you all have my apologies for introducing this issue under the wrong segment. But should anyone know NBL, it should tell NBL to come out with a public bulletin on this issue. NBL is aware of it.

BEWARE: NIGERIAN BREWERIES PLC IS BREWING, BOTTLING AND CIRCULATING FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION CONTAMINATED AND POISIONED BOTTLED 33 EXPORT LAGER BEER.

1. Help warn and sensitize unsuspecting and fun loving Nigerians about the existence of contaminated, unwholesome and poisoned bottles of 33 Export Lager beer, being negligently bottled and distributed for public consumption in Nigeria by Nigerian Breweries Plc.

2. Ikenna Ofodum, is a bar owner in Gbagada area of Lagos State, who almost consumed such beer in his bar, while a customer in his bar, sometimes in November 2016, nearly consumed a similar contaminated bottle of 33 Export Lager beer.

3. Of importance is that this yuletide period, beer/alcohol consumption in Nigeria is usually high and there is a need for Nigerian Public to be careful, particularly as regards consumption of 33 Export Lager Beer.

4. Nigerian Breweries Plc, acclaims itself as the largest breweries in west Africa but it lacks in production controls and world brewing standards. This is exemplified by numerous particles found in its brewed and bottled beer, the last of which is that of a 33 Export Lager beer that found its way into a public pub. Some of these drinks could have been consumed by innocent members of the Nigerian public who patronize poorly lit bars at night without an opportunity of scrutinizing the contents of the beer they consume.

5. Your guess is as good as mine as regards how many could have being poisoned, unknowingly, and died owed to Nigerian Breweries Plc offer of such beer for consumption to the public.

6. Nigerian Breweries Plc, is nonchalant and unconcerned about this trend owed to lacuna in our legal system and the laxity on the part of relevant Nigerian Government/statutory regulatory bodies/agencies as its obvious from our letter to Nigerian Breweries Plc seeking justification on this issue, which letter has not been replied by Nigerian Breweries Plc till date. We are poised to seek legal redress it in the Court of Law by way of public interest litigation in January 2017.

7. Attached is a copy of our mail to Nigerian Breweries Plc which the company has refused and neglected to respond to as well as picture of the bottled 33 Export Lager Beer.
