Romance / Re: My Brother And The Wife Had Sex In My Room, Why Won't She Wash The Sheets? by blackeli: 2:18pm On Feb 15, 2021
Guy, you have a problem which if you do not deal with, would destroy you when you eventually decide to settle down, and even when you have to work with others.
Your elder brothers wife is equally your elder Sister irrespective of age. You are living with them, and she is the woman of the house, If they had expected you would be returning at the time you returned, they probably wouldn't get busy in the bedroom you use. However in spite of this, you simple could take off the sheets, and wash or politely request if She has a change of sheets, you could use for the night, Soak the ones used and wash them the next day.
You are part of a society where no one exist in a vacuum, and where you would always need another's help. If you keep up this self centered selfish attitude of not being able to accommodate a little discomfort, then you have a life of problems to deal with. what you need is counselling and inner self reflection, and a determination to get on a path of self change.

Politics / Re: Punch Editorial. Jonathan’s Unfolding Dictatorial Tendencies. by blackeli: 8:16pm On Jun 29, 2014
The people who feel their rights have been abused should go to a court of law, not the court of public opinion. No one has asked what they where going to do in ekiti, was it to campaign? or to rig? Ideally, my opinion is that the presidency acted within its powers and boundaries by Forstalling the breakdown of law and order by the coming into ekiti of rascals with bags of cash to bribe for polity.

Romance / Re: Cooking For Your Boyfriend In His House: Is It Right Or Wrong? by blackeli: 9:27pm On Nov 26, 2013
It's pure plain common sense, if you are serious with your boyfriend enough to give him a taste of the "goodies", and can't cook for him, then pack ya bags and call a cab cos a better woman will.

Car Talk / Re: Why Do German And American Cars Have Low Resale Values? by blackeli: 3:02pm On Sep 13, 2013
It's all a factor of the cost of labour in the country / region of origin. Europe and America have a high cost of labour, which all translates to high cost of manufacturing, and invariably costly cars and costly repair/ replacement parts. However if you compare with some new American and German cars like the low end chevolets, and Volkswagens, they have started manufacturing in Asia, and are beginning to have favourable price points, and parts cost.
Business / Re: Youngest Billionaire Still Bikes To Work by blackeli: 7:29am On Feb 27, 2013
Riding a bike when u have a hug net worth has nothing to do with humility. It is just a matter of choice. If you work hard for your money and choose to fly first class or buy a private jet, it's no ones business.

Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Is Too Archaic It Worries Me by blackeli: 7:43am On Sep 09, 2012
my dear, I have just one word for you. RUN!!!. If he hasnt changed after 3 years, he wouldnt change just for you. If you haven't gotten married and fore play is for "oyinbo", then he would force his way into you when he marries you and report you to the elders when you complain about his actions.
Get someone in your class cos this dude is stuck in his ideologies, and would be difficult to change.
Family / Re: How Do I Deal With An Annoying Father-in-law ? by blackeli: 7:33am On Sep 09, 2012
Inspite of his harsh behavior, he is still human and has some soft sides, the key is to study him , understand his soft spots and capitalize on it. You wouldn't be able to stop him from exibiting his nature, but you would be able to dictate how he acts and reacts towards you.
Travel / Re: Etihad Begins Flight To Nigeria by blackeli: 2:18pm On Jul 11, 2012
if etihad flew abudhabi to Abuja, it would knock off a lot of business from egypt air and ethiopean air, and make them seat up. plenty people fly to lagos just to fly emirates cos of superior service.

Travel / Re: Racial Discrimination In Dubai by blackeli: 5:24pm On Jun 23, 2012
You are not entirely correct in saying the Arabs are racist. You probably dress overly casual to be taken serious. I have lived here, for 5 years, did my masters degree here, lived in Ajman till I could afford an apartment in Dubai, mused the public transport, and the metro when it came on board, and eventually got a divers license. Not ONCE have I ever been stopped, asked for an ID, in all my 5 years.
I had a reason to go to jabel Ali police station 3 months ago, and they where very polite.

Besides a lot of Nigerians are doing drugs, committing commiting fraud in diera. In 2008 every other day, there was always a story of one act of crime in gulf news, and the Nationality was often Nigerian. If it was you, you would want to secure your country.

On the other hand when you respect the law, and behave properly, they treat you with respect.

Politics / Re: You Are A Sinking Man, Reps Blasts Otedola by blackeli: 6:04am On Jun 18, 2012
ironically, We nigerians are short in memory, and do not follow the anticidents of people in question. The question people have not asked is that "who is Femi otedola"? how did he get his money? if he didnt enjoy subsidy from petrol, did he enjoy from diesel? has all the funds he recieved from diesel subsidy ever been accounted for? did he donate 200million to OBJs presidential library, and hundreds of millions to the PDP for nothing?
while i'm not exonorating the Farouk Lawan team, it is obvious that the whole thing is a political chess game, with nigerias as the spectators. the otedola camp has said "check", lets see what the house make as a move to get out of the chack and attempt to checkmate.
Romance / Re: Am Always Scared Of Going On A Date by blackeli: 7:40am On Apr 11, 2012
your friends are right with regards pride. you need to conciously grow up and move from being independent minded to being interdependent minded. the fact that he pays doesnt make you less than who you are. If in fact he later feels big headed because he paid for dinner, then he has an esteem problem, and thats a pointer that he isn't the one you should be with. Allow yourself to be treated like a lady. if he deserves you, he would wine and dine you. i'm a guy and this
