postulation, hypothesis and all sorts here, these are my submissions.

1. NNPC has decided to use an unorthodox method in selecting the successful candidates, especially given it was a subjective interview involving thousands of candidates.

2. NNPC sent us text and mails concerning the interview, was it not done simultaneously? Was there a delay of more than a day amongst recepients? Which leads me to the next point.

3. NNPC has one of the best database any organisation can have (reason being they have the resources) Their IT department is up and doing, the only detail that was missing during the point of registration is our Bank details right?

What then would it cost them (time and money) to collate our Bank data (reconcile it with their database) group everyone according to Bank, send to the Accounting department then to the respective Banks for simultaneous pay. If at all some people didn't receive on the day, it should have been few with discrepancies in their account name or number. Mind you, Banks process payment for Civil/Public workers of various States and Government institutions in less than 2 days (that's if they are really busy).

The process came to an end on the 10th and first payment came on the 16th (mind you, the details of everyone was vetted each day immediately after the interview, so there was no back log. The details of the first day, were vetted the next day and so on.)

So, they had the opportunity to pay everyone at once, everyone, but what then did they do? Pay in batches, now this is the catch and d big question. It's the final piece missing in this Jigsaw.

The hypothesis of someone fixing it in a Fixed Deposit doesn't hold water, if it were true, the pay wouldn't have come as quick as it came.


These are my final thoughts;

1. Each 29 or 39 panels had numbers of candidates allotted to them, some where more busy than the others. My panel had a minus of 2 persons on my interview day, perhaps, they were less busy and so submitted their report early, which led me to being among the first batch of payees paid by Mr Farouk.

I think NNPC can't pay until some panels are through with their submissions, hence the batch payment, some panels might have not concluded on their submissions.

If u recall, some members of the panel are extremely busy people and some flew in just because of this process.

This is my submission.

It seemed the theory of Farouk/King Ayam is true really. Dunno to what extend though.

My father-in-law works @ NNPC, said they have been systematically sorting out the final list/database of successful candidates thru the credit alerts actually. That may be why it's taking so long to process everything. He knows that one of these two guys is processed for successful candidates, while the other handles unsuccessful ones. But he doesn't know which is which for now.

Whatever the case sha, some of us are settled.
