busynett:Good morning VO, What's the average waiting period if when the US citizen parent file for their married children as against adult citizen filing for his siblings which is around 12 to 13 years now? I read somewhere on uscis website the preference of each above others. Regards. |

Good day madam, My wife younger brother became US citizen early this year and he plans filing for his siblings and parents. From what I have read so far, its going to be faster for parents than siblings and I guess I read one of your comments where you mentioned twelve(12) years. So we have asked him to put in petition for parents and hold on for us to get more information. We have made family visit before to US while I was the principal applicant of family of five(5) and we still have plans of visiting, my question is while the petition is on for my wife, can she still travel with us as a family on visit with her valid B1/B2? Also if I remained the principal applicant during the petition period, can her B1/B2 be renewed or she can't renew or can't enter US for visit when her petition is pending. Which other faster way should she adopt rather than waiting for over 12 years. Thanks. |

Just an observation, the 2nd picture is the odd one. It has passenger side mirror while other pictures don't. The colour is silver while others have gold and finally, the headlight is absolutely different. |

EuroMeko: I share your view but a friend told me they also do a better job somewhere in Lagos. He said the job would take about 5 days. Lets share from the experience of those that have done it in Nigeria and make comparison with the ones done in US. |

Autos / Re: Dubious Fuel Stations - Anyone with similar experiences? by busynett: 6:21am On Jun 22, 2011 |
I usually fill a 30 litre jerrycan @65 naira equals 1,950 naira so I buy from two gas stations mostly because I usually pay between 1,930 - 1,960 naira depending on the time of the day. I avoid filling in the afternoon when temperature is high, mostly in the morning or evening. |

What I know is that zain now Airtel has 3G on special sim. You need to contact their customer service. My sim comes with 3G once you are under coverage. For GLO, you need to call for activation. |

Still enjoying my Google Nexus S running Gingerbread 2.3.2. Bought this phone from BestBuy store in December in HTown. It has made me abandon my laptop for most of the day because I can also remotely access my server in the office. Just less than 2 months already looking to changing this machine to one with faster processor Rgds |

Police is always your friend and always blind to what is happening when they are on black. |

This is what happens when you have square peg in round hole. Its shouldn't take this long to fix a phone if you have competent hands, right tool and good spares. @paypal, I guess the lady that attended to you last yr must have gotten a better offer (job) where she would be more appreciated. |

Phones / Re: New Op4.2 Multiwindows/handler by busynett: 6:42am On Aug 12, 2009 |
I checked this thread but didn't see any response to copy and paste, so here is my guide. I use this method regularly. In a text box, select Options, with Op 4.2 multiwindow , you have more options than others. So select Copy All, if you need to copy all text or hold down the shift button (I use Nokia E71) and use your navi button to select the req text , then use the left button to copy the text. Good thing is your can copy diff text, all goes to the clipboard To paste, you select Options button then either select Paste-clipboard to see all copied items or simply select Paste Latest for the latest copied text. Hope this helps. @Chris I need to download, my browser window is not opening, kindly send me the right settings (ip and other stuff ) or the OMMW download settings, Busynett@hotmail.com thanks |
Computers / Re: Mtn 3.5g Data Service: How Good? by busynett: 8:42am On Aug 07, 2009 |
@all MTN thinks they are fooling us by telling us that via sms due to network upgrade, you may experience outage in international calls, roaming, blackberry, data services. Meanwhile the outage was due to the Sat-3 issue. Other operators sent sms linking the poor service to Sat-3, just do *556# on your phone now and see MTN deceit message. The speed is now increasing becos they are now routing data traffic through part of the Sat-3, from the response time you know that. Its less than 550ms. Carry go wt your download abeg . |

Autos / Re: Tint Permit At friendly price by busynett: 11:40am On Jun 20, 2009 |
Officially you apply for permission when your car glass is tinted, inclusive should be copies of your car documents, passport photograph and your application letter. You dont pay Police to get the permit, only that your application can be there for days, weeks, months and years. Permits are give ONLY from Abuja. A story was posted by a woman that came home for xmas and drove her Sienna from Lagos to Akure, she was stopped over 10 check points and later given a document by a Police station in Akure as permit for her tinted glass. She was later stopped some miles away that the document is fake. What can one do to be free from Nigeria Police |
Car Talk / Re: Honda Babyboy Gear Problems. Any Personal Experience To Share? by busynett: 6:18am On Jun 14, 2009 |
I have been driving Honda 2002 V6 Ex for a while now. The Honda was bought and shipped into Lagos from Houston last year with 116k Mileage, now the mileage is over 122k. I have not had any gear issue, though I checked the transmission oil two months ago and my mechanic said its gone down a little so I filled it up. I do regular oil checks, tire pressure, radiator, fuel has never gone below 1/3 always fill up. This car was brought to me while in Abuja from Lagos, I used it for about three weeks (good road though). I serviced the car (changed oil and oil filter), changed all brake pads and I drove it back to Lagos ( about 8 1/2hrs drive) all alone with full ac stopped twice just to refuel at NNPC Okene and NNPC Akure, on 160Km/h between Ilesa and Ife by-pass on auto cruise. Got home safely My point is one really needs to take good care of his/her car(s), then its wont disappoint you. I listen carefully when I drive most times, I dont blast sound so I as to know when there an unusual change in engine sound or strange sound, I always monitor my dash board for temp, and other indicators. I have friends that bought Honda Accord 2000, 2001, 2002 all V6 with very low mileage but have either changed or replaced something on their gear box. Physically the cars look "unkept"and uncared for. So as you lay your bed so you sleep on it. Regards 2 Likes |
