Family / Install And View Your CCTV Camera Online From Anywhere In The World by BuyCCTV: 9:36pm On Oct 24, 2016
Most homes, offices, schools, restaurants stores etc now have CCTV camera installed, this is a good approach to combating crime and putting your home and property under surveillance.

Over the years we have tried to solve major hindrances to why people are not installing CCTV camera in their homes and business places and why those that have it installed are not putting it to maximum usage.

Read below our findings and solutions:

1. Supposed high price of CCTV camera in Nigeria: this was the major problem we found hindering people from installing CCTV cameras in their homes and business places. Note that CCTV camera are now very affordable and we wrote a post on how to pick the best and cheap CCTV camera solution at a cheap price. read here: Best Cheap CCTV Home surveillance cameras installation.

Power problem: this was the second problem we found out as surveillance system will not be efficient if not running 24/7 but with the current power supply in the country that may not be possible so we came up with two solutions to help power CCTV cameras 24/7 Solar powered CCTV Camera and Battery Powered CCTV Solution with this solutions you can get your CCTV camera running for 24 hours every day.

Recently we found out some clients wants to be able to view real time video footage of their home/property/business etc from anywhere.

Over the years this has been a big challenge in Nigeria since internet is expensive and also our ISP do not offer static IP which makes it very difficult to setup CCTV cameras for online monitoring.

All that is history now as you can now get internet service for as cheap as 3000 naira to take care of remote monitoring of your CCTC camera system of a month.

ISP still doesnt offer static IP but we have a technology now that can work fine even on dynamic IP, its called peer to peer (p2P) technology.

With P2P cloud technology your CCTV camera can be setup online in just few minutes and you will be able to view real time video from your CCTV camera from anywhere in the world over the internet.

There are apps for android, iOS, windows and for PC and Mac.

The major challenge of CCTV installation in Nigeria is no more cost, as CCTV surveillance system is quite affordable now in the market, the major challenge is now power supply as a CCTV system that can’t run almost 24/7 can’t be very efficient so a battery powered CCTV will come to mind.

Installing an inverter in the house could help but the cost of a complete inverter to power the house and your CCTV surveillance system might be very expensive, we find it even more cost-effective and efficient to have a standalone power solution to power your surveillance system different from that of the house (inverter).

Our solution is a battery powered CCTV, this is cheaper than our Solar Powered CCTV solution This battery powered CCTV solution comes with great advantages and makes sure your surveillance system is always online.

Our Battery Powered CCTV Solution:

1. It can power the whole CCTV system (cameras + DVR/NVR) and a display (TV).
2. It can run for 24hours after full charge.
3. It can be charged even by a small generator when down.
4. It takes only 4 to 6 hours for full charge.
5. It’s a very portable and flexible solution.
6. It can be upgraded to a solar powered system.

If you have any inquiry concerning this solution just email info@buycctv.com.ng

WHAT IS THE INSTALLATION TIME? WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR SINGLE PURCHASE OF 4 CAMERAS WITHOUT YOU INSTALLING. AND WHAT IS YOUR PRICE IF YOU ARE THE ONE TO INSTALL.
WHAT'S THE PRICE FOR DOUBLE FACE CAMERA.
THANKS.

WHAT IS THE INSTALLATION TIME?

installation time for this solar powered cameras depends on:

a. The site to be installed....is it going to be wall mounted or on a pole.

wall mount

pole mount

It comes with a wall mount by default..but sometimes we face a problem of location where there is no wall to mount it on.

if its going to be wall mounted then maximum of 4 hours.
if its going to be pole mounted then maximum of a day.

b. are we going to set it up on the net for remote viewing? by default you can view this camera on any device even without internet but it has a range...so if you want to view it from anywhere in the world you will need to set it up on the net...which will take more time but still all installations will be done an completed in a day.

NOTE: there might be a 2-4 days delay from purchase to installation as we have to set the system all up and working from our office before installation.

WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR SINGLE PURCHASE OF 4 CAMERAS WITHOUT YOU INSTALLING?

please note that this system is a single solar panel for a single camera. i.e a panel powers a camera and it has already being fixed and setup for you. if you need 4 cameras then you will have to purchase 4 of this unit (a set of 1 camera, 1 solar panel, inbuild battery etc).

current price is from N65,000 to N75,000 per piece.

WHAT IS YOUR PRICE IF YOU ARE THE ONE TO INSTALL?

installation depends on the location as currently we are only in abuja so if you need installation outside abuja then we have to put into consideration the risk of traveling with the product, transportation etc.

normally we install the product for just N10,000 for clients in abuja for 1-4 cameras

WHAT'S THE PRICE FOR DOUBLE FACE CAMERA?

we currently dont have a double face camera

Op, u have sampled a good product if it is what u say it is.
But believe me,u have not done enough to market your product!
It's not enough to drop a link to a website that asks someone to buy without further details.
Am interested but not convinced to pay!!!
If u can do better, we may strike a deal.

i totally understand this with lots of Nigerians shopping online from a "new website" we are sure working on this but presently we dont collect payment via the website.

For now all we just need is interested people to contact us and we would work out a way of suitable for you, mostly we install for our clients even with out them paying a dime.

Thanks you can send an email to info@buycctv.com.ng for inquiry

Recently in Nigeria the need for CCTV surveillance security system in every house has become very important in guiding once property, family and helping police track down criminals.

The initial hindrance for most people in Nigeria for not getting a CCTV system installed was the high price of getting it but lately the prices of CCTV cameras have become very affordable that all homes can now get one installed as for example a four (4) camera CCTV system can be installed for less than N70,000.

Now that CCTV cameras are quite affordable most homes face the challenge of power supply to power the CCTV cameras and system, for a CCTV camera to be very effective it should be active 24hrs everyday which seems to be impossible going by the current power situation in Nigeria.

Another problem people face is the running of wires all over their house, personally I find that disturbing when I see truncking pipes running all over the wall, come on this is 21st century.

To tackle the above hindrances which people face and make them shy away from installing CCTV cameras in their homes we have a particular product that will solve all that. “Solar powered wireless camera” this product that run 2 days completely without sun, which means with sunshine it will run continuously.

The camera can be viewed and controlled on any device (PC, iPhone, Android, Windows mobile, etc) without internet within the range of 30 meters with obstructions and 50 meters straight without obstructions and can also be viewed and controlled remotely from anywhere In the world with internet access.

The product is cost effective as it also cut the high price of CCTV cables which are known to be very expensive.

Note: These cameras are day and night cameras.

CCTV means Closed-Circuit Television, which is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. CCTV is often used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as Houses, Offices, Banks, Airports and Stores etc.

Types of Cameras

- Indoor Cameras
- Outdoor Cameras
- IR Day/Night Cameras (InfraRed)
- Bullet Cameras
- Hidden Cameras

Indoor Camera
– Indoor camera as the name suggests are used for indoor security mechanism. Depending upon your security needs, you can mount it at any suitable location inside the building. These are suitable for security in homes, schools, officers, hotels, etc.

Outdoor Camera
– Outdoor CCTV Camera is used for outdoor places. They are mostly used for entry and exit points with limited night lighting. Outdoor cameras typically have hard shell vandal-proof casings and a variety of lens options.

IR Day/Night Camera – These are used for high alert security areas where surveillance needs to happen throughout day and night. In the daytime the camera functions like a normal camera with standard colors and at night it switches to low-lux black and white mode and still capture images in the dark with the help of Infrared lights.

Dome Camera
– This are indoor cameras which are installed inside a dark dome and are designed in a way that they go unnoticed by visitors. They come in compact design for a discreet appearance. The thief does not know if the camera is recording. These cameras can also be rotated and tilted manually.

Bullet Camera
– Bullet cameras are outdoor cameras placed inside a bullet shaped housing, and they are used in residential places as well as commercial places. They are small in size, have an integrated design, and are really effective and can stand the harsh weather of the sun and rain as they come protected.

Hidden Camera - Hidden cameras are compact in size and are used for secret monitoring. They are usually placed in/on any other unsuspicious device, like cameras on wall clocks, pens, key holders etc, they are mostly referred to as spy cameras.

What is a DVR

A Digital Video Recorder is a device that help control CCTV cameras, it stores images from the cameras into its internal disk making video recordings readily available for play backs, as a user can go back to any time in the recording and playback a recording in a matter of seconds.

DVR makes recorded video available even over the internet as user can view their CCTV cameras from anywhere in the world on their computers or mobile devices.

It is true that a CCTV camera will still function without a DVR, as a CCTV camera can be connected directly to a television for live viewing but that will deprive the user all the great function of a DVR.

The use of audio recorder with a CCTV Camera

Audio surveillance equipment such as surveillance microphones are useful tools to add to your CCTV camera systems, however federal, state, and local laws must be considered before implementing such systems. Microphones allow operators of surveillance systems to not only see what is going on at their home or business, but also allow you to hear what is going on. Having audio surveillance is a big step into making your business safe, productive, and secure. You will be able to hear what is being said and you can ensure that employees are safe.

What makes up a complete CCTV Surveillance Security System?

- CCTV Cameras
- DVR System with Hard disk
- Cables and Plugs (BNC & DC)
- Power Adapter
- Audio Recorder
- Alarm System
