Yes, in the UK we have black brits (who were born in the UK) and we have africans (african migrants) the reasons is black brits in general could be brits born in the UK with different ethnic back grounds like, blacks from Jamaica, all the carribean islands and different african countries.


In the UK when people are blacks born outside the UK
their african or carribean accents can be noticed hence the distinction, however, some african or carribeaners who have lived in the UK for dacades could sometimes speak as though they were born in the UK. it can be confusing.


So most times questions like " where are you from originaly? gets asked by either white brits or other black brits/black africans so as to ascertain ones origin and why ones accents sounds "foreign" it can be massively complicated.
