Hello people (especially AmEx users).
Can I transfer or donate my Amex BA companion voucher? I do have one companion voucher which will expire in March.

Also, I just maxed out my avios for the year (I spent £12,000 and have got a new companion voucher. Will any more spending accrue more avios for me? Or I have to wait till June to start getting avioses?

This thread is really buzzing. You blink, return and there are 70 pages to read through.
The last time I was here, someone was moaning that Lemondade offereing them £1 = 850 was poor as Lemonade rates were not making sense. The OP wanted £1 to fetch them at least 1,000 naira.

I guess this person's prayers have been answered.
£1 today on Lemondae (Lemfi) can fetch N1,700.50 Madt Ohh...
Less i forget, gala is now 500 naira.

It's shameful how some people reason.
Here abroad, nobody cares about your tithing.unless black African demented folks.
Your pastor has thoroughly brainwashed you.you need to travel out to understand that you are in religious chains.(how would u know that you are in chains when u now love your chains)I pity you bro.

Brother. Calm down.
Is it not you that posted here couple of weeks ago about arriving the UK in September 2023?

Calm down. Use some of this spare time you have to browse Indeed or Totaljobs or CV Library or Reed.
Trust me, that is a better use of your time.

Hello house .
I got a New BRP due to me switching Employer, so I was told to return my old BRP
My question is, will I buy postal stamp for the delivery or I will just cut it and put in an envelope to drop off in a postal box near me ?

Thank you

ALL 4 BRPs I have ever used in the UK are still in an envelope, under my box.
I am keeping them as a sort of Time capsule in my museum /archive for my future generation.
I am keeping it safe. It’s not in wrong hands.
I’m good to go.

Her visa is tied to mine and she would be shooting herself in the foot as well, maybe we’ll both go home. At this point, I can’t rule out anything from her. I have seen insanity face to face. So sad that I used to judge men in my position in the past, meanwhile the wife is literally instigating the violence by struggling, slapping, bringing knives (poking me with the knife) etc. and anything resulting from struggle/self-defence is called assault. It’s utterly ridiculous. I have minor cuts all over and my body is aching me from slaps and blows.

Have you considered that you were probably starving her of emotional support?
Someone above asked to imply why you seem to be more ‘married’ to your phone and laptop than you are, to her.

Have you even considered that you are/were in the wrong on some occasions?

Please, see if you can find a way of solving issues.

I am responding here because I can’t send you a direct message since the Email address associated with this moniker is no long functional.

Yea please, if you can get a plug or recommendation for a care worker who has been given 3 months to find a new sponsor or else leave the uk.

Help Needed!!
The Care Agency that brought me to the UK on Health & Care Visa CoS has just been sanctioned by the Home Office. They have now lost their CoS status.
All the foreign staff (plenty of us) have now been told to find a new sponsor, or leave the UK within 3 months.

Please, do you know where I can be able to get a new CoS? Please help.

Please help a brother.

Any plugs? Leads? Recommendations?
Please help.

MonkeySee:
The normal rate for the immigration health surcharge will increase from *£624 to £1,035 per year*. This will be paid by workers entering for a period of six months or more and the family members of migrants and British citizens alike.

The discounted rate for students, children and youth mobility visa holders will be increased from *£470 to £776 per year*. The minister announcing the measure explicitly stated that this increase “would fund the pay rise for doctors” that was announced earlier.

And then as soon as you come in, your very first salary is taxed.
You pay National Insurance tax. And part of National Insurance tax is used for… the NHS!

Please people… do we have Nigerians living and working on Stornoway in Scotland please?

Does anyone have any experience?
I and the husband are seriously considering moving out of South East England, to somewhere nice, cheap and serene. Where there is at least an NHS trust.

Nothing shared inside the house, Everyone has there prepaid meter. But wanted to know how the council tax is so as to know if I should pick the option of 600 all bills inclusive or 480 option plus water alone. Nah the council tax dey make me fear ,since I don't know how to check it or ascertain the amount required to be paid there.
Okay bro. Thanks.

If I am to send a letter to you. Will the address be the name of the building? Or the name of your studio? What will be different if I am to send a letter to the guy occupying the ‘room’ next to yours?

Sooner (rather than later), we shall have a Labour Government in the YouKay.

With my namesake resigning from Parliament immediately, with Nadine Dorries gone too. There will most certainly be a flurry of resignations. And bye elections - which the Tories will all lose.

Let’s see what a Labour Government will bring.

We Move…

And again, no student plans to stay indefinitely... That would be illegal. They become skilled workers or go home after their PSW, so I struggle to see what entitlement or why people are crying foul like the students are sneaking in or remaining illegally. cheesy

My brother. I tire.
You see the individuals (on this thread) that are pushing the narrative which appear to portray international students as leeches and beneficiaries of the system.
Ask them their opinion on young, able-bodied Men who get on small boats and arrive through the English channel. They are likely going to tell you the UK is treating those ones unfairly by putting them in hotels (up to £7,000,000 per day). They are likely going to tell you the Rwanda plan is unfair.
