Next time this foolish man should let the electricity company do their jobs... This is not a race issue, it's a COMMON SENSE one.

According to your logic, the man should allow them take the cables he bought with his money away?

He already allowed them do their job... Disconnect him. They did not supply the cables he used

Dear All,

We thank God for finally abolishing the walls of separation between "medicallisted" and "waitlisted" in terms of the definition of "successful" in this race. This is a news that has set our group buzzing with joy.

God can do anything, anyhow, anywhere and at anytime. The only obstacle is our belief.

However, another Medusa has raised its ugly head and we need the help of both groups to tackle this menace and it is the proposed NLNG Act amendment.

This is an issue that may affect us both now and after resumption as well and for this reason we need to come together as a team to tackle it. Teamwork nor be for mouth...

We are therefore requesting every successful candidate to retweet these tweets:

1. @ProfOsinbajo @NGRSenate @SPNigeria @YakubDogara Sirs, please reject the NLNG Act Amendment it is anti FDI & Nigerians will lose 18K+ jobs.

2. https://twitter.com/aMichaelO6/status/862572187911421954

3. https://twitter.com/adepetcares/status/862564440109187072

4. https://twitter.com/Tajuddeeng/status/862567086131957765?s=09

5. @dawisu @Omojuwa @DrDamages @SaharaReporters http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/05/nlng-act-amendment-cripple-trains-78-25bn-investment/ … Please retweet

The handles of the Senate President and the Nigerian Senate have been tagged. Let us leave out NLNG and the bosses so they will not think we are sponsored.

Let us also do an additional 4 creative tweets per day. Please we are honorable people. Let us not use insults in our tweets. It should be politely crafted.

Five tweets from all 140 of us could lead to 10,000 tweets per day.

Remember the T in ITEC/ITREC. Teamwork nor be for mouth.

Let us make some NOISE for our employer.

Your dear Successful,

Dane15

Nigeria is a very funny country, i started the race for the GT Recruitment and i fell out in the Computer-Based Test, after two years i obtained a masters degree and pursued a job oversees and i am earning about N1,000,000/month with other lovely benefits beyond my expectation. The job only took 3days for them to hire me. Please why is NLNG destroying people's lives allowing them to wait for so long. Congrats in advance to all the success applicants, but seriously why waste many people's time. I Thank God for answering my prayer. All the best

Congratulations sah

Nairaland / General / Re: What Is Wrong In Asking Someone "How Was Your Night?" by Boshemann(m): 7:35am On Jul 19, 2016
angel106:
Hello my dear nairalanders, can you kindly contribute to the topic. A colleague of mine came to work and was pissed at the response she got when she innocently greeted a friend and asked her "How was your night?".

The friend flared up and asked her to stop asking her such question, that why would she want to know how her night was? That why was she interested in knowing what she did with her husband shocked.

Na wetin concern dead body with overload?

To me, it is just a simple remark of knowing that you had a good night rest without troubles. But i can be wrong, so my dears....you have the floor.

Thanks.

While your friend shouldn't have flared up, the question is still very funny (sometimes outright annoying).
I believe the question came into use as a direct consequence of asking "how was your day?" In analysing the whole thing, "how was your day?" seems valid since most people go through different experiences during the day. But at night? We mostly sleep. So, I think 'hope you slept well' or "did you sleep well" is a more straightforward way to show your concern for someone. If a person had terrible dreams or couldn't sleep, then the answer will be something like "couldn't sleep o", or 'had nightmares'.

Actually, the groups are not just places where the silent people here go to nest again and just be soaking gist. It's actually for people that relate to a particular cause - either waiting for offer letters, or have been waitlisted. I dont see how one can have done medicals, and still be waitlisted at the same time, so you asking to be added to the two groups beats my imagination.

So long has one is not married yet. Multiple relationship is allowed. We are in a black market here. No one knows the absolute quality of what he would bring home. All we do is hope for the best.

Concerning the cheating thing. Check out this scenario. A guy has been asking girl A out for like six months and she has not given him a 'yes' yet. Same guy has girl B,C,and D on his trail. One in church one in sch and the latter on his street. After the seventh month he decides to evaluate his position with girl A. He didn't give up on girl A tho. He started to spend more time with girl B,C,D just to keep him happy. Girl A like the other girls had at least 5 other guys scoping them on the side. They go on dates and so on.

The eight month girl A decided to give the guy a yes. Naturally by implication girl B,C,D becomes side chics. Or girl A might even be d side chic. Girl A gave the guy a guilt free pass by not say yes before girl B,C,D came into d picture.

If you fancy a guy don't front for too long before u say yes. If u want to play hard to get don't complain of side chic. U are just a market leader. They are the market followers. grin

Hilarious

I think we all should talk based on our experiences: never generalise. That most guys do what you're saying don't mean that all men do so.

Have some hope in this world. And perhaps, reevaluate the people you associate with.
