Good evening everyone, I need a very good response to this issue that has been on my head..

The issue of tax clearance...My sponsor has enough funds in his account to fufill the financial capacity thing but I noticed he has an annual income of a little over 3m on his tax document.. We all know 3m is nothing for this OZ thing....Hope this is not a Red Flag because to me it seems contradicting...

I have gone for the genuine access to funds option which suits me fine..However, my sponsor annual income doesn't meet up with home affairs annual income of 60,000AUD...

He has more than 60k Aud in his account as of today which i guess will suit visa purposes even after payment of tuition deposit...The problem is the annual income on his tax docs is low...

be like say Annual Income strong pass SOA ooo... Please I need una honest response abeg

@britekestro77

Sorry for the refusal, please don't go crazy over this shit.. Things will only get better..
From your case, i think you shot yourself by saying you will return to your "particilar position" on completion of the program...that can't be possible, it shows the program will add no value to your career in naija...
Your place of work need to offer a higher position on completion of the program...

That statement finished the entire story in your SOP

Financial capability is just one of the criteria for visa grant...
Work on your SOP and your work documents, you will get it on your next app... cheers

@ Mr MACDONALDuzoma

I have looked through it over and over...At this point all I can say is that this was a mistake from the VO, their claims are so contradicting ...
It means they calculated the funds for two instead of 1(12 months ).

MISTAKE!!!!.

My mail to DIBP

Subject: EXCEPTIONAL CASE OF OMISSION ON VISA DECISION

The Visa officer,

High Commission of Australia,
292 Orient Street,
Arcadia,
Pretoria 0083,
South Africa.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Good Morning to you!.
My name is Macdonald xxxx with passport registration number ( xxxxxxxx). Date of birth is 9th of November, xxxx.

I just received the notification of my visa application today and there is a slight error that affected the outcome of the Visa application as attached.

The funds in my sponsor's statement of account exceeded the DIBP's required amount. The figures are stated below

Annual school fees= AUD29,100 ( please refer to my Admission letter) and I have paid AUD14,550 (Please refer to my attached COE)

Annual Living expense== AUD 19,824.

Travel cost== AUD 3,000

Based on the Calculation above AUD 37,374 (N10,576,842 in Nigerian Currency) is the outstanding expenses, However AUD 39,658 (N11,252,723 ) is the balance in my sponsor's FCMB account and that exceeded the required expense by you.

Considering the above explanation in line with the refusal reason, Kindly review your position as the school has extended my period of resumption to 8th of March.

Hope this meets you well?

Regards.

Good evening my brother, there's more to your refusal than their appalling reason... Or can this be a mistake from the VO?...
The program has one intake I guess, so trying again might be very difficult for you... God dey

I even dey scared to apply with this your story..
Don't worry my brother, things will only get better

[quote author=MACDONALDuzoma post=65436523]My dear Country people, I give God the Glory for the outcome of the Visa Application today. I was refused. In this forum, i have met good people yet i have not seen them yet. I am pleased the way we render advice and assistance here for the betterment of us. Prior now, i was emotionally moved when Embassy requested for SOA from an applicant here, he reached out to me because we were talking before then, i transferred 4.2 million Naira, even when i have not seen or met him . He is a man of integrity, he transferred back the money after he was done (in two weeks). Until now, i have not seen or met him though we talk on daily basis. ALBION can attest to me

I have always said that whatever the outcome would be, it is actually the Mind of God in my life and i will proceed without regrets. i am 30 years old, i think i tried to perfect my application even have in excess the required funds. DIPB today changed the goal post that i (sponsor) must have the two years tuition before visa will be granted in my favour.

My tuition fee is 29,100 AUD ( Nursing, Graduate entry, Flinders University ) I paid exactly half of the tuition fee and was issued COE and Had 11.2MILLION NAIRA as a balance in my account and presented such to the DIBP. I have attached my refusal letter for your reading. Please new applicants take note of this.

Seriously, let us always try to have options and pray for the best Option to happen. we can be great anywhere and anyday. (Next step is marriage and also going for PhD in medical Physiology in South Africa as i have full scholarship for the program. Was actually lazying around because of this decision.

Gracias ppl

This is serious, this must be a mistake...

Good evening everyone, in response to Chimax's question..

This Visa Application thing requires a whole lot of preparation and from some stories on this thread i have seen how honesty/transparency can have a negative impact on ones application...What's the big deal in a retiree sponsoring his or her ward..
This VO's are in search of any loop hole, the moment they find one you can't escape the dagger.. However, showing your sponsor as retired is weak in the sense that the sponsor is not employed neither is he/she into any form of business whatsoever.. So, not a good source of income...
In Contrast, we have pensioners that are buoyant financially e.g 50m in savings. I feel this set of sponsor might get a pass from the CO. Pension funds still not a good source of funds unless it's directed into business where other funds will reflect in the SOA..

The 14m being insufficient has some risk factors
1). The Institution: AL1 schools are mostly expensive compared to other AL'S... It depends on your annual fees and tuition deposit.. The higher the fees the more funds you need to show....

2) After Paying your tuition deposit, how much do you have left...The funds left must be greater than or equal to (Remainder of your first year tuition + Accomodation for a year + Travel cost..) If your balance surpasses this then you have fufilled the financial requirement.

If you had the14million from the start and you got admitted into a uni like uni of Sydney or Melbourne where you can't pay less than 20000 AUD as tuition deposit which is approx 6m in naira...Then you will be left with 8m, Hmmm.. I'm sure by the time you calculate the balance of your first year tuition+Housing and flight it will be higher than the 8m

If it was what you had left after paying tuition deposit then it means VO doesn't want to pass you Visa...Or because you stated your sponsor is a retiree

So my question is Was the 14m what you had left after paying tuition deposit or what you had altogether from the start..

Finally, Visa na àbiku and is only given by the creator..God help us all
