I ordered a TV from a Nigerian company. The cost of the TV and cost of shipping we rolled in to one. They said they were using EMS shipping and I would receive it in 48 hrs. I never received my TV. The company said that EMS was holding my TV and that I had to pay 200.00 for customs. I contacted EMS they said that customs needed the 200.00 for taxes and what not. EMS told me that it is against company rules to have any contact w/ customs. They said I was to pay my money to EMS only and they would forward the money to customs so they can get my TV released and have it delieved in 24 hrs.
Has anyone else experienced this problem. Does anyone have any infomation on contacting Customs to see if this is true or not.
please reply - EMS says if I dont pay for the TV now, they will start charning extra money for damanges or extra holding costs or something. I need help
