Politics / The Man Called Buhari by bsjay(m): 7:43am On Feb 06, 2015 |
COUNTDOWN TO D-DAY: 9DAYS TO GO! IRONIES OF A LIFETIME: pt1. Life, the sage say, is humorous. Life always has ironical situations that takes even the crafty in his own craftiness. Life has a way of knocking us all down at one time or the other, in other to flaunt itself as the ultimate, wise-teacher; sometimes making us look stupid, if not foolish in the eyes of history. If not, how is it that the very man who before our very eyes, murdered, truncated and terminated the democratic dispensation of His Excellency, Mallam Shehu Shagari (GCON), is now the same one arrogantly and unrepentantly asking for us to vote him into the very office he forcefully, wrongfully, unethically, selfishly evicted someone else from? If poor common sense and greed were not involved, at least, he should have been ashamed to nurse, talk less sharing his 'lofty' ambition with other Nigerians, who are old enough to be privy to his 'dark age' history; or at best, he should wait for 'this generation', whom he 'wronged' to pass away, before he can nurse another idea of 'ruling' Nigeria, without the barrel of the gun. The man Buhari has become a tale of a selfish, arrogant, self absolved, 'above the law', unrepentant, ironic, social deviant. The self acclaimed 'incorruptible one', is the very one being publicly found wanting in as little a matter as WASC/Cambridge certification. We find it totally ironic and appalling that such grave allegations as forgery and perjury are a possible to be attached to such an 'incorruptible man' as Buhari. Or how else can we explain his already submitted three other previous affidavits, vouching the availability of his WASC/Cambridge certificate (in his past three failed escapades at the democratic presidency which indeed never existed until last month? What if, INEC did not do their due diligence this time around? This deceit would have gone unnoticed in history forever, right? Or how could a contemporary of his successfully publish an unchallenged work, alleging of 'systemic undue advantages, certifications and promotions' unjustly delt to Buhari and other core North officers in Buhari's generation in the Nigerian Army, over and against their counterparts from other parts of the country? Why is it such an old man of impunity and high handedness that should 'rule' Nigeria in this modern day? Why is it that he is, so self righteous, unrepentant and acting above the law to the extent of dictating not to appear at the NEDG presidential debate, as appropriate? Why will he swirm with such filth and eventually emerge from such corrupt source and still be trusted as pure? Its hardly possible as Nigerians well know! Why should he not: tell us, why else, all Nigerians should vote him in, besides to arrest and jail people; demystify the controversy over his certificates; explain why he jailed and killed innocent and accused Nigerians without trials; explain why he truncated the modern rail system to the North, in Lagos and handed Lagosians an instant loss of USD50million, and why Lagos and Lagosians should vote for him, in spite of this? Why should such an ex-dictator, with very bad reputation for human rights, be elected to 'rule' Nigeria in this age? Why should such an overtly intolerant man on sensitive issues as tribe and religion, with very poor reputation for working in or leading a team, be imposed upon, to 'rule' Nigerians, by a few, self-seeking individuals? Why should we rationally vote-in a man, with little patience to accommodate other people's views to lead such a diverse country with 180million voices and over 270 ethnic loyalties? The presently weak or non-answers to these and many other questions by concerned Nigerians makes the 'spell to vote-in' this 'man of irony', easily fade-off our eyes! There can be no 'change' in Nigeria, except a positive, progressive one in our generation! Nigeria belongs to all of us! |

Shawl001:My friend, u would be more correct to say Christ died because of us(our sins), not that He died for us. Humanity committed the greatest sin by killing the Son of God. Thrusting nails into those helping hands that was stretched forth by the Father to help us. Salvation and redemption lie in the Word that we must absorb so that by adjusting our whole life to It, we attain to salvation and redemption. 1 Like |

No wonder He said "My people perish for lack of knowledge". Congratulations to important Christians that Christ washed away their sins on the cross. SHM! |

Shawl001:I didn't sense any question in what u wrote. Again, did I hear u say "fight"? No dear, we don't fight, we only try to help those who are not completely spiritually dead, like what this brother here is doing though it turns out sometimes like casting pearl before swine. Out of thousands out there, there are hundreds who are already tired of the broad and easy way with cheap and destructive belief and doctrines that only lead to damnation. With their tiredness a seeking arose in them and for their sake, u see us everywhere offering enlightenment that leads to the recognition of the Will Of God. If by chance u come across it, quietly go ur way. At this point, let me draw ur attention back to the parable of Jesus that says; The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a treasure hid in a field, everyone passes through that field but could not find It. But when one man discovered It, he went and sold all he had to come and buy that field! Again, with His parable of the ten virgins, He Himself had foreseen the occupants of the world being divided into two. All His parables have been fulfilled today. So, hold on to what u are holding on to without troubling urself ok! Good luck to u. |

alaoeri:Quote me right ok! I never said he would nor could ever do such. My point is, Buhari does not fit into this civilised era! He is old, more clueless if u think Jonathan is clueless, above all, a mere looking at Buhari, one needs no clairvoyant to tell that Buhari is sick both mentally and bodily. He lacks a sound mind! Many Nigerians are not wise, Tinubu and co want power by all means. They choosed Buhari so that power might get to them same way it got to South South through the death of Yar' Adua. They only choosed him to deceive the gullible northerners and get their votes. Buhari can't survive 8yrs in office, even if he would, they will eliminate him through any means just for few selfish Yorubas to assume power. Unfortunately, so many Nigerians know their conspiracy. Buhari himself is complete ignorant! With the conspiracy and choice of the apc, their victory is initially impossible! Mark my words. |

alaoeri:My dear, let's leave sentiment aside, would u in ur normal senses choose Buhari as Nigeria's president in this era? What happen to all the young, vibrant and civilised minded Nigerians? Sometimes I wonder what's wrong with many Nigerians thinking faculties... Jonathan may not be the best but does it mean there are no younger and educated men and women who can handle Nigerian issues? Why must it be an old uneducated man? Which social and youths empowerment organisation has Buhari been named as patron all through his life, apart from supporting sharia law and islamisation of Nigeria. Its shameful! johnw74:"If I have told you of earthly things and ye believe me not, how will you believe me if I tell you of heavenly things?" John16:12-15"I have yet other things to say to you but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He shall guide you into all truth and show you more things to come..." "For we know in parts but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away with!" Quoting the scriptures in an earthly sense has made us to be blind to the Truth. The right understanding of the scriptures is completely lacking coupled with the fact that the Bible doesn't contain all that man needs to know as confirmed by Jesus Himself in John16:12-15 and Paul. By the time we will start reading the bible in a spiritual sense as it should be, we will start asking many questions that will lead us to the Truth. |

Shawl001:Pls reconcile ur assertion that Christ wiped away every sin in the world with His statement that; whatsoever a man soweth that shall he reap. What's wrong with our thinking and reasoning faculties? Even one of the vast writers of the scriptures made a statement like: For we know in parts but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away with. This statement of Paul alone should ring bell and bestir people for genuine seeking. Jesus said, seek and ye shall find, ask and it shall be given. Instead of asking and seeking spiritual knowledge that's to lead us to the Truth, we are asking and seeking material gains, making ourselves victims for pastors whose interest and focus are on our money to enrich themselves. Broad is the way that lead to destruction and many are they who walk on it. Broad and easy way with cheap belief for spiritual comfort which only lull them to mental laziness and sleep of death. Fellow enlightened ones, there's no point casting pearl before swine, even the gods themselves fight in vain against stupidity. |

jeremiah505:First of all, who was and is this Christ? The Word Incarnate! Meaning, the Word of God Who was made flesh to dwell among men in order to bring them enlightenment that would lead to salvation and redemption in the very Word with strict understanding and adherence. And, what is the purpose of this salvation and redemption? To lead man back to God the Father! Christ Himself, even when He taught the Lord's prayer pointed man to God the Father in Heaven. He rejected every personal attitude taken towards Him by the people of that time and always pointed them to the Father through the Word that He Himself was and is. He even went further to say "not those who say to me lord, lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but those who recognise the Will of His Father and do them!" But today what do we see? Misunderstanding and misinterpretations of that very Word! Everyone is engaging in that very act Christ Himself warned, becoming self-servants with the delusion that they are serving God. Singing the name of Jesus with their lips while their inner being speaks entirely a different language. Religious fanatics! No wonder Jesus said: My people perish for lack of knowledge. |
Religion / Re: Where Is The Garden Of Eden? by bsjay(m): 9:36pm On Jan 25, 2015 |
johnydon22:I will only make my explanation very short and in 3 fold. Further explanation to convey the complete knowledge of what actually happened will be given if required. The story of Adam and Eve comprises first, the development of subsequent creation, follows by the compulsory expulsion of the spirit seeds from Paradise(this Paradise has nothing to do with the gross material earth, but the kingdom of God we all are yearning to go), lastly the fall of man that led to hereditary sin. Let me quickly move on to what Christ meant with the parable of the prodigal son. In the Spiritual Substantiality where the human spirits Paradise is situated, there existed mature, conscious Spirit beings and unconscious spirit seeds. These mature Spirit beings were able to take on forms under the direct pressure of the Primordial Light of God while the unconscious spirit seeds were unable to. A time came when these unconscious spirit seeds felt the desire to attain consciousness in order to enjoy the bliss, peace and blessings of Paradise. Because the intensification of the Primordial Light was too strong for them to absorb, it became necessary that they be ejected or expelled from Paradise to a more cooler region where they could gain consciousness and mature through experiencing. For this reason, they were endowed with talents and (Free-Will) so that by becoming conscious and mature, they may use their talents to ensure joyous activities throughout their gross material wandering and with their free will, decide whether to use their talents for service to God by recognising His Laws and live accordingly in order after their mission on the gross material earth, they may return as conscious, mature and perfect human spirits to Paradise. But as the prodigal son did, by over cultivating his intellect and left his spirit within him dormant, which is equivalent to saying (died spiritually), he squandered his talents on earthly pleasures and vanities, disobeyed the Laws of God which alone are the only ticket to the kingdom of God. Luckily for him, a time came where he recognised his errors, had a change of mind, he repented and the way back home was mercifully shown to him which he then walked unerringly until he got home(Paradise). Indeed there was joy and celebration in heaven just the same way it is till today when a soul finally makes it back home, overcoming all the imbroglios on his way. This is what Christ meant with His parable of the prodigal son. Going back to the beginning, we human beings were the unconscious spirit seeds who felt the urge for consciousness. Eating of the fruit was over cultivation of our intellect which destroyed the bridges to our spirits and left us only with the ability to recognise our flesh, sexual instinct which in due course became an hereditary sin and gave birth to many other sins like envy, hatred, slander with many atrocities committed therewith. The coming of Jesus was to provide us with this enlightenment and many more but mankind at that time were so immature to grasp Him. For that reason He promised us another, a Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, the Son of Man Who would guide us into all truth and show us more things to come(John16:12-15) and also bring the predicted Last Judgment. More questions are welcomed. Should u require full details of all the happenings, pls don't hesitate to ask. Peace! |

Religion / Re: Where Is The Garden Of Eden? by bsjay(m): 12:41pm On Jan 20, 2015 |
jeremiah505:I am so impressed with this question. The reason why we seem to be clinging to blind faith is because we have failed to ask questions such as this, believing everything our pastors tell us without investigations and examining so to attain conviction. Have u also seek to know what the sins against the Holy Spirit are and why they cannot be forgiven? Jesus said "seek and ye shall find." He also said "ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free!" The first step towards the recognition of the Truth is to understand the fact that the Bible is primarily a spiritual book. And that most of the events recorded therein do not refer to this gross material earth! The story of Adam and Eve, like other parables of Jesus is an allegory serves to convey spiritual knowledge of cosmic turning points, evolution and development of subsequent creation with man as the crown of this subsequent creation. I may not have time now to go into details but if any of u have a proper understanding of the parable of the prodigal son, u will come nearer to the truth behind the story of Adam and Eve. Neither Adam nor Eve has ever been incarnated on this gross material earth nor is the Garden of Eden refered to in the bible is ever on this earth. Unfortunately, we have given a very narrow, dangerous and one-sided interpretation to the parable of the prodigal son which has prevented us from any other recognition and understanding. The whole scriptures have been turned upside down to suit man's weaknesses and short-comings, also for their gains and spiritual comfort which only lull them to spiritual death. Again, I borrow the words of the Master; ye shall know the Truth, and It shall set you free from all present day chaos and conflict of the mind. |

I would also agree with a brother who likened the ten commandments to be ADVICE of a loving Father for His children. They are support and help to keep us on the right road. But the right understanding of the operation of the three basic Laws and strict adherence means everything. This is my opinion, those who know better than me will help further. Cheers |

Am not perturbed cos these (Aggrieved Peoples' Congress) known as APC are only doing what aggrieved people can do best. They only bark but can't bite. They only come out to make noise when important people have retired for the night. It only hurts me cos Fashola whom I respect as a learned man is in their midst and induced to vomit shit.
