advanceDNA: Thank you. There was no where it was said that people must understand neither was it said people must not understand. We have to deal with what we know as it is written in Acts 2:6-11. It was clear there what speaking in tongues mean. What other Christians did in later epistles of Paul is exactly what we are doing now. They simply adulterated it and were misinformed of the true concept of speaking in tongue. At least it's not recorded that Paul spoke in tongues hence he might not know. The description is simple, tongue means language and if you're speaking in languages and no one can understand it, then you ain't speaking in languages. It's quite that simple.. I can try to understand if they said they were speaking to God and not in tongue. At least since we don't have proof of the language of God, we can all take it as mystery. On a side note, those epistles of Paul are merely his teachings, just like the interpretation your pastor, Bishop, Pope or priest will give to the scriptures. Does passage of time make it infallible? If we took that of Paul and others, why don't we take further teachings of great men of God who came after? Lol. This is just a side note. |

advanceDNA: The bolded was so cause the benchmark has already been there. That for everyone that speaks in tongue people must hear and understand. And secondly I don't need to be proficient in another language, I'm Igbo and I can understand English hence for the person speaking in tongue, I must hear him in either of the above just as an Hausa man or Yoruba man would understand it concurrently in their own language. It's that simple. The people that gathered in Jerusalem did not know all languages. |

advanceDNA: Thank you for your clarification. I love when someone argues logically. Thanks... But I would think that for someone to accuse me of drunk, then the person must have at least heard a part. However, Acts 2:6-12. More emphasis on best 11 Acts 2:11 GNBDK both Jews and Gentiles converted to Judaism, and some of us are from Crete and Arabia — yet all of us hear them speaking in our own languages about the great things that God has done!” This is simple English. All heard them in their own tongue or language. I understand the explanation you're trying to give but then, the Bible was clear. Not the incoherent words we here today. I must salute your coutesy and politeness. |

advanceDNA: I think you fail to understand the point. The Apostles spoke and all heard them IN THERE LANGUAGE. However, what we hear ain't speaking in tongues. |

advanceDNA: He doesn't need to understand all languages. He just needs to hear it in his own indigenous languages as is in the Bible, Acts of the Apostles |
Religion / Re: How I Started Praying/speaking In Tongues. (my Experience) by Bunnatex(m): 8:53am On Jul 14 |
But sincerely, what you described isn't speaking in tongues. How many people could hear and understand you? The speaking in tongues was clearly explained in the Acts of the Apostles, what is done today isn't it. |

Considering the cost of education abroad it's quite cheap only if it can also match the quality. He's an investor and needs return on his investment. 15 Likes |

Safyqueen: I think I understand your logic. And I think it's a fair one. But then I think the house of assembly is trying to return to status quo on the state of affairs before the deposition of Sanusi. Maybe they are of the opinion that the old Emir was never meant to be deposed in the first place. |

Culture / Re: Emir Sanusi & Bayero's Conflicting Court Orders: A Lawyer's View. by Bunnatex(m): 9:22am On May 29 |
Safyqueen: Good, this Balkanization came as a result of bill by The House of Assembly who at the time thought it was the best thing to do. Now same house of assembly is saying they want to return to one Emirate. So what's the fuss about it? I think the only issue would be if it didn't pass through due process |
Culture / Re: Emir Sanusi & Bayero's Conflicting Court Orders: A Lawyer's View. by Bunnatex(m): 8:41pm On May 28 |
I'm no lawyer but I understood that the bill was passed by the legislature and signed into law by the governor. That would mean that it followed due process. Then why would the judge order that they return to sstatus quo when it means interfering with the duties of the legislature and executive? Besides same process was used to remove the Emir previously. At the end it's just politics. 25 Likes 1 Share |

Business / Re: CBN Governor Cardoso Blames Naira’s Fall On ‘Demand Season’ by Bunnatex(m): 7:59pm On May 23 |
I think that the elementary economics makes this simple. Demand and supply. As a country we demand dollars more than we demand our local currency. Or should we even talk about our politicians who love to Embezzle in dollars? Or our import driven economy? The indices are against the naira. 6 Likes 1 Share |
