Travel / What To Do After Visa Denial by canadaddy: 12:20am On Jun 14, 2021
Sequel to my article about my US visa denial experience, I will like to discuss the next line of action after rejection. Being rejected comes with frustration but I will like to encourage everyone and give you the options you have after your visa application denial. Here is a few things you need to know and what to do after visa denial in order to plan your next line of action.

What you need to know

1.There is no appeal process

When you visa is rejected, you can’t appeal for reconsideration unlike some other European countries. Whatever the Consular says is final. But the good news is you have the opportunity to reapply, readjust and go with proper strategy for your next application.

2.Identify the problem and fix it

Review the reasons for which you are rejected. In some cases, there is no real reason. Even the consular will not give you a reason; In my case, after two question, the Consular said sorry and extend the denial booklet to me; I was like shoo, my money don burn finish be that? .

It was saddening but I understand I was not convincing enough at the get go; I was woeful from the very first question. The consular especially at the US embassy don’t have time. There are thousands of other applicants to attend to. So you have to be on point from the very blast of the gun.

Reflect on what is wrong and fix it. Then go back. Though you have been denied, it is not the end of the world.

3.Denial is not solely your fault

Sometimes, being denied does not depend solely on you. It also depend on the mood of the Consular too, he or she is human too. Our decisions are influenced by our environment as a human being.

In my case, the applicant that went before me had a fierce altercation with the Consular, that it took the security to be called to escort the applicant out. Unfortunately, I was next in line. When I got to the Consular, there was no opportunity for pleasantries; And to make matter worse, I was not on my A game. There wasn’t a second chance for me and the rest is history.

Be prepared and plan on how to break the ice; should you find yourself in dicey situations.

4.Consistency in your application

Reapplying means you have to go through the process again. It is important that you are aware that they have your information in their archive so you have to reconcile the information you have given earlier with any changes you want to make in your new application. Be prepare to support changes with evidence.

I wish you good luck with your migration dreams

Travel / My Visa Denial Experience: What You Should Avoid by canadaddy: 11:52pm On Jun 10, 2021
My US visa application was denied recently and based on this experience, I decided to share tips on what you should avoid when applying for US visa or any visa at all. I believe all my readers can learn a thing or two from this.

So let’s start with general overview of any visa application;

Almost all visa applications begins with completing an electronic/online or paper form, which in my case was the D160 form.

The form will asks for information from your passport, date of previous travel, work experience, education history among other questions. You may also be required to provide username of your social media accounts used in the past 5 years.

To avoid any mishap and have a successful application, I have listed a few tips below you should adhere to starting from the point you start filling out the visa application form to the visa interview room.

1. If you are asked to submit your social media account username

Make sure you clean your social media page off anything that suggest violence, religious extremism, homophobia etc.

2. Pay attention to details and avoid error

Your information should be correct and complete. Check dates and check for typographical errors. Make sure you have not made any spelling errors.

3. Do not provide any information you cannot defend

You must be able to provide evidence to support what you put on your application form. For instance if you claim your sister is your sponsor, you have to prove family ties and also prove that the person is capable of sponsoring you.

4. Do not memorize answers to questions

It is okay to go online for sample questions and answers but do not memorize because the visa officer may not ask what you expect and if you have memorized a certain pattern of questions, it may throw you off balance. Also your answer may sound rehearsed which gives the consular a red flag.

Just be yourself and be prepared for any question.

5. Do not give information you are not asked

Some people may be out of confidence or nervousness starts to give more than they are asked. Make sure your answer is brief and direct.

6. Do not give answer that will trigger additional question

This is almost the same thing as point number 5. When you over talk, you give the visa officer more points to ask questions from.

7. Consistency of information

Whatever you provide in your online form and what you say during your interview must be consistent. You have to conform to whatever you provide in your form.

Even if after submitting your application, you feel you have not answered a particular question well, do not change your answer in the interview room. Be consistent.

8. Don’t overly dress

If you have gone for interview before you will attest to this, people come with different outfits, you will different people like traditional chiefs, nuns, catholic priests, pastors, police, army officers etc. They all come in their full regalia and still they are denied.

Dress simple and normal. You do not need to dress to kill.

9. Get help

Some people are able to do their application themselves perfectly while for some they need some experienced hands especially if it is your first time.

So you need guidance and direction from capable and reliable people. This sector is over saturated by people who claim to know how to package travel documents. Please do your due diligence and get the right hand to help with your visa application.

I wish you good luck with your migration dreams

Travel / Canadian Visa: How A Simple Letter Can Make Your Application Successful by canadaddy: 12:37am On May 15, 2021
It will be presumptuous of me to assume everyone knows about letter of explanation; So therefore, to start with ,let me explain what letter of explanation is, before we go on and talk about how a simple letter can help tilt your visa application towards the successful side.

A letter of explanation or otherwise known as letter of intent, is a letter written to explain yourself to the immigration officer treating your application file. In some cases, when you are applying for Canadian visa; Be it express entry, provincial nominee, studies or visiting, you probably may not have a physical face to face interview with an immigration officer. So the letter of explanation is an opportunity to give additional information that you need to buttress your application.

Who needs letter of Explanation
This letter serves as a proxy because you are not there in person to explain why you are missing a document or cannot provide a document for instance.

Perhaps you can not do biometrics or there is sudden change in your financial statement of accounts; you could not get a police clearance because of certain circumstances; Or you need to inform the immigration officer that you are seeking asylum or whatever extra information that will fill certain void; These are the areas a letter of explanation can be very helpful.

If you are applying for express entry through Canadian Experience Class, a proof of funds document is not needed unlike other application programs. So you may explain through a letter of explanation why you are not presenting a proof of funds document.

After proofreading your application, if you feel the need to shed more light on certain things that looks sketchy or not straight forward, you may need to write letter of explanation to support the document; To make the immigration officer to better understand that particular aspect of the application.

The Rules of Thumb
1. It should concise, complete and correct. You have to go straight to the point; you don’t need grammar. It is not an academic paper or thesis. You don’t have to impress, just make it simple, clear and straight forward.
2. Keep it as short as possible; remember the immigration officer has a backlog of other applications and they have limited time to go through each applications. So maximum of 1 page to 2 pages. You should not reiterate what you have already submitted in your application. The letter is just to bridge a deficiency in information or clarify something. So keep it short
3. Keep it formal- Be selective of the words you use. Be cautious, polite and formal. Don’t use loose language. I’m sure you already know the drill of writing a formal letter.
4. Make references to attachments -You should make references to the documents you have attached or submitted, so the immigration officer can easily fetch and relate with what you have written.

In conclusion, It is not everybody that needs a letter of explanation; You only need to write one in case you are missing a document or trying to clarify certain things or give a particular information that will aid you towards success in your application.

Do your due diligence or contact an expert to know if you will need a letter of explanation or not.

I wish you good luck in actualizing your migration dreams.

Education / Postgraduate Studies: How To Know Which Canadian School To Apply To by canadaddy: 2:16pm On May 04, 2021
While searching for school you should understand that it is not just any school you should apply to. The school must be accredited as a one of the designated learning institutions in Canada; so that you can qualify for post graduate work permit when you are done schooling.
If your plan is to come to Canada and study, then go back to your country afterwards you need not worry.

But if you want to study then qualify for work permit after your course of study, the onus is on you to do due diligence and be sure that the school that you are applying to is among the schools listed as a designated learning institution by the Canadian immigration.

Otherwise, you will not to be given a post graduate work permit. Therefore you can not get the much needed work experience you will need to get your permanent residency.

see how to get post graduate work permit here

How to find a designated learning institution
Research your prospective school carefully to know if it is a designated learning institution; baring in mind that not all colleges and universities are designated learning institutions.

Check List of designated Schools here

Peradventure for one reason or the other, the Canadian immigration service withdraws a school from the designated learning institution list during the course of your program, this change will not affect you but to be on a safer side , you can transfer to another school and continue with the program.

Travel / Implication Of Using Fake Proof Of Funds by canadaddy: 7:58am On Apr 29, 2021
Proof of funds is very important and required for your visa application processing; either express entry, provincial nominee program, study or visiting.
This important document helps the immigration officer to determine whether you will be able to fend for yourself throughout the period of your stay in the country. However due to one reasons to the other, some applicants tender fake statement of account; without understanding the gravity of such act.

How much do you need to show as proof of funds?
The amount of money that will suffice as proof of funds depends on the type of application. The required funds for express entry is different from visiting and so is the required funds for study visa.
However, the more money you can show, the better for you or at least just enough to cover your living expenses and your return travel cost.
It is common to see cases where applicants who does not have enough financial strength to be compelled by travel agents to get a fake statement of account.
This agents claim the immigration officers will not know or check to see the authenticity of the document.
But the truth is, the consulate have their own way of doing background checks on people; If they detect that you submitted a fake proof of funds, it can earn you five years travel ban.
In the case of detection, the embassy will give you time to contest and proof that the document of proof of funds you submitted is genuine; If you do not bring sufficient proof within the stipulated time, they will now issue the ban.
This is called procedural fairness because they will not just give you ban out rightly without giving you a chance of fair hearing.
It is better to not submit any document at all than to falsify a document or give a false information; it may come back to haunt you.
Therefore beware of sweet talking and overzealous agents, because you will be the one to face the music.

Travel / Five Things You Need Before Applying For Study Visa by canadaddy: 12:41pm On Apr 28, 2021
Need i remind you that application for study visa is quite different from applying to a school. Before you can apply for study visa, you must have choosen a school and satisfy all the admission processes before the school gives you the nod to apply for study visa.

With that being said, lets dive right in to the things you need to apply for study visa and they are:

Letter of acceptance

This shows that you have been accepted by a school to study a particular program for stipulated period of time. Before you can apply for study visa, you must have chosen a school and satisfy all the admission processes; like application fee, uploading of document, statement of purpose etc; before the school gives you the nod to apply for study visa.

International Passport

Before you begin applying to schools at all, you need to get your visa ready and available. The validity should not be less than 6 months.

Proof of funds

This is your bank statement that will proof that you have enough funds to cater for yourself while you are in the country and also pay for your trip back to your home country.

The money in the account is expected to cover for your tuition, transportation, accommodation etc.

It is not a must for the bank statement to be your own, it is possible to the make use of a sponsor’s own. The most important thing is the ingenuity and the cash flow.

Do not falsify your bank statement. see the implication of falsify proof of funds

Police Clearance

You need to show you have no criminal background. To obtain this , walk into any police station and get the document stating that you do not have any criminal record.

Ties to home country

This can not be over emphasized, many visa application has been rejected based on this.

Read more on reasons for study visa denial.

This helps to show the immigration officer that you are going to come back to your country. If you are married, include your marriage certificate or if you have kids, you can get their birth certificates to support your claim that you have strong ties back home.

You can get a letter from your employer or your company stating the number of years that you have worked with them, how much you earn, also, the letter must state that the employer is aware of your travel and you will come back.

If you are an entrepreneur, you need to proof that you are thriving in your country and will come back.

Travel / Nursing Profession in Canada: Is It Worth The Hype? by canadaddy: 6:56pm On Apr 26, 2021
There is a very big hype about nursing abroad especially within the African community; It is generally accepted that the best way to go abroad is to be nurse or be in the nursing field.
The rate at which people are encouraged to get into nursing whether they are looking for a career path or trying to change careers is high; More often than not, nursing will always be mentioned.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with nursing, in fact it is a very high paying job. However, it is a open secret that people are going to nursing as a means to an end; which is migration and financial security not out of love or real interest for the profession.
Doing nursing for the wrong reasons can backfire because it is not as easy as people think. Getting into nursing school is rigorous and the courses can prove really hard but the point is, you should do something you are passionate about; This ensures you excel regardless of how difficult it gets along the path.
Therefore do not just do nursing because you want to migrate to Canada and enjoy the high pay. Nursing is a calling; You need to evaluate yourself if nursing is really for you before you put in for the course in nursing school or change your career.
Because of the aging population in Canada, nursing will always be in demand but guess what? Nursing is not the only health related occupation in Canada.
Asides medicine and nursing, below listed (in no particular order) are 12 other healthcare Jobs in Canada that are mostly licensed depending on the province you want to settle into and are also well paying.

HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT
Health care management varies depending on the kind of institution. It is not confined to hospitals alone, it could be facilities for the aged, mental illness care, youth care, disability care etc.
Any institution with integrated health care needs health care management. The minimum requirement is a degree.

HEALTH CARE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
If you have medical background and I.T capabilities, you can incorporate health care and information technology. You can excel in designing, analytics, consultancy, infomatics, data analysis, business intelligence et.c. There are so much potentials in health care information technology.

DENTAL HYGIENIST

These are people who do different kind of work in the dental office, ranging from patient examination, advisory functions and so on.

others are:
Lab Technologist
Medical Radiographers also known as Radiologic Techonologist or diagnostic radiographers or medical radiation technologists
Cardio Technologist
Respiratory Technologist
Pharmacist
Occupational Therapist
Physiotherapist
Massage Therapist
Healthcare Insurance

Opportunities in health care industry in Canada is not limited to the above list. Based on observations, African communities have a strong representation in the nursing/ medicine profession, but if you look into other health care field there are few numbers.
I think it is high time we should look at other potentials in the healthcare fields that are equally well paying and satisfying.

Travel / Ways To Enter Canada Without IETLS by canadaddy: 12:34pm On Apr 22, 2021
Are there ways to enter Canada without IETLS? Yes, it is possible. In this article, i will try to highlight the path ways through which you actually migrate without having to take the language test.

STUDENT PATHWAY
Coming from an English speaking country and having gone through school with English language as the major language of instruction, you will be exempted from the requirement. Except if you are passing through programs like student direct stream or Nigerian student express.

VISITOR
If you are entering as a visitor, you don’t need IETLS to apply but you should know that the as at the time of writing this article, the processing time has changed because of COVID-19, and except if you belong to the group of people coming on essential services and for family reunification, getting a visitor’s visa may get tricky.
Family reunification is the case of people who have families in Canada as in sons or daughters. In case of siblings, you may have to prove why you need to go. Are you celebrating something, are you graduating? Did someone just give birth without any help to take care of children, so they need you to come?
This are the instances or reasons with which they may give you visiting visa, otherwise you may not be granted visa at this period.
Also, you may also need to know that processing time for visitor’s visa in Nigeria is now 435 days.

See how to get jobs in Canada

JOB
Job opportunities that have labor market input assessment and falls within essential worker group like nursing, doctors, expatriate, agricultural workers are allowed to enter Canada without IETLS.
The processing time for work permit is different from country to country. For India, it takes 10 weeks while it takes 39 weeks for Nigeria. This affects the employ ability of Nigerians adversely.
Employers would rather hire Indians that can be processed within 10 weeks than hire Nigerians that you have to process for 39 weeks. Even processing time in Ghana, Kenya, Congo etc is just 8 weeks.
What affects Nigeria is people packaging rubbish and submit to IRCC. And they have discovered most of time, most of this application are based on fake job offers. Of course, they will take extra time to investigate Nigerian applications and because of this investigation , it increases the processing time.

check processing time of applications to Canada here

So if anyone tells you there is are ways to enter Canada without IETLS; please ask questions, is it through study or visiting or work permit based on the information stated earlier.
Don’t patronise travel agents that will tell you about work permit processing within one month except you belong to essential occupation group like nursing, agricultural worker or Information technology.
Finally, please note that immigration laws and application processing period changes from time to time. Therefore, this article is highly opinionated and only for advisory purpose only. You can seek legal advice or do your personal research.

Travel / Why Canada Is The Best Country To Migrate To by canadaddy: 6:42pm On Apr 21, 2021
Canada is ranked one of the best countries in the world- second only to Switzerland at number 1 and Japan at number 2. The criteria for this ranking is the standard of living, human rights, education , racial equality and so on. Why wouldn’t anyone want to migrate to Canada.

If you are looking for a good reason to move to Canada, here is a few reasons to consider –

MULTICULTURAL
Canada is big, welcoming and multicultural country in which you can settle down fast. There is a strong possibility of meeting your own community, For instance, the Nigerian community is fairly large, which can help you settle down fast when you get inside of Canada.

ECONOMY
Canada has the best economy in North America, unemployment rate stands at 5.8% which is low, inflation rate is at 1.4%, which is outstanding compared to many other countries.

EMPLOYMENT
white collar jobs is not exactly guaranteed for migrants, but well paying blue collar jobs can give you the leeway to settle effectively while you pursue your dreams.

HEALTH
Canadian government don’t joke with health. Every have access to free health care. compared to United States that you have to pay through your noses to get good health care.

EDUCATION
Primary and secondary education is free for permanent residents and Canadian citizens.

IMMIGRATION POLICIES
Canada has designed a system and several programs for migrants to migrate to Canada effectively. It is one of the few countries that allow graduate students become permanent residents after study. As long as you follow the required procedures.

PASSPORT STRENGTH
Once you hold a Canadian passport as a citizen, you can visit 117 countries visa free and 51 other countries with visa on arrival.

These are more than enough reason to start processing your applications. If not for your own sake -for your children’s sake.

Travel / 6 Jobs In Canada That Are Dirty And Lucrative by canadaddy: 2:36am On Apr 21, 2021
The truth is the Canadian dream is real. The system allows people to thrive regardless of what you do. And you will be respected as a human being regardless of what you have or what you do. This is one of the reasons why many seeks the greener pasture to have a better quality of life.

In Africa, you have to have certain amounts of money or be in a certain social class or be in a certain profession to be respected and be able to have access to basic amenities of life. Whereas in western countries like Canada, no one cares what you do or how much you earn, everyone seems equal and there is no form of economic or financial oppression.

Cleaners

There are residential cleaners who cleans people’s home for a fee and they charge by square/feet. The wage could be as high as possible depending on the size of the house. Within a short time, the job is done; Now imagine if you have four houses in a day, you can be making the money you make in your country per month in a day.

There are also contract cleaners who cleans commercial buildings everyday after working hours; this can be a side hustle for people who wants to make extra bucks.

Waiters/Waitresses

There is a minimum wage for people in this kind of profession and they can still make more in tips. If you can perfect the art i.e knowing how to serve and make good impression on customers, your take home will be on the high side.

Hair Dressers/Barber

Hair braiding can be very expensive and sometimes customers will have to book in advance because of the large amount of people that wants your service. There is no limit to what you can make per day in this line of work.

Truck Drivers

You can either be an owner operator or lease a truck either ways you get to make lots of money driving trucks for personal hauling business or under contract with companies like courier companies.

Trades

There are trades in high demands varying from province to province. Trades like plumbing, carpenter, welders, mechanics, electrician, upholstery etc.

There are skills that require licensing and years of apprenticeship, so you need to check for specific provinces and see their requirements.

Health care aid worker

These are people who assist and take care of patients; The aged or the sick patients that can not do things for themselves like bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Out of all the jobs in Canada mentioned, this one is considered the dirtiest because you may have to carry shit and piss; but we all know there is nothing like dirty money and also, money do not smell.

As an international student, if you will go back to your home country with the skill gained from your studies; There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing whatever course you like but if you are looking to study and stay then you need to know the courses to avoid as an international student.

Avoid courses with duration that is less than two years
Because you will need at least two years of study to qualify for three years work experience that will be valuable for your express entry profile. Also, some provinces requires you to have lived in the province for two years to qualify for their provincial nomination. Avoid courses that only lead to self employment
Why? Unless you are targeting immigration under entrepreneurial pathway or few immigration programs for entrepreneurs. This programs are not only few but also have less capacity for a large number of people. Canada wants people with skill-sets to work and self employment does not qualify therefore you have to make yourself employable.

Avoid courses that requires rigorous licensing
Before choosing a course, find out whether the occupation in the course is going to be regulated and require license. If the licensing takes too long, then you are most likely going to waste some time on the licensing process before you can get Canadian work experience.
Licensing rules varies from province to province; if you are selecting a school, make sure you check the regulations of the provinces as well.
Remember the at least two years of study rule; If you are in Canada for less than two years of study with one year work permit but you need a year to process your license; you will probably end up with no work experience and will have to go back to your country against your wish.

Avoid courses that have very low potential of employments
There are some courses whose career that are low in demand, and there are some that are not in demand at all. Some in-demand skills might even get you a placement while still in school. Avoid low or no demand career path because while your colleagues are getting the much needed work experience you will be wasting time looking for job and moving from one province to another looking for jobs pertaining to your course of study. This will be counting against your immigration plans.

Therefore before you choose any course, make sure it is in-demand in that particular province.
There are courses that will either take time before you get a job or you will have to take jobs not relating to your training. Here listed below are few examples of courses to consider carefully before choosing them or courses to avoid as an international student.

Philosophy
Geology – Before choosing geology, you have to consider and research the particular provinces, You do not want to study geology in Ontario where there is no oil and gas. This course will be more suitable for Alberta,Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Manitoba. Therefore research, research and research.
Hospitality degrees – This is a good course if you are taking the skill back to your home country.
Political Science
Theology/biblical studies
History
Music
Journalism/mass media
Teaching
Architecture
Arts

You need to ask yourself what your end goal is. If you want to migrate, you have to study the courses within the skill set needed that will lead to post graduate work permit; In order to get the needed Canadian work experience that you will use in your express entry profile to get permanent residency.
Migration process begins the moment you start your application for a course of study. This is why you need a good strategy and careful planning before you choose a course of study.
You may also need to consult with a professional immigration lawyer or advisor to avoid wasting time and money.

Its not that some of these courses are bad, but there are certain barriers for immigrants. Also, certain fields are hard to penetrate. It may take a while to find your footing and remember you have limited time to get your permanent residency. If you are more settled, if you wish you can get a second degree or whatever pleases you.

Kindly note that this is not a professional or legal advice, this article is only based on opinion and observations. Please endeavor to do your own personal research or seek professional advice to make your decisions.

Being a new migrant in a new country,in your first week in Canada, you may be faced with cultural and system differences. Especially coming from an African country, you will find out the way of doing things are different. And you may be lost on the first thing to do the moment you arrive at the airport.

SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER(SIN)
The first thing to put in place is getting yourself a social insurance number. Keep it safe at all times, everything will be attached to it e.g work, tax etc.

It is a 9 digits number that starts with 9 (temporary) or 5(permanent).
once you arrive in Canada, go to the nearest SERVICE CANADA and get it done within 30 minutes.
REQUIREMENT
Visitor’s visa or study permit as the case may be and your international passport.

HEALTH CARD
The Canadian health system is free, to enjoy this as a resident, you need to get the health card.

If you are an international student, liaise with your school.Since you have paid for health insurance included in your tuition.
If you are on a different visa or a permanent resident, you can register and your cover will start after 90 days.

During the 90 days waiting period, you can register for day to day insurance so you can enjoy health care. It cost just 5 CAD

ACCOMMODATION
As a new comer ,in your first week in Canada , you may want to prepare to lodge in a hotel pending the time you can secure a condo, basement or apartment depending on your financial strength.
Some landlords may require you sign a lease period agreement, so within that agreed period of time , you can not quit the premises and some may even ask of proof of funds, to make sure that you are working and can pay the rents.

DRIVERS’ LICENSE
Canada signed agreement with some countries especially the commonwealth countries, that you can come into the country and drive once you have swapped your international drivers license with the Canadian drivers’ license.

Most times, when you guys list these stuffs, you deliberately ignore those jobs that are skilled and requires no classroom education, yet earns and enjoy more than those you put up there?

Have you considered how much truck drivers make per trip? most of those guys up there have no social life in spite of the money they make, some of them can seldom be out of the job to do a 2 month vacation and if African like Nigerian, in 5years, dude is yet to be able to visit his home country, can hardly be able to do side hustle and stuffs. Let me just stop here, cos some may not understand what I am talking about. I mean, an ordinary Care-giver loads containers every 2 months to Naija, same Doctor will be begging to put stuffs inside the container onward Nigeria.

I understand you but the article focuses on people who want to go and study..in case they are wondering which course or career path to follow..thanks for your observation.i will do research on high paying blue collars job, skills and trades. Thanks once again
Travel / Implication Of Fake Proof Of Funds by canadaddy: 1:25am On Apr 06, 2021
Proof of funds is very important and required for your visa application processing; either express entry, provincial nominee program, study or visiting.
This important document helps the immigration officer to determine whether you will be able to fend for yourself throughout the period of your stay in the country. However due to one reasons to the other, some applicants tender fake proof of funds; without understanding the gravity of such act.

It is common to see cases where applicants who does not have enough financial strength to be compelled by travel agents to get a fake proof of funds.

Your information above, particularly those in bold, is so incorrect. Correct information as as follows:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) requires a B.Sc. degree in nursing which takes 4 years to complete after high school.
2. Practical Nurse (RPN or LPN) requires diploma in practical nurse which takes 2 years to complete after high school. It is lower than RN and has limitations as to what you can do.
3. Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a postgraduate program (Master's program). To be admitted into the program, you need to first have B.Sc. degree in Nursing and be registered as a RN. It will take minimum of 2 years to complete after completion of B.Sc. degree in Nursing and being an RN.

Note that Nurse Practitioners (NP) are not the same as Practical Nurses (RPN or LPN).

thanks for the correction

Travel / Best Canadian Province For International Students by canadaddy: 7:14pm On Apr 01, 2021
he best province international students that will be easiest to get a provincial nomination for permanent residence should be what every prospective international students (especially if you are above certain age) should look out for before applying for admission into any school.

Searching for a suitable school for your masters or PHD should not be only based on cheap tuition alone. Frankly speaking , there are really no cheap school anywhere for international students especially in Canada. International students always pay double or triple what citizen pays for higher education.

New Brunswick
New Brunswick is the best destination for international students because you can be a permanent resident while you are still a student. As long as you have the necessary work experience in the Noc code and have created an express entry profile – because the notification of interest will be given to you in your profile.

It is better to target New Brunswick and search for a suitable program and apply for a study permit. While your mate are still studying in other province , you are already eligible for permanent residency.

Travel / Reasons For Canadian Study Permit Refusal by canadaddy: 10:50pm On Mar 30, 2021
The first required thing to do to get a study visa is getting acceptance from a designated learning institution, then make sure you have enough to pay for your tuition and living expenses.

The last but not the least of the requirement is convincing the immigration officer that you will leave Canada after your studies. This is where it gets tricky, the ability to satisfy immigration authority that you will leave Canada is where applicants get an outright study permit refusal.

This is what this article hopes to address, so grab a cup of coffee.

Before you begin your application, you should do self assessment on various parameters especially the question that; will you be able to satisfy the immigration officer that you will be leaving after studies although your real intention may be staying permanently after your studies.

The immigration officers are not dumb, they already know that people wants to use study as an opportunity to migrate permanently. Also a married international student can get their spouse into the country through the open spousal work permit; a platform through which the spouse will be able to work and within a year will be eligible to apply for permanent residency through Canadian experience class while the principal applicant is still studying.

In order to be able to convince the immigration officer and avoid study permit refusal, here are few points you should assess yourself with:

Extensive travel history
You have have extensive travel history to Europe or USA or any other first world countries? If you do,The visa officer will be satisfied that you are likely to go back to your home country after studies.

Finances
Do you have your own money to pay for tuition, living expenses and your return back to your home country? You can have a sponsor; Yes. For people who have just finished secondary school- who is not working; It is acceptable and convincing enough to have a sponsor. But for someone who have graduated already and coming for post graduate diploma courses, it may not be too convincing. So therefore, it is advisable to have your own money or proof that you have it.

Like i said earlier, immigration officers are not dumb, if you tell them you have a sponsor, they may see you as someone who will come to Canada and shelf your education to go and hustle. So as a matured person, you have to proof to the officer that you have your own money.

Years ago they are not looking at these things; But now, you may want to check this on your self assessments before applying to avoid study permit refusal.

Strong ties
Having strong ties in Canada is a huge red flag that you will not want to go back. It will be difficult to prove that you have a relative in Canada and will want to go back after your studies.

If you have a family back at home, it is best to leave them behind and settle first before you get them in through the open spousal work permit program. That alone strengthens your ties to your home country.

But if you have extensive travel history, you can apply with your family; It gives the officer enough reasons that you will come back. if not, please go alone.
