I believe starting by bringing all Nigerian coders to one forum will be a very good starting pint so that companies and government interested in hireling good programmer can have a community where they can find them.

Thanks brothers for your support, I tried everything to resolve this but to no avail. I realized that my system was infected already with virus that disabled anti virus from updating.

so I have to to repair my windows installation and the virus update started working fine.

I really appreciate all of you who provided solutions.

Please I dont know if anyone has encountered this problem. My antivirus software could not connect to the updating server. I use Starcomms Genie, first I use Avast home edition, the antivirus could not update and it says it cant connect to the internet. I disabled firewall to no avail.

I uninstalled Avast, installed Symantech and it is still the same problem.

So I want to know if Starcomms network does not support these antivirus and which ones does their network support.

Please could someone help, I need to update my system before virus stricks, ie if dem neva enter my system already,

Abeg make una no vex oo , I wan confirm if anybody don host with www.ceejayhost.com before. I have two account with them and am thinking of going for their reseller plan but I dont want to risk my money and my name because with the reseller, I will have many other webmasters under me and if the company mess up, I will be affected greatly.

Please does anybody have a reseller account with them? and how does it really work?
