Investment / Re: BREAKING NEWS: MMM Might Crash Between June-july 2017 (videos) by boujaye: 12:09pm On Dec 05, 2016
Mfondear:
Fresh findings by Naij.com have revealed that the money spinning Ponzi scheme Mavrodi Mundial Movement also known as MMM might crash between June-July 2017.

Some “experts” in Ponzi schemes who spoke with our reporter said the scheme might not last longer than July of 2017 following recent developments such as multiple registrations by participants by users within the scheme.

This news website also gathered that some participants have now added fraudulent activities to the scheme as they now upload fake evidence of payment.

Just in case you don’t know, 66,000 Zimbabweans participants were affected when this pyramid scheme crashed.

But operators of MMM have however began to move against fraudulent activities as investment can no longer stay more than 30 days in the system.

As at press time, over 3 million Nigerians including the learned and illiterate are participants of the money spinning Ponzi scheme.

With Nigeria further sunk into recession, Nigerian youths and middle age adult have resort to Ponzi schemes as a means of survival as it appears that the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government does not have answers to end suffering of Nigerians.

The untold story about the money spinning scheme MMM

MMM history facts

How MMM works

Like all ponzi schemes, MMM is none different as it does not have an underlying asset or enterprise upon which the investment is built; rather cash payout is sustained from the investment of investors who come in later.

MMM is a scheme were people matched to help each other. Each help provided is comes with a guaranteed 30% interest or profit (as you may want to call it) in 30 days when the provider of the help requests for help too.

Simply put, MMM make new helpers (participants) to transfer money (help) to other people who had provided help previously to earlier participants and the circle continues.

Also, an existing participant who is able to bring in a new member gets a referral bonus of 10% on every help the new participant offer. This however can only be enjoyed for the maximum of 8 times even if the existing participant is not investing.

Earlier participants, known as “Guilders” make more money from this scheme than new participants due to the large number of their down line – (people who came into the scheme though them, or those who they mentor/guide).

Pets / She Slept With Her Snake And Then The Vet Told Her Something Shocking by boujaye: 9:11pm On Jul 09, 2016
l read this from the Facebook and see it very educative to share it here with Nairalanders.

This is a true story about a woman from India
who lived in the Middle Ages and had a pet
snake, python, which she loved so much. The
snake was 4 meters long and looked healthy.
However, one day her unusual pet just stopped
eating.
This lack of appetite in the snake continued
over a few weeks. The desperate woman tried
everything she could and offered anything that a
snake would like to strangle and eat. Nothing
worked, and finally the woman took her loving
pet to the veterinarian as a last resort.
The vet listened to the woman carefully and
asked, “Does your snake sleep with you at night,
wrap around you closely and spread out
throughout its length?”
The woman was surprised and with a lot of hope
she said, “Yes! Yes! It does it every day and it
makes me so sad because I see something
asking of me, and I cannot help it feel better.”
Then, the vet said something shocking and most
unexpected. “Madam, your pet is not sick; it is
just preparing to eat you.” Yes, the python
wasn’t sick but it has been preparing to eat her
instead!
“Every time, it is creeping and “hugging” you,
wrapping around your body, it is checking size to
weigh how a great meal you are and how it
must be prepared before the attack. And yes, it
does not eat, in order to have enough space to
digest you more easily,” the vet said.
This story comes with a moral – Even people
close to you, whom you are very affectionate
with, can, have mean intentions. You need to
identify the snake around you and their true
intent. Hugs and kisses are not always honest.
Don’t fear the enemy that attacks you, but the
fake friend that hugs you.

I hope we don't have them here on Nairaland!

You are the most ignorant person on this forum. Look at you. Shameless colonial caricature. In Brazil, Argentina, Trinidad, Venezuela, Uruguay, USA, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and other countries, people of all races are leaving christianity in droves and adopting IFA religion. Many more are eagerly learning its concepts. Its spirituality. Its moral integrity. Researching it. Writing books on it. Holding seminars on it. YOU, a compound MORO.N who calls himself an African, can only see ''witchcraft'' and ''evil'' in the religion of your ancestors, with your colonised, blinkered, brainwashed eyes, fed by a debased, dumbed-down, sardonic, cretinous mentality. Pathetic.

First of all, the term ''traditional ruler'' suggests you're a foreigner. Are you from Britain? France? America?

We, the African people are the traditional and natives the British allude to when they say ''traditional''. Traditional ruler is how European colonialists and slave raiders addressed African leaders and still do, because they (British) are foreigners. Therefore, its not incumbent on you as an African to address your leader as traditional. Each time we do this we're simply without shame reciting like a baby how a whiteman would say it.

When we use terms like native medicine or and traditional ruler to address our medicines and rulers, it's like a child reciting ''Z'' is for Zebra. Take the child to a zoo and he can't identify a zebra!. The child is simply reciting what the teacher and textbook told him/her to say.

I've looked into these things and can see clearly there's something wrong with the system of education we inherited from Britain. This education succeeded in schooling us to be copy cats and inferiors!.

It appears we've been brainwashed beyond repair!. And the worst are the so called educated Africans.

This's why I have concluded ''intellectual slavery'' is the worst legacy of colonialism.

@OP, this post is not about you, but the mass brainwashing of Afrians that have been going on for over 450 years.
how has traditional religion helped you? witchcrafcy, wickedness, evil, horror, mysterious death, demon manipulation, name the rest. and you are still talking of traditional religion till this day? ah! think now.

In light of the Ooni of Ife's recent gaffe when he said Jesus is his father, whereas his title as king of ife literarily means Oonirisa (leader of the Orisha). Ooni aside, traditional rulers generally perform a lot of roles that are in tandem with the African traditional religion and it is statedin the bible that no one can serve two masters. So what are the chances of a born again christian being a traditional ruler.
yes its possible only if he converts the traditional kingdom to the kingdom of God and rule by the word of God.
Religion / Re: Is It Biblical To Say "Develop A Personal Relationship With God"? by boujaye: 1:55pm On Jul 03, 2016
chiedu7:

The saying “HAVING PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD” is that what God is looking for?

The Key is to worship in spirit and truth, then a relationship comes as a by-product.
That is not true, relationship with God, is never a by product. There is no way you can worship God in truth and in spirit without developing a personal relationship with Him. Worshiping God in truth and spirit is knowing Him as God, obeying Him, living a holy life and having faith in Him and His word. Not mere raising up of seemingly holy hands and uttering words of praise to God. Bro Cain used to give a holy offering until he broke it, yet coming to worship as usual, which God rejected.

“Buhari is a sincere leader. Buhari is an epitome of transparency. Buhari is a very honest statesman, so what is this noise about him having a secondary school certificate or not?” This are the questions an Abuja (Nigeria’s FederalCapital city) based international business woman and fabric merchant, Princess Bunmi Jegede threw up early in the week over the raging allegation that President Muhammad Buhari has no WASC School Leaving Certificate which is said to be a basic neccessity in the constituion for anybody aimimg to rule Nigeria.

[/quote] if indeed your buhari is honest why did he present doctored wasc cert? why has he kept a deaf ear on corruption allegations against amaechi? why has he not probe the Halliburton scandal involving his wife Aisha? stop deceiving yourself.

Who's this one and where did she escape from? Woman, you can do better by restricting this shameless display of kolo-mentality to the confine of your household rather than dragging your family's name in the mud. Coming out to spew rubbish in the name of praise-singing a failed despot is not only a sin to womanhood but a crime against humanity. And please, stop saying that "we" Nigerians voted for a NEPA Bill Certificate holder. Rather, it was you, probably members of your family and other demented 15million compatriots who chose darkness over light. This is 2016; there's is no more Tunde Idiagbon to replicate the "feats of 1984". Nigerians are getting hungrier due to a direction-less, motion-without-movement and trial-by-error governance of a completely naive and incompetent leader. Save your sermon to other fellow sycophants who will serve Satan even for a meal of porridge.
Tell the poster, he be okonko, does he know what he is saying? how can you compare the gains of literacy with the gains of illiteracy. no correlation.
