Hello Webmasters,

I want to become a web designer/developer. From research, I ought to know HTML, CSS, Javascript & PHP, first. But i am in a dilemma whether to start with HTML/CSS or HTML5/CSS3, considering the fact that the latter is already supported in all major browsers?? Please what do you advice and reasons for your choice??

Also, any guidelines as to a successful path to follow(novice to professional).
Thanks.
