Nice observation. But it appears he hung it on a plank of wood. Check the mouth and tail regions for the wood.

If the government was genuinely and effectively spending the N400 million on Sokoto State University annually, the University would be competing with the UAE universities in World universities ranking and many students from Sokoto State would benefit from it instead of the selected few (likely selected out of nepotism and cronyism).

This is just a tip of the iceberg.
They still maintain funding of students in Sudan, Uganda and perhaps other countries.
Millions of naira is paid annually on this wild goose chase.
I am yet to see an indigent student among all those that I know. Most are well connected. This is a good move by the present government , maybe the money will now be ploughed into improving education in nigeria , which is where u really find the indigent students

And how much was GEJ using to subsidize the fuel you ingrates were buying for N87 or the Kerosene you were buying for N100? Now you are paying N145 with possible increase any time from now. With endless tax even right down to your bank transactions all going into this govt pocket with no accountability

Budget during GEJs tenure was an average of about 4 trillion, including provision for subsidy. It follows that about 20 trillion naira was budgeted and spent during that period. How can we account for the difference between earnings and spendings.

We shouldn't forget to add the monies borrowed to finance budgets as well.
As much as it may be difficult to accept, perhaps sanusi was right about the missing money

Meanwhile we should all work for the realisation of Ize Iyamu governorship and should not lose focus by this ruling. Another court will upturn this ruling soon. Nigeria under APC has brought more than enough calamity to our economy. We all say a big NO to injustice, poverty and Boko Haram government. Edo shall be great under Pastor Ize Iyamu !!!!! No shaking

We should depart from voting for parties instead of individuals. Honestly speaking, how did chief Lucky Igbinedion perform as a PDP governor?

What do you understand from my post?

Tell us these complications......

NOTE: I AM NOT IN SUPPORT OF THE OTHER TYPES OF FGM HIGHLIGHTED BY THE OP, I SUPPORT ONLY THE FIRST, AND I GAVE MY REASONS

Any surgical procedure may have complications.
I will give a short list
1) excessive hemorrhage
- transmission of infections
- scar formation
- keloid formation
- stricture
- death

I listed this from a professional point of view. Of you still are not convinced, then so be it. Cheers
Health / Re: Female Genital Mutilation: What You Need To Know As A Nigerian by bskyb(m): 3:09pm On Jul 25, 2016
lexiconkabir:

I am in support of this particular FGM, because;

1.) It prevents unpleasant odours which result from foul secretions beneath the prepuce.

2.) It reduces the incidence of urinary tract infections

3.) It reduces the incidence of infections of the reproductive system.

see what WHO has to say about it in the book on Traditions that affect the health of women and children, published in 1979;

"With regard to the type of female circumcision which involves removal of the prepuce of the clitoris, which is similar to male circumcision, no harmful health effects have been noted."

1). The prepuce is different from the clitoris.
2.) That was in 1979.......and it doesn't say it has good effects, it only says " there are no harmful effects".
Things have since changed. You know that there can be complications, isn't it?. So why subject a human to a procedure that has no significant benefits with the possibility of complications?

Good philanthropic job,

Meanwhile there is a Councillor, Chairman and Governor in the State.

Sorry they don't really care about us.

The question is, "do we care about ourselves?". When the LG chairman or councillor distributes bags of rice, we collect it with glee and even abuse those who don't collect. If these same men are arrested for offences, we stage walk outs, claiming they are persecuting our brothers. God help us.

The day Tinubu takes up that kind of challenge is the day he will lose the respect of sane Nigerians......this is not the issue of West side/east side. I don't want to believe that Dino came to Lagos to fight, I really hope he had other important things that would better the lives of his constituents to do. Otherwise, this is a big Shame

Did you even bother to engage your mind and think a little bit, before even responding to my post? Your reply makes little or no sense, sorry!

Why are you bothered? People have their minds made up already. I still don't understand why people support politicians blindly, even when they have nothing to gain.
Do people really expect Tinubu to come out and attack Dino? Even if he decides to sleep right in front of Tinubu's house?

As for Tinubu, he did a lot of wrong things. However overall he hasn't been half as bad as so many others and that's why typically, our people support him. For those who are not aware, he was an active member of NADECO, most importantly, he was very instrumental in changing Lagos. Somehow, he has managed to "install" good successors.

If other leaders in Nigeria did what he did in this regard, Nigeria would be better.

This Tribalism being introduced in the army is a game plan though it's not new, but has never taken this precedential swoop

When the two weeks ceasefire for negotiations, the military takes on the Niger Delta Avengers maiming, raping, killing and molesting young, old innocent citizens of both gender in the name of looking for the Avengers!

Retiring the voices of the south in top military positions, paving way for smooth execution of Northern Agenda in a massive scale

We've witnessed Fulani herdsmen wiping out communities then enjoy presidential and military cover, the beheading in Kano the massacre of unarmed protesters including the rape on Niger Delta oil

Genocide is silently occurring.
Hutu and Tutsi of Rwanda comes to mind

South can not be taken un aware, before and after 2015 general elections SESS has never been this alert and prepared

Splinter groups every where. Just a single mishap another civil war!

Resource control now Federalism calling

Come on. I can't believe you still wrote this after identifying only 2 presumed Igbo military men.

Did you see the southwestern names there? And of course the northern names.

In fact, I think the northern guys were worst hit.

Just count them, without prejudice.

Hope govt will also be prosecuted for asking patients in dire need of care to make payments before they are treated. Hope people that need intensive care will get admitted whether or not they have money. Intensive care is not a luxury but a necessity (it costs a 250k deposit in some federal hospitals).
Hope patients will get blood when they need it, with or without payment (blood is life as u all know).
In short, many things need to be put right, so many things. Making this pronouncement is just playing to the gallery.

Good moves by AMB. If that is where the old man laid his head every night, then something should be done about his accomodation too.

Food and soaps will not solve his problem alone.

Why give 5 matresses to 1person, that means there wasn't any special plan for the old man. All they did was to give part of the goods meant for IDP to the old man.

Btw, why do we always paste names or paste stickers or customised bags of items we give to people in need.

If your must give to people in need, do it with you right-hand without your left-hand knowing.

Food and soap alone will never completely solve his problem. But we have to say kudos to her for this gesture. Nonetheless, food means a lot in a war ravaged region.
Again, remember he had made several pleas without response before now.
The mattresses are not too many, considering that he has 2 wives and 5 children.

Customization is something I loathe. But, she actually put her pix on only one of the goods. Maybe that is just for authentication. Maybe.

Do you mean that if he had appointed ministers early, Nigeria's earnings would have improved? And the price of oil, which is our main source of fx would hve miraculously increased.
