its a sad day in the peaceful city of Offa and things must be put in the right perspectives. its unfortunate this happened at this time in the history of the town and this is a wake up call to the government of the day and also to the opposition party that was criticising the approval of the $1b arms purchase fund. it is now clear that the just approved $1B for ammunition purchase to fortified the security apparatus in the country is much needed and very crucial. if only our security system are working the way it should i do not see any reason how miscreants will come to a town and operate for that long and kill people like chicken. i am pained because those lives wasted are somebody's father, mother, sons and daughters even breadwinners of their various families. i challenge the nigerian police to fish out those behind this act and bring them to justice and i also invoke the spirits of the dead to go after those that kill them to make them face the law. may the Lord console the families of the dead and also to the people of Offa.
