In your predictions published on August 14, 2016 you alluded to the fact that only the faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Ahmed Makarfi could revive the party. Now with the Supreme Court having ruled in favour of the former Kaduna State governor, is that an indication that the party will bounce back?

We have just started. With Makarfi back in the saddle PDP will be on its way to gradual recovery if they take the right steps. As it is PDP needs proper cleansing. Makarfi can still bring the party back but if the party brings the wrong person for the presidential election in 2019 the party may not win. Then APC will now have crisis with Makarfi returning except they are able to put their house in order and re-strategise if the party is to retain power. At end of the day it may neither be APC nor PDP that will get the central if they fail to present sellable candidates. I don’t want to talk about candidates now; at the appropriate time I will reveal that.

What I am saying is that Makarfi can still stabilize PDP. What happens in Osun does not mean that PDP is back. They should reorganize the party properly and do the right in the party.

At the same time APC is cracking. If APC wishes to retain the Presidency they should also ensure they put their house in order. Then the vice president’s life is in danger but God will see him through. Many things will still be exposed about the plots against him. There are so many things we don’t see now; the vice president is struggling against the cabal. As it is now the villa is vacant.
What do you mean by this?
We still need to pray very well for Buhari to recover quickly. He may not be stable till the end of his term. I am also seeing a big referendum coming in Nigeria but I cannot see when or how it will come because God did not show me that. Honestly, Buhari needs prayers. His family needs to pray very well for him. I am not saying the medical treatment he is receiving will not work, but it is not the lasting solution. It is only God that can sustain his life. Buhari must not die because if he dies it will affect a lot of things in the North. But I see the national flag being flown at half mast but I don’t know where that is coming from. Oyegun’s seat is shaking. His position will be in crisis if Buhari fails to continue.

The agitation for the state of Biafra is still on. What is your view on it?
Nnamdi Kanu’s life is at risk especially because of the way he talks, his misuse of words. Forget about all he is doing, let him continue to pray to the dead souls. Kanu will not lead Biafra. Biafra vision may be actualized in the nearest future, he will not lead the Igbo to actualize the vision. He is taking some wrong steps that will fail him to actualize his dream as a leader of Biafra. Then the Igbo should not expect the Presidency in 2019. Their time has not come. I am talking as a prophet not as a politician. Kanu is still going to face a lot of challenges and if he is not careful enough, he may miss it. He must be careful so that he doesn’t lose his life in the cause of this struggle. He needs to be extremely careful and watchful.

There will be election in Anambra although there will be crisis. If the governor remains steadfast with his party APGA God can help him to sustain that seat but he if he attempts to take wrong steps, he will see the other side of the voters. In a nutshell Nigeria is sitting on time bomb.

No party can do it. That is why I said Buhari should leave the issue of corruption because if we continue to play money politic, the fight against corruption will continue to be a mirage, even the EFCC cannot effectively fight corruption…until we stop money politics.

A Christian father and his young daughter were burned alive after Boko Haram raided their church. “On the fateful day, while we were in the church praying, they stormed and ordered us to renounce our Christian faith or be killed,” said John Mbah, recounting the day his father and sister were murdered at the

hands of the Islamic terror group.
When Mbah and the other Christians living in Dadawa, Nigeria went to church that day in April, they had no idea they would become the targets of radical Islamic terrorists.

Mbah watched his father, Pastor Kenneth Mbah, sister, Adaugo Mbah, and countless other parishioners be burned alive when they refused to renounce their faith in Christ and convert to Islam.

“As my father was about to beg them to allow him to be with his faith, they set him ablaze with the fuel they were carrying, and when my sister, Adaugo Kenneth, rushed to him to stop the inferno, they poured fuel on her too,” he told NTA News.

Mbah’s only choice was to run for his life or he too would become a martyr.

“Because their attention was on the fire, my elder brother, Nnamdi Kenneth and I sneaked into the inner apartment and as they were ordering us to come out, we knew it was our turn to be killed, so we escaped through the window,” he recalls.

“As we were running in different directions, I heard my father and sister crying in pain but I had no option than to save my life first.”

Mbah’s fled to another province in Nigeria and is working to bring justice for his family and fellow Christians.

“The sect vowed to kill us if they ever see us again,” he says. “I am calling on the federal government to please come to my aid.”

Mbah’s story is not the first of its kind. Earlier this year the jihadis burned children alive as part of an assault that killed 86 people in northeastern Nigeria.

It is another example of the horrors that the Islamic terror group Boko Haram is committing in Africa. The group has been a growing threat since its birth in 2009, and has a death count even greater than that of ISIS.

A halal supermarket in a Paris suburb has been told by local authorities it must start selling alcohol and pork or else it will be shut down.

Good Price discount mini-market in Colombes has been told by the local housing authority, from which it rents its premises, that it has not followed the conditions on the lease that stipulate that the shop must act as a “general food store.”
The authority argues that all members of the local community are not being served properly if there are no alcohol or pork products in the Good Price store, which is run as a franchise and which last year replaced another small supermarket.

“The mayor of Colombes, Nicole Goueta, went there herself and asked the owner to diversify the range of products by adding alcohol and non-halal meats,” the mayor’s chief of staff, Jérôme Besnard, told The Telegraph.

He said locals, particularly older residents, had complained that they could no longer get the full range of products at Good Price, which replaced a regular supermarket, and had to travel some distance now to do their shopping.

“We want a social mix. We don’t want any area that is only Muslim or any area where there are no Muslims,” Mr Besnard said, adding that the town’s reaction would have been the same had a kosher shop opened on that spot.

The Colombes housing authority argues that the store breaches Frenchrepublican principles by prioritising a certain group within society rather than catering to all categories.

It has taken legal action to bring an end to the lease which would normally run until 2019. The case goes to court in October.

Soulemane Yalcin, who runs the shop under franchise, said he was merely catering to the demands of his customers in this area of large public housing estates.

“It’s business,” said Mr Yalcin.

“I look around me and I target what I see. The lease states ‘general food store and related activities’ – but it all depends on how you interpret ‘related activities’,” he told Le Parisien newspaper.

He has hired a lawyer to fight the housing authority’s bid to get him evicted.

The row in Colombes came as another town – this time in the south of France – decided to take action to stop another perceived breach of republican principles.

The mayor of Pennes-Mirabeau, near Marseille, is seeking to ban an event at a water park that is open only to burkini-clad women and children.

The event organised by a local community group said the need for modest swimwear was because there would be male lifeguards on duty at the Speedwater Park venue.

Burkinis are banned at municipal pools in France, as are women-only events, but private venues are in theory allowed to host them.

But the mayor of Pennes-Mirabeau said he was outraged by this “provocation” and that he would use a bylaw to ban it on the grounds that it is likely to cause public disorder.

Munich is in lockdown tonight as at least six people have been killed and 10 injured in a shooting rampage involving three gunmen.

A major police operation is ongoing in Munich, around the city’s Olympic Park, with the force warning people to stay in their homes and avoid public spaces as they admitted they don’t know where the gunmen.

Terrified shoppers were seen running for their lives from the Munich Olympia Shopping Centre, in the district of Moosach, after hearing gunshots.

A video purporting to show the shooter, dressed in black, firing 20 shots has been posted on Twitter. The footage shows him outside a McDonald’s directly outside the shopping centre.

The area around the Munich Olympia Shopping Centre, in the district of Moosach, has been sealed off as emergency services try to control the situation.

Police have confirmed that there a multiple deaths as a result of the incident and German media have reported there may be up to 15 killed.

Tonight, Munich police tweeted: ‘We currently do not know where to find the perpetrators. Watch yourself and avoid to be the public’.

A second shooting has taken place near Marienplatz subway station, which is just four miles from the Olympic Park area.

Munich Police said in a statement: ‘At around 5.50pm (local time) today there were witnesses who called the police and said there was a shooting at the Hanauer Street.

‘The shooting moved from that street to the shopping centre. The witnesses said there were three different people with weapons.’

A police reporter for Bavarian Radio said police were moving people off the streets in central Munich as they search for the perpetrators.

‘All of the police forces are at the shopping centre and at the official places in Munich as well and they’re calling out that nobody’s allowed to go to the official places,’ the reporter, Lena Deutch, told the BBC.

‘They are trying to close everything down because we do not know where this person who’s been doing the shooting is at the moment.’

It is reported that at least one of the gunman fled after his shooting spree on the city underground network, which has now been shut down.

Photos flashed on to social media sites of at least one body covered by aluminium sheets.

‘Stay in your homes. Leave the road!’ Polizei München said in a Tweet.

A spokesman for the German police said there was a ‘shooting spree’. An official at the Munich Olympia Shopping Centre declined comment, saying only, ‘We are experiencing a problem.’

Workers have said they are still hiding inside the Munich shopping centre after the shooting in the building.

One employee reported that ‘many shots were fired’ during the incident and he saw one person lying on the ground with serious injuries.

Laolu’s body paintings, which he calls the “Sacred Art of the Ori” appear in the fourth chapter of “Lemonade” titled “Apathy,” which features the song “Sorry.”

Dancers adorned in Laolu’s white Yoruba body paint move and sway while seated on a bus with Beyoncé, who recites a haunting monologue inspired by a poem by Somali-British poet Warsan Shire.

ABC News spoke with Laolu today, and here’s what he had to say about his “life-changing” collaboration with Queen B:

How and when did you get involved?

It was December of 2015. Some people from Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé’s company, messaged me on Instagram and emailed me saying that they would love for me to be part of a music video project with Beyoncé in two weeks. Of course, it was top secret, so I could not tell anybody.

Then something came up and they asked me if I could come right away, so I dropped everything I was working on and went to New Orleans. People thought I was crazy, but when it’s Beyoncé, you don’t question it.

What did you do in New Orleans?

So I was asked to do my Sacred Art of the Ori for the dancers, and what that essentially means is Sacred Art of the Essence. The dancers were my canvas, my muses. I would watch and listen to their dance, body movements, energy smiles and strength and try to bring out what they were capturing with the movements in my paint.

The paint is a white ink with very spiritual meaning in Yoruba culture. It’s something we often use as a dedication to worship of orishas, the gods in Yoruba religion. The vision Beyoncé had was very intense and deep — connecting with the Yoruba culture and all. You know, the Yoruba religion and culture has traveled all over the world after the slave trade, and it resonates so much with African people from the diaspora all over the world.

Did you get to meet Beyoncé?

Yes! I wasn’t painting that day, and she was just around the corner and called out to me. I was stunned she even recognized me at first, but it was absolutely amazing talking to her.

She told me she was sorry for the short notice and that she was grateful I came down, but I was thinking in my head I should be the one grateful! She told me she saw my art, my videos and that she loved my body paint and thought I was a genius. I was just like, ‘Wow!’ Trust me, it changed my life.

What was it like working with Beyoncé and her team?

Beyoncé is the first one in and the last to leave, and her energy is just on another level. She gets everyone working on their A-game, and you just feel motivated to do better than what you think is your best.

The directors and all the other people on the team are just talented, bright and gifted people. They made my job really easy and gave me no constraints on my art. It was an honor. I also got to connect with a lot of other people from the set who also had Nigerian roots or Yoruba roots, and it was beautiful talking with them.

Many people have likened Beyoncé to Oshun, the Yoruba orisha of womanhood. As someone with Yoruba heritage, how do you think she embodies Oshun?

Oshun is supposed to be very beautiful, and I mean just in the sense of beauty alone you can already see that in Beyoncé. She is also very in touch with herself and very much about spirituality, giving, sensuality and power — all characteristics of Oshun.

And there are very different sides of Oshun, like her anger, which you Beyoncé channel in parts of the video like the part when she bursts open the door in her yellow dress and floodwaters come out.

Beyoncé is tapping into her roots, and it’s so amazing honestly — to see African coming to the forefront and being seen by millions of people. She is telling our story of the past, present and future through her art and I’m so happy to have been a part of it.

How much did you know about “Lemonade” and was it hard keeping it a secret?

All of us really didn’t know much. I mean, we knew we were working for a music video and an album was in the works, but that was it. Whenever I caught up with people in video we would ask each other, ‘Have you heard anything?’ and talk in code, but no one ever knew anything.

When Beyoncé dropped “Formation,” I was so excited, but then I realized the work we did was different, so I knew they were planning something bigger.

Ever since I got back to New York, I’ve had a big smile on my face. But I couldn’t tell anyone I met or worked with Beyoncé. It’s paid off, though. “Lemonade” was truly a masterpiece, true art, and I’m inspired more than ever.

Confirm! Teebillz nearly killed himself this morning – he tried to jump off the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge

When Teebillz shared his suicide note this morning on IG while pouring his heart out about the demise of his marriage to Tiwa Savage, many of us thought/hoped he was just talking, but he wasn’t. Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun tried to commit suicide this morning by jumping off the Lekki- Ikoyi toll bridge

According to an eye-witness named Chukwuma Ani, who witnessed the incident and was one of the men who pulled Teebillz off the bridge, he told Nigeriacamera exclusively that around past 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge, a car hit his own from behind, damaging his car. He said he came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle that hit his. He didn’t know who the man was (it was Teebillz) but he said he berated him for hitting his car and asked the man to come out and assess the damage caused to his car. The man looked at him and told him to leave…that he was there for a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide and Chukwuma Ani would hear about it later…

Not knowing who the guy was or understanding why he was talking suicide, Mr Ani said he kept insisting that the driver must come down from his car and see the damage he had caused to his car. He said he noticed alcohol on the floor of the driver’s car so thought the man was drunk. He said while shouting and berating the driver for hitting his car, the guy just suddenly drove his car with speed to the front.

Ani said he got into his own car and gave chase and was surprised to see the driver of the car parking his car in the middle of the bridge as other cars drove past. He said he parked in front of the driver and approached the man again, telling him that he couldn’t even apologize for hitting his car and was instead trying to drive off. He said as he was berating the man, he (Teebillz) got down from his car and walked to the bridge railing.

He said he stood there wondering what the driver was trying to do and it was at that point that two other cars approached them. He said as he was trying to figure out who the new comers were, Teebillz had moved to the bridge railing and was trying to jump. Mr. Ani said a light skinned guy came out from the first car and began running towards Teebillz screaming and that was when he realized what was going on..

“I thought I was watching a movie” Ani told Nigeriacamera “the man held the railing and tried to jump over it and that was when the yellow man held him and started shouting for help. The two of them nearly fell into the water. I quickly joined the yellow man to pull the guy out and while we were struggling with him, one PSquare twin (Peter Okoye) and Banky W joined us to pull the man out ” Ani said

what a life! Tragedy struck on Friday evening, as one of the wives of the late Yoruba movie actor, Isola Durojaiye [aka Alasari], identified as Adeola, was crushed to death by a truck in Adatan area of Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

It was learnt that the mother of one was coming down on a motorbike when the incident occurred and she was reported to have died on the spot.

Tribune reports that the truck rammed into the woman from behind which resulted in her death.
“The truck crushed the woman from behind as she was trying to disembark from an okada. She died instantly,” an eyewitness said.
The remains of the deceased were interred at late Alasari’s home at Elega, in Abeokuta on Saturday.

The incident was confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi.

He said, “The accident occurred at Car Wash in Adatan on Friday, where a truck crushed a woman to death. We later got to know her identity as the wife of the late Yoruba actor and movie producer, Ahmed Isola Durojaiye popularly called Alasari.”

Meet the criminal in uniform who allegedly led his men to rob a trailer at gunpoint in Sagamu Ogun State on Saturday.
The 4 policemen led by Inspector Durojaiye Taiwo stopped a trailer around midnight on Saturday, they diverted the trailer to Okokomaiko area of Lagos and sold the content for 30 million naira.

Unknown to them, the trailer had a tracker.

The leader of the FSARS for the robbery , Inspector Durojaiye Taiwo and two other members of the team escaped, while Victor is being detained in FSARS cell in Ikeja. Victor was arrested after a gun duel with policemen attached to Okokomaiko police station.

A police source said: “The incident happened on Saturday night. Inspector Durojaiye is the leader of the team. The team is called ‘striking team.’ They all came from State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Panti, three months ago to join FSARS, Ikeja.

The criminals tied the trailer driver and his conductor and bundled them inside their Lexus Jeep before dumping them in a bush at Ijebu Ode.

Inspector Durojaiye and 2 Policemen have disappeared while one of the suspect identified as Corporal Victor has been arrested.

A female gospel singer, Yvonne Omoarebokhae, has been found dead in a hotel owned by a former lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly.She allegedly lodged into the hotel with a Lagos based Pastor whose name was given as Apostle Psalm Okpe of the Fresh Oil Ministry.Husband of the deceased, Odion, said his wife met Apostle Sam on Facebook and after several months of chatting, his late wife was invited last week Thursday by the Pastor to perform in Warri, Delta State.

Odion said Apostle Sam claimed to have programme in Warri, Asaba and Benin City where his wife was to perform, The Nation reports.
He said his wife called him at about 10am last Friday that she would be home soon.

His words: “At about 9:30pm, the police used my wife’s phone to call and invited me to report at the Airport Road police station.

“I waited for more than two hours at the police station until the police asked me to go home but I insisted on knowing the whereabouts of my wife.

“The DPO later told me that my wife was picked at a hotel in the GRA and rushed to the Benin Central hospital where she was confirmed dead.
“I am yet to see the corpse of my wife to know want happened and who is responsible for her death. We have a three-year old baby at home.”

It was gathered that the pastor has been arrested.

Edo Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, confirmed the death of the woman and said the matter was under investigation.

His words, “It is under investigation. The man is married and the woman is married. Not until a post mortem is conducted, we cannot conclude what happened. I have asked the matter to be transferred to the State CID.

The Department of State Services, DSS, has taken over Umuanyi Forest near Aba in Abia State, where it said that about 55 unidentified shallow graves were discovered.
Not less than 55 identified persons were said to have been allegedly buried in the graves by members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB.

The DSS is accusing the members IPOB of engaging in kidnapping and extrajudicial killings.

IPOB is being led by the Director of guerilla Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, who is being prosecuted by the Federal Government for alleged treasonable felony.

The secret service further accused IPOB members of the kidnapping and killing of five Hausa-Fulani men whose remains it said were buried in the same forest.

But MASSOB, which is another pro-Biafra group, rose in defence of IPOB and dismissed the allegations by the DSS as lacking merit and evidence.

A statement issued by DSS spokesperson, Mr. Tony Opuiyo, read:

“Service has uncovered the heinous role played by members of the IPOB in the abduction/kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely Mohammed Gainako, Ibrahim Mohammed, Idris Yakubu, and Isa Mohammed Rago at Isuikwuato LGA in Abia State.
“The abducted men were later discovered at the Umuanyi Forest, Abia State, where they were suspected to have been killed by their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst 50 other shallow graves of unidentified persons.

“Arrests and investigation conducted so far revealed that elements within the IPOB carried out this dastardly action.”

With this act, Opuiyo said it is pertinent to alert the general public that IPOB was showing its true divisive colour and objectives, while steadily embarking on gruesome actions in a bid to ignite ethnic terrorism and mistrust amongst non-indigenes in the South-East region and other parts of the country.

Following this act, the DSS alerted that tension was currently rife among communal stakeholders in the state, with possibilities of spillover to other parts of country.

The agency warned that it would not hesitate to act decisively within its statutory mandate to ensure that the sponsors and perpetrators of “this action are apprehended and prosecuted for their crime.”

A mother of two, Nneka, who left her husband’s house along Baga road in Maiduguri, Borno State, for over three months has been traced to a brothel where she has been secretly working as a prostitute.

The married woman was said to have dressed up one evening and left the house on the pretext of going to buy something in a provision store. Since then she had failed to return or make contact with her husband, until more than three months later when the husband caught her red-handed.

A Civilian JTF man in Maiduguri, Kabiru Skido, who assisted in tracking the shameless wife, said he was on duty checking vehicles along Baga market road when the husband of the woman ran to him and requested that he should help stop a commercial Keke NAPEP that was approaching them.
“I stopped the oncoming Keke NAPEP when suddenly the man ran to one of them and started dragging a woman out. My colleagues and I intervened to know what was happening. He explained that the woman was his wife and that he traced her to a brothel behind the market but rather than follow him home, she jumped into a Keke NAPEP and was about to escape once again.

“Suddenly, the wife started shouting saying: ‘yes, you are not taking good care of me. I have to go and find something to take care of myself.’ When we realised that they were about to raise a crowd around us and at a time they started talking in their Igbo language, we invited an elderly Igbo businessman from the market, called Pa Okoro, who came and took them away,” he said.

When contacted, Pa Okoro said she told him her husband had not been giving her pocket money and that he also refused to set up business for her. She said she’s sleeping with men to raise money for business.

The undergraduate identified as Jacob Eniola was forced to drink the poisonous substance because he knew their operational secrets.

Few days after their social media war, Telecommunication giant, Globacom, has dropped brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye of the Psqaure fame, as its brand ambassadors.Entertainment Express reports that the Okoye brothers were dropped following the way Peter handled an issue that occurred during the grand finale of dance competition, ‘Dance with Peter’.

Peter and one of the company’s representatives were involved in an issue that the singer/dancer handled unprofessionally, resulting in their termination as brand ambassadors.

The sources also revealed that truly, the company had failed to fulfill some of its promises, but that such did not give Peter the right to insult them.
