I knew my way around gravity box, so no way to spoil the phone.
Just that after every call, normally my phone will show the call back and message options under the number. for few seconds.
That option doesn't show again.

If there's no way to get around this,can someone please send me his original stock hot note cwm backup?

That's caused by gravitybox. Change the Fullscreen caller photo option to disable under phone tweak in gravitybox.

If you just bought your phone, then you have the updated version. Might not have the latest update though. Infinix have released about 4 updates for this phone. It's the first update that removed the feature.

The feature has been removed by the update. That's one of the visible difference.

Restart your phone and hold the vol up button while restarting. Or power off your phone completely, wait 10secs then power it on holding the power button + vol up button together.
Better still you can reboot to cwm via mobile uncle or titanium backup if you are rooted.

OK just play an audio file from internal SD. You should be able to find one in notification or ringtone folder.

That tutorial is for installing cwm recovery. You now need to boot to cwm and do the factory reset from there.

So far so good until I decided to send music, started playing the music, after like 5 seconds the sound starts to depreciate until I can't hear anything but buzzing. I thought it was the music, sent a video, the same result. Radio the same thing. Even when using earpiece the same thing happens. What could be causing this?? Any solution??

Yes, use mobile uncle to flash it. Make sure you rename it to recovery.img and place it in the root directory of your sdcard.

Or flash the stock ROM if you have it.

Solution is to unroot your phone if you're rooted, Revert back to stock recovery if you have Cwm recovery installed and/or reinstall any system app(s) you might have uninstalled.

So best thing is to update as soon as you get your device before starting your root and custom ROM adventure.

This same thing happened to me... Have u gotten a fix? Did u change your launcher? Cos that's maybe what I'm thinking caused it.

There are 3 major things that normally stalls the update.
a)your phone being rooted
b) having Cwm recovery as opposed to the stock recovery
3) uninstalling system apps that the update needs or wants to update
So either or combination of the above reasons could affect your update.
Some are mild in which the update will fail but won't brick your phone while others do brick your phone.
