My seller can only call your buyer's vessel in to the terminal and load her without any upfront instrument. After a first successful deal the seller will get a vessel load and take to an agreed location, invite inspectors, take them on board for q and q in buyer's name, on successful inspectors/calibration the buyer make full payment. The procedure for the first deal is to make sure the buyer is not a broker who has little funds to play around with, a voyage charter of 10days maximum which is the normal duration for a voyage charter is ok to fly the deal, but if is a time charter better still. But the documents will be verified from the home office of the vessel handlers. Cheers

People, there are buyers and there are sellers but the problem is most claimed seller's don't have the fund to run the transaction and won't agree to step aside to let the end buyer discuss with the allottee either because the fear circumvention or the want to run the contract themself for a year or two (greed). Most people you call sellers are brokers who have connection not money to block product and those who call buyers have little money to block for logistics. If i give u a detailed procedure of a buyer from rotterdam, u will never deal cos it will look impossible to you but deals are sealed everyday. Secondly, is better to start with smaller quantities and build to bigger ones than to jump to 2MBBL because of the commission involved, i bet you when they deal will be sealed you won't be there. Finally, Try to have atleast one sure buyer and look for a sure seller or one sure seller and look for a sure buyer than jumping around. I have just one buyer in rotterdam (end buyer) and a sure seller in Nigeria who charters vessel load and we take over. The quantity he supplies is 40/50kmt BLCO, I am yet to venture into 2MBBL transactions. So Brothers don't condemn what you know little about , cheers
