Religion / Re: Why Does "Works" Work Without Prayers, But Prayers Dont Work Without "Works"? by Cadentra: 4:08am On Aug 16, 2018
My belief is that faith is what makes a prayer matter. Once you've prayed to God concerning any matter, you can begin your work with a clear mind knowing fully well that God is on your side because you have faith in him. As a Christian, the prayer really only needs to be done once, walking with Christ means walking in divine favour so once you've prayed your chances of success with hard work are at 100% if God has that thing planned for your life. Remember that giving your life to Christ literally means "giving your life to Christ". In other words, you are of Christ and you aspire to live as Christ did, spreading faith in God and the word of God.

This brings me to back to what I said earlier, the work you've done with prayer, if it doesn't work out, it means that thing is not planned for you by God, he has something else in store for you to achieve your destiny as a child of God.

Your personal dreams die in a sense as a Christian so things are not only about you as a person anymore, you as a Christian need to think in the big picture and understand that what you get involved in is not for "financial blessings, promotion in your place of work" etc. Christianity is highly misunderstood in this country and worldwide which is why it seems confusing to a lot of people. The best way to understand it is that Christianity is not a Religion, it's a way of life. You aspire to live as Christ did.

Gaming / Re: League Of Legends by Cadentra: 1:35pm On Jul 14, 2018
Yeah I play league, I'm currently level 99. I started playing in january of 2017. I'm bronze 2 sha, I don't really play ranked like that. The problem with league is that if you rank up you'll just keep meeting wicked people that vex for any small thing. I mainly play with my guys in my uni. Riot Games should give me an award. Can you imagine that I've introduced 5 guys in my school to this game? It's fun in the first year and earlier stages but soon the game is just bleeped up if you don't play with your guys
Gaming / The Dark, Gritty, Colorful Origins Of Fortnite by Cadentra: 1:21pm On Jul 14, 2018
The growth of Fortnite

Epic Games has created what is undoubtedly the king of the gaming industry in 2018. Fortnite is a game known for its F2P(Free to Play) Battle Royale mode that has seen a concurrent player base of more than 40 million people worldwide!

With successful sales and garnering attention from popular influencers, athletes and celebrities such as Drake, Lil Yachty, Lamelo Ball, Joe Jonas, Roseanne Barr and Harry Kane to name a few. Fortnite has escalated in growth since its inception. Meaning that it is definitely here to stay. Now more than ever with its recent Celebrity Pro-Am at E3 2018 which brought 50 celebrities and 50 Fortnite experts to team up and entertain over 700,000 people live on the streaming platform, Twitch.

Early Concept Art

Many artists have contributed to creating Fortnite since its conceptualization in 2011. Originally, Fortnite was a darker game focused on creating a traditional shooter game with the twist of building elements similar to Minecraft and Terraria. With art inspired by Tim Burton, Pixar and Looney Tunes, Fortnite is rich in its creative background and the developers were willing to use thematically distinct sources to bring the game to life.

Pete Ellis, the current Art Director at Epic Games, Tanya Jensen a former Executive Producer at Epic and Cliff Bleszinski a former design director at Epic revealed the game officially to the world in E3 2012 with a relatively similar design to the current game. The 2012 E3 demo sported a look closer to Burtonesque characters with the character models having exaggerated limbs and slimmer builds.

The Husks also made appearances in the 2012 E3 Demo as zombie-like beings that sported human faces for hoodies?

Why we love Fortnite’s origins

It’s pretty clear that Epic Games is a company that loves testing the waters and gamers are happy about that. Without these wacky ideas being tested, Epic wouldn’t have been brave enough to add some of the weirdest things to the game. Like that time Thanos appeared or the shopping carts, jetpacks, homing missiles, gravity crystals and many more!

Gamers are hopeful for the success of season 5 in Fortnite Battle Royale and Fortnite: Save The World is also receiving major updates as well. Epic Games is a brilliant company and gaming studios could learn from their bravery to create a unique experience for people of all ages and backgrounds.
