I have never gotten an interview from nhs talk more of offer. I don tire.
I got an offer from a care home..a conditional offer with a £10k clause(I will pay should I leave before the 3-year contract). That's scary.

I wish for an NHS offer so bad

Oh thank you. I already did smiley
I await your reply. Although, it will be nice if you can share them here so that others can benefit too.

Getting an Offer is stressful, I sent series of Emails to recruiters both NHS/Carehomes almost all came back with one unfortunately message or so but that didn't deter me.
First tip is- Your supporting statement is your Trademark. Wrap it real catchy and always look out for
1- Including the name of the NHS you're applying to, so they don't feel it's a general SS(supporting Statement), if possible chip in their core value ethics and also try to make sure all parts of the supporting statement questions are met. I mean things like, what motivates you, why want to work for NHS, what sets you apart and so on.
And watch out for some things in body of the role description about an area you would love to work, some might ask you to prioritize your choice in the body of SS, and you must include it else won't be considered. These little things might cost you, so watch out.
2) Pls Always read the Person specifications. In fact don't apply if u don't read that cos it's from the person specification you'll be able to tailor your supporting statement to fit the role. I personally copy all the essential criteria and paste for them with an editing touch that makes it seem natural. Others might say you shouldn't copy verbatim but trust me if they use an Electronic filter system for selection process which is likely, you'll be picked because those criteria is what is usually inputted in the system.
3) Read through the Job Role to the end, not all jobs u should apply biko, don't go waste your time. They are some they'll specifically state that it is not for international applicants, so watch out so u don't get another unfortunately there. And there are some who says they need Full registration. Watch out too cos I recently applied for one who needed full registration and I got the interview but they scheduled a walk in interview at the NHS not Virtual and I called severally for an adjustment only for it to be adjusted the day of the interview... One hour before the interview, something I had already forgotten about but you know the believing part of me saying I should attend the interview which I did and you could sense they needed someone with complete registration who had already written OSCE. So the interview was more or less a formality cos I got my unfortunately unsuccessful message 2 seconds after the interview. Lmaooo grin

So Mostly apply to Overseas or international adverts and believe me you'll get past this.

And if you believe in prayers pray o, I Did 3days dry fasting...(No be for everybody cool) Cos that was me seeking spiritual help and hoping on God for a miracle against my village People. So getting a Job now is not a walk in the park, it involves your time and Energy and mental readiness cos to be honest I didn't think I'd apply for a Job for almost 3months when I was feeling myself of passing IELTS and CBT once but I was chilled by the sad occurrences cry. I personally applied for 150 jobs on my Trac and 100 on NHS site and countless applications on mail addresses but I have seen someone that applied for 3000 jobs! I opened my mouth and I couldn't close it. where's she now? Royal Marsden.
My two cents!

So please be Hopeful and have faith! It will soon be story. They need alot of Nurses, alot.

Peace Fam grin

That's true o, when I saw their package, I just laughed, Some care homes have good offers though. May God grant our heart desires, be it NHS or Care homes, they are both worth it. I've finally gotten an NHS offer, I'm really grateful to God. I still have pending NHS interview invites, it took me 2 months to get here.

Congrats Girl.... I got 2 NHS offers yesterday too.. I've been over the moon. grin
I've got 3 interviews next week plus o.
For those searching for jobs, please don't give up. God who started the journey will finish 4 us all.

For home care try Care UK, they will book you for interview sharp sharp. Why home care though? I think NHS is better as a first job. This one i suggested ehn, their package is not too good. NHS give better relocation packages.

Care UK actually offered but their offer is Real sh*t. No way I was going to join them....
If NHS doesn't come nkor? Nne make I enter UK fess even though with care home(with reasonable offer). We'll sort out the rest later. I'd personally prefer NHS but I need Move sharp sharp.
