I have a Toyota Highlander 2004 that has the check engine light and VSC light on. When scanned it had an error code P0016.

The vehicle fuel consumption is very high and when you want to accelerate it stalls sometimes. These are the only two symptoms it has. The engine sounds good and it drives fine apart from when you need to quickly accelerate and it stalls a bit before it picks up.

I got a mechanic to check the timing belt and he claims it's okay and not missing a tooth, also said it aligns. I really don't know what else to do.

Can you help?

I have a 2007 corolla which originally had a P0016 code and was running rough, especially at idle.
It runs fine when the car is hot.

Also usually, if you rev it at idle and keep it at 3000rpm for about 30 seconds, it runs smoother but it now would stay at 1500rpm before later coming down to normal idle speed.

We have replaced vvt solenoid, done engine flush, changed oil and filter because of sludge, replaced camshaft with actuator, replaced tensioner, reset the timing several times but all to no avail.

Any help or advise would be highly appreciated.

Make sure u inform them that it's secondary market rates you want.

You don't need to spend money on courier. Just register on hellofax.com and send the scanned copies of your documents to IQAS via the medium. They will acknowledge your application in a few days.

Sequence: Apply online and pay for the ECA request, print and sign the ECA request form, print the "Request for Academic Records" which you will submit at your institution while applying for your transcript.

Hi did you apply for IQAS to assess only your Post graduate degree from UniSun? Or both undergrad n postgrad?

I also did my MSc in Sunderland and I have been confused as to if I need to assess both my B.Tech degree from a Nigerian university and my MSc, or if only the MSc will suffice.

The processing time of getting my university to forward the transcript to IQAS is of serious concern to me.

Will appreciate ur prompt response.

Hello house. I have been a silent follower of this thread. I wrote my first IELTS General exams around Oct and got : L 7.5, R 6.5 W 6.5 & S 7.5. (I didnt practise so much)

This result was really depressing but i, my colleague and friends decided to give it another try and we wrote the Dec 3rd's exam. I got L 9, R 8, W 7.5 & S 7.5. (Practised hard for 1month)

When i checked my CRS score, it came out to 481 lol .

I am yet to create a profile for the pool (no ECA yet) cos i never really took this Canada EE seriously.

I just quickly applied to my post graduate Uni (Sunderland) to send my transcript to IQAS.

I urge people taking IELTS to use Youtube videos for their listening practices, then use IELTS Liz for the rest, especially for the reading tips. IELTS 68k is not beans with this recession!!!

1) will it be possible to get my visa approved as my passport bears my maiden name, marital status single and my son(1yr 7months) has a passport that bears his fathers surname. I'm a 5th year medical student and intend to take my son for medical treatment.
We have done our traditional wedding and the white will b coming up in December invitation cards are already out. I had my son when I was in my 4th year in sch.
2) what documents do I need to go withand which ones can i use to show strong ties here in nigeria.
3) what are the likely questions I could be asked.

1. Your passport being in your maiden name isnt an issue as the US consulate respects common-law marriages like your traditional marriage. Being a 5th year medical student is a tie but u may wish to get a letter of introduction from your school/college. Pls note that documents are hardly checked tho.

If your intention of getting the visa is for medical tourism for your son, you have to provide evidence that you have contacted a hospital and doctor that is willing to treat him. Evidences like email correspondence and a letter from the hospital/doctor including estimated financial implication.

That brings us to proof of funds. You must show that you will be able to offset the cost of treatment.

2. From the above you should be able to deduce the required documents.

3. Read people's transcript, few pages back to know likely questions.

Since there are four of you going to Newark, the best bet will be a taxi which you can get outside JFK. Depending on how you can bargain, it will cost between $100- $120.

What city in NJ? If your luggage isn't many. You can book JFK. You will get the air train from JFK to Howard Beach station from where u will get the A subway train to new York Pennsylvania station (both cost $7.75 off-peak). You can then get the NJ transit train to New Jersey depending on where you are going (costs between &5- &15 per person.
