TemiBami2020:
Pls help me people. My world is collapsing. It's a marriage of 10years and blessed with 3kids (2 boys and a girl). Like every other marriages, we've had our own shares of ups and downs. No marriage is perfect.

Last month i went to work. By the time I came back the children were no where to be found, including my husband. Initially, I thought they went out or something. Around 11pm I got worried and called my brother in-law who is a police to track my husband numbers

He contacted other family members and he found out my husband left for UK with our children forever.

I don't know what to do. I'm running mad. Pls is there any authority I can contact in the UK? Or can I go to the UK/ British Commission in Nigeria to lay a formal complaint? Is there any NGO I can contact?

Modified For those saying I'm a bad wife, I'm not. I've been very supportive in a every way a wife can be. I've lived in both physical and verbal abusive marriage within the last 10years of my life. He's a violent man, adulterous, alcoholic and a fervent smoker. He gets drunk and get home and beat me up Infront of the children unprovoked. I have evidences and witnesses

I often threaten him I would take my children and go away cause I can't watch and allow them to grow in such a toxic home.

From your statement alone, you are a bad wife. Look at how you just washed him in public without keeping somethings private just to appear good. This is the problem, why won't he ascond with your children? You should be more focused on getting your family back together instead of making this slanderous statements against a man you call your husband.

Family / Re: Is It Right For My Niece's Boyfriend To Visit Her In My House? by BREYZ: 10:21pm On Dec 25, 2020
wwwkaycom:
My niece came visiting for Christmas, I was so glad to have her with us since yesterday. She'll be leaving on Sunday.

We came back from our church programme today and just as we were finishing lunch, this young guy just knocked on the door and my niece Shola went to open the door for him. He came in and she just introduced him casually as Clement, her boyfriend. She led him straight to her room and were there for like 3 hours before the guy left.

I felt insulted and irritated by her action but my wife would not allow me to say anything. She said I will talk to her angrily, she however promised to call her and counsel her gently before bed this night. That must be the kind of rubbish she has been doing in her school because I know she won't even dare it with her parent. She has been telling me her mum especially is high handed and just too tough for her liking.

I'm still not so happy because of my wife's action, or am I been too old school or archaic?
Nothing wrong with it. At least he visited when you were Around. Just have an open mind and always advise them on this relationship things

Politics / Re: 2021 Will Be More Difficult Than Year 2020 by BREYZ: 9:33am On Dec 25, 2020
sunnybobonwa:
2021 will be more difficult than year 2020

Lai Omotola
Group Managing Director, CFL Group, Lai Omotola has said 2021 will be a more difficult year than 2020.

He said this would be so because 2020 has set a foundation for 2021, as COVID-19 might not end next year.

“The economy will not recover to blossom level, insecurity is a major factor. I have not been able to see anything in government to suggest the availability of resources to meet these coming challenges,” Omotola said during an end of year briefing in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

He said 2020 had been a tough year all through in view of the spread of COVID-19 that made nonsense of the global strength leaving devastating effect.

“This year we have seen how feeble and vulnerable the world can be. In the case of Nigeria, we have managed to survive with our low COVID-19 numbers when compared to America and Europe. This year has seen businesses shut more than ever. Also, there has been massive jobs lost and infrastructure decade.

“Businesses face unprecedented challenges from January to December 2020. From COVID-19 lockdown to EndSARS to traffic gridlock that keep you in traffic for 5 to 6 hours in Lagos State. All these have had multiplier effects on the productivity of businesses in Nigeria,” he said.

Omotola said in 2020, his company continued with its commercial and residential construction with five new Plazas and six residential estates across Lagos State.

He explained that to stay in business, his organisation became innovative and adapted digital platforms as ways of reaching customers and carrying them along, as well as introduced price friendly products, but said 2020 had recorded lower profitability compared to other years.

“The business environment continues to be harsh as government continues jack-up prices like VAT, Petrol, electricity and other charges from Lagos State agencies. Both governments; State level and National Level introduce
palliatives; but the palliatives have not been able to produce the desired results. The prices of food items
have been on the rise like never before despite huge investment in agriculture.

“Security has deteriorated and reaching an alarming rate. The infrastructure remains the same with bad roads all across the nation. The Lagos-Ibadan express road is yet to be completed despite huge funds that have been sunk into it. Second Niger bridge is work in progress.

“The rail development is on the increase as Lagos to Ibadan commenced operation, however, we see rail development from Niger Republic to Nigeria is not commercially viable and waste of resources. The state of the economy is at the lowest ebb with bad foreign exchange naira to a dollar is N480 and pounds to Naira is N630. Inflation is double digit of 13.4%.

“Nigeria has entered into second recession in 5 years. The economy is seriously bleeding and the government knows this fact considering the recent opening of the borders; but I wonder what government have gained,” he lamented.

According to Omotola, government at all levels had not been able to show the people that they are capable in confronting the daunting challenges of present and of the future, saying that the current government had been
reactive more than being proactive.

He said the opposition continued to agitate for the restructuring of the country to regional basis but that the historical antecedent had it that “we are more attracted to terminologies and execution. For example, in the 50s, what the leaders wanted was independence from the colonial masters to pave way for a prosperous Nigeria without verifying if our various institutions were well established.

“Again, during the military era, the statement “return to democracy” was the order of the day, and now 21 years of
democracy we can comfortably say how we have fared. The truth is that Nigeria is a structured country that will continually need restructuring through established organs like the national assembly; so, to do otherwise is a political mutiny.”

2021 will be more difficult in their own lives. Idiots

When half of my neighbors have travelled, I am now left alone in the compound. every year it is only me who remains back, I am ashamed. I can't go home. I offended my family so much.

I was deported from South Africa for drug trafficking, my father spent all his life saving to send me abroad, I went there to do drugs,

Now I have my freedom, but my heart remains in chain, seeing my family struggling financially because of me and the failed investment on me. I am depressed because of this.

I can't call them, I don't know what to do. I may take my life if the emotional torture becomes much.

When you come from a family where so much investment was made in your life and you still wont sit down and have a rethink about life before taking decisions this is always the result, you aren't the only one feeling it but your entire family.

Don't commit suicide like a coward, go home, explain things to them and do something meaningful with your life.

When my daughter clocked 3, I asked for my daughter to stay with me (she's staying with her mother's family) but she gave me a condition. That I forgive her and forget the past and we should plan a future together with our daughter. For my daughter's sake I accepted and she moved in with us but alas she still messages her ex and still reaches out to them. I confronted her again today and her reply to me is "you better don't kill yourself."

We're not married but every time I tell her to leave she threatens to take our daughter who is only five years old and who has grown a strong bond to me.

You may be annointed to kill Goliath but will forever not be Anointed and Permitted to Kill Saul.
Ask David whenever you see him.

You cannot ERASE the Man who RAISED you.

You cannot DISHONOUR the Man who made people HONOUR you.

You cannot bring EMBARRASSMENT to the Man who gave you ENDORSEMENT.

Never become a PROBLEM to the Man who gave you a PLATFORM to Rise.

Why become a WARFARE to the Man who took care of your WELFARE.

Determine not to become a DISAPPOINTMENT to the Man who gave you APPOINTMENT.

How can a Man put so much INVESTMENT into your life, and your thank you to him, is to put so much BEREAVEMENT into his own life.

In most cases, Fathers may be the one who WRONGED you, but still remember, the God who ANOINTED David to kill Goliath will not ALLOW him to kill Saul.

The DRUNKENNESS of Noah is not a licence to expose his unclothedness.
That will be WICKEDNESS AND FOOLISHNESS in the sight Of God.

One of the Sons of Noah EXPOSED his Father's unclothedness, FORGETTING it was his Father's RIGHTEOUSNESS that once SAVED him from the FLOOD.

2020 remains a year to reckon within the nearest future, it has change lots of thoughts on world politics, businesses, economic, International relation, health and a lot not mentioned with the Covid 19 pandemic outbreak. Nevertheless, Nigeria experience quite lots of such dramas but picking on the political parts was the #Endsars, the kidnapped boys and other students at Katsina State that have got the attention of the International communities. Nigeria Government has never really experience such a revolt that happened in the last few months in previous before from its citizens. The people have really found a voice especially the 20 century generation youths that have continue to hold the government responsible. If the Government really wanted to change the space of the coming years for good, they need to work on their public image and orientation, because the people have totally lost the basic “trust” in their elected officials in government!. The people needs results and no words because action matters a lot to the masses at this dying hour. I thought of going to Sango today and have the December festive season with my family and behold what I found was really to my surprise, it was written and embolden under the Sango Otta bridge. If this really continues and motivate others, Nigeria might happens to experience a sudden revolt change!!!

we dont have a government.
